The best restaurants in Chipstead, Hooley and Woodmansterne Reigate and Banstead South East

The Grape Variety at Chipstead is a hidden gem… wine shop by day, wine bar by night. Adrian and his team do a superb job and we always love going. Great wines, lovely service and ambience and some lovely food options e.g. chorizo and fries, baked Camembert, charcuterie boards etc. We highly recommend and it makes a nice change from the pub for something a bit different.

Friendly and accommodating staff. Good value, breakfast to take away. Food was hot and well wrapped. Would return. Good parking outside too.

Ordered on Deliveroo 3 drivers turned up and all turned away. They didn't answer the phone, I couldn't cancel the order as the app said preparing your order and had to contact deliveroo who said they couldn't get through to the shop either so had to cancel the order after waiting for an hour.

Visited with family (8 in total)and varying in age from 15 to 80, for my husband's 50th birthday. The restaurant was lovely but shortly after our arrival a very noisy group of ladies ( 14 or more)arrived and sat at the table behind our table, chairs almost touching. We asked to be moved as we couldn't hold a conversation due to the noise from the adjacent table of people, but were told there was no room. My 80 year old father-in-law has hearing problems and he had a miserable night as he couldn't hear anyone on our table at all, and felt leftnout. The volume from the other table grew until none of us could hear each other. The staff were inexperienced with this situation, made no effort to help us move, and we all had a miserable night instead of a lovely family celebration. My husband and I live overseas and this was a highly anticipated event and we left with our ears ringing painfully. This restaurant is a local one for the rest of the family and no one will return.

Would be a run of the mill Starbucks if it wasn't for the wonderful staff members. Service us always excellent and the coffee expertly made.

Had a flyer through our door. Kingswood Surrey so thought would give curry a try as others we have tried in the surrounding area at not the best . We were not disappointed. One of the best takeaways I have ever had. I had the Chipstead special a chicken. Dish, my wife had a chicken tikka medium curry, mushroom rice, onion bhajee etc etc. Absolutely Delicious. My wife also mentioned the delivery driver, how polite and pleasant he was. Have to say for our first experience brilliant. Will definitely recommend to friends and neighbours and will be ordering again soon. I even phoned the restaurant to say how pleased I was. Some people always quick to complain but not give praise. This is a gem of a place, and I strongly recommend it! We have been there once before with some friends and this time we took my parents for a special occasion. The staff were very friendly and catered to all our requests, especially when it came to the food (for fussy children). The atmosphere is great whenever you go and the food is delicious. Everything is reasonably priced, including the drinks. We loved it and will definitely be going back!!

Popped in with friends when out for a run. Nicely decorated with friendly staff. Enjoyed our couple of pints there.

Dinner last night was lovely. Food and service always 10/10 plus we used 50% off even better :-)

We were warmly welcomed to this lovely pub. Staff were friendly and helpful. There was a huge choice on the menu and the special lunch menu which we had. We found it reasonably priced. The food came promptly even though they had a few huge groups in. All the food was tasty. We really enjoyed our visit and will be back again. Our waitress Sophie was lovely!

Yummy hot food, delivered a bit early and by a cheerful delivery driver.
