The best restaurants in North Highcliffe and Walkford Christchurch South West

Now known as Walkford Cafe. My wife & I had the best full English breakfast we have had for years and very reasonably priced too. Looked after by two friendly young ladies we were able to sit inside with our little dog. FE Breakfasts are served until 2 p.m.

We went for lunch at The Kitchen yesterday for my birthday and loved every minute! The restaurant was beautiful decorated for Christmas and has a lovely relaxed atmosphere. All of the staff were friendly and everyone made a point of coming over to say Happy Birthday which was lovely of them (and brought over a birthday dessert with a candle after which was a lovely touch). We both had the pork chop for our main course and it was absolutely delicious, perfectly cooked and a taste sensation. We had dessert which was also delicious. We absolutely loved our meal at The Kitchen and will happily come back another time, a really beautiful place and meal. 5*

Just had to say what a great New Year's Eve evening we spent at the Amberwood. The staff made us very welcome and were attentive throughout the evening. The drink prices, particularly the bottled wine, were very good. Highlight of the night was the food. Not only were the portions generous but the Beef Wellington we had was an absolute sensation.....well done to the chef!! We'll be back and I'd happily recommend it.

Will never eat from here again. Food was delivered an hour before the time chosen on the online ordering. The food was horrible, tasteless, small portion, chewy meat. Inedible so went in the bin. Contacted the restaurant but owner was unfriendly and didn’t offer an apology or a refund. Manners cost nothing
