Wow what can I say- such a wonderful weekend. A real treat to be able to spend the weekend in such a beautiful part of the world with a fantastic host. Amazing food- particularly the porridge at breakfast and they even stock lactose free milk! The apples from the tree in the garden were delicious. The host Kathryn made me feel right at home, providing me with slippers and a hot water bottle. What more could you want?! I thoroughly enjoyed the walks nearby and the amazing train links from the local station really do make life easier. I can’t wait to stay again. It’s the gateway to the Cotswolds!

We'd just been for a long walk in the driving wind and rain. We were wet and cold! Called in here for a coffee. Instead asked for a mulled wine and were treated to the most wonderful carefully prepared drink in beautiful glasses - perfect for the circumstances. Warm welcome and warm open fire too!

They fitted in 9 of us at short notice. Pizzas good, beer good, service good. All you need.

Had a Christmas get together here with a large group of friends. The team looked after us brilliantly and the food was fantastic. I look forward to visiting again and trying more of the menu. Thanks Shona, Gouldy, and all the team. Have a great 2025
