What a wonderful place! We were staying in the area and came here twice. The weather was pretty dreadful but as soon as you walked through the door it was such a warm welcoming interior and the lady who I believe owns it was just so lovely, friendly and very welcoming to two wet walkers and our dog. The coffee was excellent and our dog even got treated to dog biscuits. We shall definitely return... Xx

Bonita tarta, y una amplia gama, más una vegana. Caja de jugos gratis y una interesante variedad de artículos para comprar, las lociones para el cuerpo olían deliciosamente. El personal era muy dulce

Always on holiday ! Jocks, livin’ da life, always away cycling and jus’ chillin’. Moaning how hot it is on the continent and that the winter fuel allowance won’t cover the air con in the van. Doors open on this fine Sunday but no lemon drizzly drizzle, took one fine English SIS caffeine jel in return for a flat white. He’s lucky I accepted his heart in return for sitting in the wheels all the way round.

Awesome cool little café in keeping with the vernacular architecturally yet cool too. The coffee is great and some hearty food as well. Bacon baps, toasties, veggie, soups, avo and toast etc. All top quality. All age clientele - younger crowd and older locals, families and dogs, walkers, cyclists and even horse riders pop in.

Just went for a 1 night dinner, B&B break. A small boutique hotel with a small pool, hottub, and sauna, plus massage facilities. The food was excellent from the 2 AA rosette restaurant for dinner & breakfast. Nice small bar area, plus the lounge. Very cosy in the winter. The bedroom was clean and tidy and well equipped. Sadly ot was very foggy during our visit,...so we look forward to returning in Spring or Summer to take in the views.

UPDATE - Tuesday 03 Dec 24 After dicussing, by private emails, the events of last week, Team Henry asked me to give them another try. This I did today, and I was not disappointed this time around. The coffee was great, and the sausage roll was a beast of deliciousness!! Thank you Team Henry for making this experience as good as my first. Tuesday 26 Nov 24 Went to Henry's for the first time on Sat for a light lunch. So delighted with the service, food and atmosphere, that I returned for lunch today, Tuesday. Friendly greeting, and I ordered a black coffee and ham and cheese toastie on brown seeded bread. Now it all goes south!! Coffee arrived, and it was a murky brown colour, and taste made me think it was instant, not filtered. Only some granules on the saucer clued me in to it being allegedly filtered. After 15mins, people coming after me having received their food, I asked what was happening with my order. Apologies given, and I waited a further 10mins for the food to arrive - on white sourdough!! I mentioned my frustration to the young lady server who offered me a replacement or refund. I declined as I had already waited so long, and ate it. I recognise the place was busy with lunch service, but to forget an order, and not even update the customer, is bad service. Henry's is local to me, and the food I have ordered has been good, despite being on white bread instead of brown, but due to my experience today, I will be thinking long and hard about returning to this establishment.

Fantastic coffee as good or better than the best spots in London. The owner was super friendly and the egg and bacon roll was excellent. The place was buzzing on a Sunday morning. Well worth a visit if your in the area.

Despite a very busy shop at 5.15pm on a Friday, I walked into a warm friendly atmosphere and was asked for my order within minutes. Staff member was polite, friendly and efficient making sure she had heard my order correctly. There was a ten to fifteen minute wait as the food is cooked to order. Whilst waiting, another staff member asked if everyone waiting had been served and then chatted to all the waiting customers. My order was boxed up beautifully and had a friendly goodbye when I left. The traditional haddock meal was delicious. Batter very light and crispy. Fish thick and meaty. Chips crisp and not greasy in any way. Mushy peas of course! Repeat customer in the making! Thanks Chip Shed Minch!

Unfortunately no longer a public house. Irregular inconsistent opening hours with limited offerings. A shame as the location is great.
