The best restaurants in Wool Purbeck South West

We bought two slices of gorgeous cake here, a Dorset apple cake and a toffee fudge, both were really delicious and we thoroughly enjoyed them! We were disappointed that it wasn’t the lovely man who served us the last time we were in Wool as he was so friendly and helpful! Would definitely recommend

Cecelia's is closed for major renovation or permanently. Interior is empty.

Food wasn’t very tasty. All bland. Shame as it used to be very good.

Somewhere mediocre atmosphere, limited menu, will look elsewhere next Tankfest.

We have eaten at the Seven Stars before and chose it for our Christmas meet up as it is equidistant from us and our daughter’s family. We arrived a little early nevertheless we were greeted warmly by the staff and shown to our table. A high chair was brought for our baby. Throughout our visit, the staff were friendly but not obtrusive. The food was good and there was a wide choice on the menu - perfect for a group such as ours with varying tastes. A great venue for a family gathering.

We were staying locally and needed a pub meal after a day out walking the coast path. The food was very good, and very generous portions. Would recommend for delicious pub grub.

Just a really nice coffee shop, and that's that. It does what it says on the tin and quite nicely really. Would defo go back again, that's for sure.

We were travelling and called in here for breakfast and were allowed to take our dog in with us The staff were friendly and the loos were clean and we were able to park in the car park. Staff were super friendly. We enjoyed eggs Benedict and coffee which was quickly produced and good quality.

I stood at the counter while the man behind moved stock around and ignored me. When he eventually looked at me I asked for the order and he said £10.10, I pointed out that it was £10z. 10p for the carrier bag was the reply. So I said I didn’t order a bag. He was grumpy throughout and the place looks uncared for. The food was very average at best.

Went with a friend for fish and chips ,I don't recommend this place at all and the food is horrible fish was like mush and the chips were very dry we were not able to eat we were extremely disappointed ..... When looking the foor was very dirty and a young girl who was working needs to dress appropriately......
