A very splendid and delightful pub with excellent staff and beautiful chefs would go again

We come here for most birthday celebrations and it’s the best Italian food for miles and miles great service and great staff members who always treat us like family. We love it here!

Ordered food from here for the first time. Food arrived hot and everything seemed OK at first. Fries were nice and crispy. However, like some of the other reviews have stated, the half pounder burger was disappointing. No real flavour or anything. Just 2 patties with a slice of cheese and a little sauce. It was average at best. We also ordered a wings meal and this is where things went south. The wings meal was for my little girl who complained that the wing tasted weird. I tried a bit myself and they were not right. They tasted and looked off. All 5 wings went in the bin, one half eaten. Disappointing. Won't be ordering from here again.

We used the pub for my father's wake. Lovely open fires. Staff were excellent, as was the food.

My first time here and our food tasted very good. The food came out in a timely matter and they had good drinks and drink specials. I will be going back again.

Charming traditional English pub with excellent service and friendly staff. Had a Sunday roast and it was fabulous 👌 All homemade with the biggest Yorkshire Pudding I've ever eaten! Dog friendly and lovely log fires and cosy atmosphere! We will definitely return!!

Went there for a Sunday Roast on Sunday 08th, a group of 9 family members. We couldn't fault it. Absolutely fantastic roast Chicken and Beef, the service was first class, the waitresses were friendly and efficient, the food was lovely and hot and freshly cooked, very clean and tidy restaurant. We'll defenitely be coming back again soon.

What a disappointment, worst service we have ever received. Four meals ordered but received three. When asked if meal was on its way , we were told it had been missed off the order. Due to the awful service this mistake was not even noticed. Waiter/waitress service was non existent no one asked if any sauces were wanted or if everything was okay. The restaurant was not busy so would have expected a much better service. Obviously will not be visiting again. 🙁
