Every second item we ordered we were told was unavailable as a Green King company I can’t believe that the food stocks were so bad that they didn’t even have a single Steak available!!

This baker is probably the best in the area and I have used it for years. This morning however I purchased a couple of croissants and was horrified to find when I got home they were stale. So unusual please keep an eye on your quality control. I know this must be a slip up. FJ

Good location, easy to get to but hot chocolate can sometimes taste a bit watery..

Had a lovely Time and food at the chestnut tree was Great.Still the same great food had a bit of a weight but well worth it. 👌still great service only stopped for a drink.

The service was good the lady was lovely and helpful, could of been a tad faster. Food was lush. It wasn't very busy for a Saturday lunch time which seemed abit strange. The place was very cold though which was a let down.

The food was unbelievably delicious and the lemonade tasted like they made it themselves The gents toilet was stinky but the chairs were clean and also very very very very comfortable There was also the sculpture you can see in this table One side of the restaurant was very loud and the other side was quiet but the side was half forgotten The tables were a bit old but all is good 0 to 10 for the kids ( all dishes) 0 to 20 for adults ( all dishes). Ps: i just sat on the chair and just used the table They even provide good stuff The staff is very friendly

Ready to collect perfectly on time, the chips are really good - but that’s it. All bland and for some reason there was sweet and sour sauce in the duck chow mein. 🤮

Took our mum for her birthday , we all had a roast . Absolutely amaizing , beef so tender , roasties crispy , lovely selection of veg. Puddings just as good. Very well presented , staff very professional . Thank you , we’ll be back.
