The best restaurants in East Maidstone South East

I’ve been coming to Fifi’s for years, and since they transitioned to a pizzeria, I’m happy to say the quality of the food has remained exceptional. Their pizzas are absolutely lovely, with a thick Neapolitan-style base and fresh, great-tasting ingredients. They also offer a fantastic lunchtime deal that’s excellent value and even includes a glass of wine. For those who need it, their gluten-free pizza bases are delicious too! The staff are always friendly and attentive, making us feel welcome every time. They even bring colouring activities for the kids, which is such a thoughtful touch. Highly recommend Fifi’s for great food and a family-friendly atmosphere!

First time we’ve ordered from this takeaway but shall definitely order again as food was excellent! Close to home. It would be great if they started delivering at some point in the future.

Ordered bhutuwa but normal goat meat curry came in order…i dont know how to explain the difference between bhutuwa and a curry….

Fabulous fish and chips. I don't normally so fish n chips as batter and chips normally soggy or under cooked, but not here. Will be back even if it's 11miles from where my brother lives.

I have visited MuMu twice during December 2024. Once for a private Christmas party and one for a work party. 2 very different events but unfortunately, neither met my expectations. I have visited MuMu several times over the years for Christmas parties and have always had an amazing time. My first visit @£70 a head was met with several issues, an awkward to sit at and sticky table, luke warm prosecco and a pile of vomit by a table we were moved to after complaining! Thankfully the food was actually okay! My second visit, the private hire of an upstairs room lacked festive decorations that were promised and any kind of atmosphere. The Bar Staff were not ready for our arrival and the toilets were dirty at the start of the night. Poor communication prior to the event led to misunderstandings regarding the timings of the DJ we had paid for! Customer service questionable on both nights. Stock answers of 'it says that on our website' and you should have an email about that' seems to be the solution to everything! I appreciate Christmas is a busy time for MuMu's but can't help thinking they are trying to do too much, stretching their staff to their limit and seems to me all they care about is taking money in advance of any parties so there is nothing that can be done about any complaints on the night!

Wow this place is super lovely, I've been to many Thai restaurants but this one tops them all. The banana fritter are a must.

Didn’t get what I ordered. Apparently Just Eat need to refund the cost of a King Prawn Madras but I have to call them rather than the restaurant!!

We went with a group of girls on a very busy Saturday morning. We had to wait 10 minutes for a table, but were seated by a lovely lady with dark hair, really bubbly and welcoming. Coffee was amazing, I had a mint mocha, my friends tried the Christmas cookie latte and also said it was very yummy. All topped off with a mince pie for the festive season. Oh and this was my first mince pie of the year… naughty but nice. A lovely morning in a lovely friendly local coffee shop. Merry Christmas Ladies
