The best restaurants in Westward Ho! Torridge South West

I have gluten and dairy intolerances and they were so accommodating and I could have a Christmas sandwich and a milkshake. I didn’t feel left out. Thank you so much tea on the green

I love this cafe. As local I can vouch for the take away coffee. Best in Westward Ho! Always steaming hot and strong enough. The guy who owns it is super lovely too.

This place is my new favourite place to go for breakfast in Westward Ho! The service was excellent, such a lovely couple!! The food quality was top notch! The sausages were from the butchers next door and my Dad especially loved the thick sliced toast from the bakery too! All round brilliant 🤩 we will definitely be back!!

Best lunch AND dinner I had during my stay. The owner is very friendly and portion sizes are amazing! Everything tasted fantastic, there’s no bad options on the menu. 10/10 must try when visiting as it’s the best tex-mex style food in Devon!

19 of us descended on Paul and Tammy for their xmas special,The Loaded roast!! Everyone without exception loved the meal and whole experience,for some it was their first time at The Rock Pool and others of us who have enjoyed our weekly visit during 2024. We also sang quite a few carols which was great fun. Many thanks to the wonderful staff who put up with us!! We look forward to the coming year and many more great times at our local cafe. Large party of 12 in this small restaurant. Everything was so smooth in terms of service. The staff were friendly and just the right level of attentive. Food was delicious and plentiful for our money. Drinks were pricier but good! Food arrived quickly. We were really pleased with our experience.

Brilliant cakes for people with allergies and great breakfast

Not bad Thai food. Children are forbidden which is strange at a seaside family spot like this. was turned away with my family but came back another day and tried some food. Soup was nice. Ribs were ok but were cold in places, so evidently "reheated" with a warmed sauce on pre-cooked meat. Tasted ok but nothing special

Been coming here for years when we visit WWH, always great quality and reasonable portions for the price. Can get really busy during peak season so we always preorder via their website which we find works a treat and saves queuing for ages

We ate twice here during our stay in North Devon. We ate a light lunch with the family, and the food was delicious. The lady who served us was very friendly and helpful with the children. The meals were fresh and hot. We watched other families enjoy the carvery which looked amazing. We went back for breakfast the following day and once again were impressed with the service and food quality. We will return and hopefully time it right so that we can enjoy the carvery.

Great food asked for the garlic bread to have no cheese and it turned out perfect was really enjoyed

I just love this quirky wee cafe. I had visited it a few years ago and was delighted to see it's still there. On the day I went the internet was sadly down but I was able to pay by BACS, that might have explained why it was so quiet - people go, the food is great and the ambience very inviting, especially on a sunny day! I had the mackerel with bagels, salad and kimchi, delicious.

Excellent cakes and rolls excellent friendly helpful staff all in all 5⭐️ in everything see you again in May 2024
