The best restaurants in Kings Worthy Winchester South East

Great takeaway, very reasonably priced. Made fresh and generous portions. Ordered on a Saturday evening and ready to collect within 20 minutes. Arrived and it was ready on time and piping hot.

Attended for lunch with family Sunday before Christmas about 18 diners in total .Food pre ordered but service was poor ,mains came out at different times ,food not that hot and when finally vegetables put on table and gravy the main dish was very cold .Desserts were served with 20 to 30 minutes between some dishes ,my 95 old mother got her dessert after everyone had finished .Cutlery was not on the table for serving cauliflower cheese and other vegetables so delay in adding to main dish so again everything cold . As for paying the bill ,a right mess up disorganised and now still confused who paid for what .

Fifteen discerning gentlemen of a certain age lunched at this pub after a local walk and couldn't have been better looked after. We had booked for only 14 lunchers but the kind and efficient staff coped admirably with the extra number and we enjoyed plentiful platefuls of pie and mash with lashings of gravy ,fish &chips, fish cakes and burgers which was all cooked excellently and served with a smile. There were a good offer of beers and wines and it was clear to us that this was a well run pub by a talented team who knew how to please the customer. Very many thanks.

Average decor, service with not much of a smile and very expensive. Wanted a ham and cheese sandwich and on the menu it was £12,50 !!! So opted for a croissant and a flat white with an extra shot. The coffee was £5.10. Exorbitant for a cafe.

Oh don’t even get me started I loved this place top and bottom my friend lives there and the curry’s I got was so sweet and tasty but one faulter was the fact it took sooooo long😩 it was nice though and the food was pleasing
