Fuimos a Like Mum Makes, para un especial de Halloween anoche, jueves 31 de octubre de 2024 , para cenar. Había un menú especial de Halloween y había mesas con luces y se veía muy bien. Esta fue la primera vez que estuvo abierto en una noche y hubo una buena multitud de personas que asistieron a cenar. El propietario está pensando en hacer algo especial cuando los niños están en vacaciones escolares y abrieron de 5 pm a 7 . 30 pm. ¿Sería bueno ver a algunas personas más asistiendo a las noches especiales? Durante el día tienen una amplia gama de desayunos, menú especial y el menú normal de todos los días, que es una amplia gama de comidas, pasteles y bebidas, Me gusta el pudín de pan y pasteles de queso que es casero por la propia dueña. Hace una prueba, ya que son muy amables, serviciales y hacen un buen servicio?

Excelente comida abierta por la mañana y el almuerzo buenas porciones y precios razonables. Pasteles caseros y también en ocasiones galletas al horno que recomiendo probar. Un montón de sentarse, pero se pone ocupado como el café es popular. Si prefiere una comida para llevar o una entrega, llame al café.

Pequeña y encantadora pastelería / cafetería con un personal muy amable. Aseado y limpio y una encantadora selección de pasteles. El té / café era muy agradable al igual que los sándwiches, pero el crumble de ciruelas era absolutamente deeeeeelicious! ! ! ! ! ! ! ! !

We have visited the restaurant a couple of times over the last 2 months; once when "packed-out" over Christmas, the other on a routine mid-week evening. The food available included "the usual Indian fare" and also some great rare regional specialities. Our chosen selection was exceptionally well prepared and was delicate enough to identify each spice used in the various dishes. The waiting staff were friendly, helpful and seemed to really care about us. Both their behaviour and the high food quality were the same irrespective of how busy the establishment was. A real jem; if you are in Bournemouth or Poole, consider giving it a try. Bravo team, keep up the good work - we will be back very soon.

We were in Bournemouth just for a 2 night break. Never been to Bournemouth before and I looked up where the best fish and chip shop is. It gave me Barnacles, my husband isn't a great lover of fish and chips but he said he would have some with me. Everything cooked fresh and we sat in the car and enjoyed them hot. Well what can I say, they was the best we have both had in a long time even my husband was very happy and very tasty. Well done to Barnacles keep up the good work 👍

Me ha encantado The Spice durante años y siempre ha sido una gran degustación, pero esta noche pedimos una comida para llevar con platos que sabíamos que nos gustaban y fue decepcionante. La comida era tan sosa, solo salsas demasiado de tomate y apenas había diferencia de sabor entre el bhuna, palak o curry vegetal. Nonodea whatvha cambiado, pero definitivamente no gastaría dinero allí de nuevo. Qué pena.

Absolutely lovely food and lots of options. Staff are awesome especially Jack he’s the best. always a good experience and defo worth the money. Prices are reasonable aswell

Realmente disfrutamos de nuestra visita después de que la nueva dirección asumió el cargo. El ambiente es súper amable, gran menú a precios razonables. Una renovación encantadora, muy necesaria. La nueva dirección y el personal son encantadores. Montones de eventos y actividades. Sin duda recomendaría.

Terrible battered fish, the batter was not cooked and the fish portion not very big. Had 4 standard fish and chips and they were all the same. Suggest they go to Malvern Road and get some tips on how to cook fish and chips.
