The best restaurants in Stanwell North Spelthorne South East

Work at LHR, we pop in after work, always first rate. But of late, chips scragends fish was thin, no taste what so ever. Are they... using other spuds and fish, grey in colour. We will give it another try, but. Every thing is going up in price it's not a cheap dinner anymore.

An oasis of calm and authenticity just minutes from lhr.... Just wish they had cask ales....

Don't go here for Yr takeaway...food hygiene of 3 is disgusting as I found out when I ordered food....dont know what meat they use,and don't won't to know🤮🤮🤮🤢🤢🤢🤢🤢🤢🤢🤢

Great food, my usual when in this part of town.

Found the pub in our hour of need due to being locked out of the car, after arriving back in the uk. Couldn’t have been more friendly and kind. Gave us both hot drinks on the house, chargers for the phones and even used their phone to make some calls for us. 10/10 on customer service. Highly highly recommend. Thank you!!

New owners, a kid was working behind the counter, looked like a 10 year old, went at 17:30 to get pie chips for the wife and just chips for me, they were cold, looked like they were old ones from this afternoon and just heated up, at them prices I want them cooked fresh, theses are new owners, If they carry on like this they won't be in business for long, this used to be a very good chippie, It's now been spoilt for their greed.

Sadly, it's now closed down, it was a very small pub, with a car park. But it lacked room, it was the size of a sitting room, back in the day, it made its own beer and was a small brewery

It's very expensive for a takeaway, you might as well go to a restaurant and have a sit down meal, also it's very average, not worth the price. They don't deliver either, better to have a better meal cheaper delivered than have this average food.

Delicious food, delivered fast and hot

I had a really poor meal here once before - but it was a while ago and I thought I’d try it again. Unfortunately, this time it was even worse. Szechuan chicken - a clear sauce with a few bits of Szechuan pepper. Otherwise totally bland with no discernible flavour at all. The chicken itself was dry, stringy and chewy - literally like leather and absolutely inedible. It had definitely been pre cooked quite some time ago. Even the rice didn’t taste fresh, and the vegetables needed salt. The staff were pleasant and polite and service was quick. Otherwise disappointed - definitely the worse Chinese cuisine I’ve ever tasted.

Every time I visit this Subway, there seems to be an issue with customer service. The staff, especially one of the women, is often on the phone while serving, which leads to mistakes in my order. It’s frustrating to feel like customer service is not a priority here. It’s not just a one-time occurrence; it seems like no one in this service station cares about the customers. Where is the management in all of this? Proper supervision and training are clearly lacking. I hope the management addresses this soon because it’s disappointing for a brand like Subway to allow such behavior.
