Best local pizza outside of New York! Always very friendly and accommodating. Definitely worth a visit or two or three!

Absolutely loved this cute little restaurant, it looked like an old pub with beautiful natural light and a warm friendly vibe. The workers were very friendly and helpful. I ordered the Smashed avocado, fried egg, tomato and onion chutney, whole grain toast, chilli flakes (vegetarian) for £10 with a Hot Chocolate for £4. The smashed avocado has a citrusy hint, they provided a hearty portion on the two pieces of toast. The onion chutney added a wonderful sweet hit along with the spice from the chilli for the perfect balance. I really enjoyed eating here and would go back.

Great overall experience. Been a few times now, nice dining experience with the staff happy to chat and give good recommendations. The ambience was fairly calm and relaxing both times and each time the food was excellent, with the highlights being the steaks.

The front door closer isn’t working properly so the door doesn’t close fully as people come in and out. On a cold windy day like today, whenever a customer arrives or leaves everyone at that end of the restaurant gets a blast of cold air that keeps coming unless someone gets up to push the door closed. One of the waitress tries her best to keep pushing it closed (she did this 10 times in an hour), but the door is in constant use, so the diners nearby have to repeatedly get up and push the door closed. Rather than fix the offending door closer, they have put a small ‘Please Close The Door’ sign on the inside of door, which people coming into the place can’t see. The heater above the offering door was also off. We left after an hour with frozen feet.

I really enjoyed the set meal for two. The food was delicious, freshly made and amazing service. Would definitely recommend this local Chinese. We will be back soon.

We didn’t go in the end. They cancelled the night before. A sewage problem apparently. They sent us to The Royal Saracen’s Head. Not good.

Had takeaway from Malik’s Express. Expensive for poor food. A lot of dishes were too sweet and the rest were bland with little evidence of the use of spices. Very disappointing.

Been here many a time. Never had a bad meal here. Staff always very professional and attentive. Good range of foods to choose from. Usually go for brunch/lunch. Food is always well presented and tasty. Always delivered in a timely fashion. Nice vibe about the place. Can get busy at weekends so book online to guarantee a table. Overall, go, you won’t be disappointed. Recommended.

Lovely food , good service ( one of the waiters was having a grumpy day, but the rest were fab) and an enjoyable evening was had by all
