The best restaurants in Bishopston Bristol, City of South West

在西班牙留学5年，真的是我来英国以后吃过最好吃的西班牙菜。没有踩雷的随便点全都好吃😭😭😭 prawn一定要点！！面包蘸那个汤汁真的太香了！！鸡尾酒也都特别好喝，喜欢tapas的真的必须打卡！！！环境也很好，服务也很好，一定会再来吃！！

We had pot of tea for two and two Chip Butties. The butties were amazing, I've had a lot in my years but these were lovely. Great service, fantastic interior takes an age to soak up all the wall and ceining hangings. Thank you.

We were on a day trip to sample the Bristol beer scene, the Drapers Arms came very highly rated by our local micro pub owner. From the moment you entered this place felt special and it certainly was friendly greeting, excellent choice of real ales and all clientele were very sociable. The entire place had a friendly buzz about it. We arrived just after opening 1615hrs and sadly had to leave at 1800hrs but managed a couple of pints each. Could have probably managed another but too much chat with other friendly customers :-) !! We hope to return.

First time customer and I am blown away. Decided to order some food late at night and had a bit of a sweet tooth. Came across the establishment on Uber Eats and decided to give it a chance… I’m so glad I took the chance! The chicken and waffles with maple syrup really did the job and I for sure am definitely going to be a regular! Portion was up to par and the chicken was well seasoned. Everything complimented each their and has me wanting more!

Very clean shop. Staff were really friendly and chatty. Fish was cooked to order. Everything was piping hot and tasted great. Would definitely recommend

Uh oh, I’ve found a delicious dessert place just a 5 minute walk from my house! Absolutely love the decor and the atmosphere in there. My boyfriend and I each got a different waffle so we could try both. We had the biscotti one and the white chocolate and strawberry one - both incredible and a generous portion size. I would’ve taken a photo but we went in at night time so it was too dark! The rest of the desserts and the pizzas sound yummy, and I love the fact you can get tango ice blasts there too. Can’t wait to come back and try more things. Staff were lovely too!

Been there couple weeks ago and it was an amazing experience,they have variety of shisha flavours and staff is very nice and elegant.

Che, our barista made our brief visit here absolutely amazing. She was funny, welcoming, and made fantastic coffee, including the best hot chocolate I had ever tried! She made a great effort to talk with all the customers, and let us stay later than closing time as she closed down. Will definitely be coming back!

I hate having to give a low review for what’s clearly a nice family run restaurant but our experience was less than optimal. Given the prices are quite high I don’t think this could be justified without me writing a review and giving some constructive feedback. To start the young waiter is very friendly, but because he is the only one serving he’s rushed. We didn’t get given menus when we were sat down, we were given some about 15 mins later by the older gentleman when he saw we hadn’t been given any yet. The starter took an hour to arrive. When it did it was tasty, but waiting that long for a starter kind of ruins the experience. Because there is only one waiter, there was no one checking if we were ok, or wanted any more drinks while we waited etc- which is what you would expect when the wait time was this long. We then waited another 50ish mins for mains and I didn’t enjoy mine- again the wait time ruined things. Because it was in a stone bowl it remained really hot, and I had to wait another 20 or so minutes for it to cool so I could eat. I get that this is how the dish is traditionally served and it would not have been an issue if the wait time had not been so long- but again the wait time ruined the experience. It looks to be one lady doing all of the cooking so I understand why there was a long wait- but this isn’t the way you can run a modern restaurant, especially with the higher prices. They need far more staff in both the kitchen and front of house. The restaurant is also cash only which isn’t the most convenient. Very disappointed, especially because we went out of our way to try this place after hearing good reviews. Update- I’ve thought about this more since writing the review and realised, as has happened at other restaurants, the decent thing to do after we waited so long would be to knock a percentage off the bill or give us some free drinks. Neither were offered. So very disappointed and will stick to my usual spots from now on.

i ordered for collection, firstly i called nd asked them i would like to eat some indian food, they are very calm and friendly and suggest me some spices dishes and they also suggest me to order online and get 15% discount on it and literally pay online such a easy method. They know how to make customer happy. thank you for the delicious food.. I recommend to everyone to order for authentic food.

Very friendly staff and relaxed atmosphere. Extremely reasonable prices for Bristol and good variety of food that's a little different to elsewhere. Also dog friendly, which is a huge thumbs up from us ☺️

Nearly £20 for 2 coffee's and 2 slices of cake. Cake was disappointing over sweet jam and cream wasn't fresh at the price they are charging I expected a lot more. Service was ok but slow. They seemed to be overwhelmed with the small amount of people waiting to be served even though there were lots of staff. Carrying jugs of boiling water around isn't best practice and the sugar etc needs to be by the serving counter not the other side of the cafe this is a hazard when people are walking through to get to tables, people stood waiting for drinks then others carrying unlidded cardboard cups through this to get sugar. Also trays might be useful as carrying 2 cakes on paper plates and 2 hot coffee's isn't easy. Over all disappointed and won't be going back.

What a great find to add to the Gloucester Road options. Fantastic range of wines. Range on the menu reflected local ingredients available and all ingredients were perfectly handled. We really enjoyed our meal and will be back before too long
