Lots of interesting and unusual things to see in this place, lots of random mementoes and furniture pieces from decades gone by. If you grew up in the 70’s or 80’s you’ll recognise quite a few of them. Nice place for a cup of tea or coffee and something to eat too.

Went for breakfast as non residents. Quality of food was excellent, staff were friendly and environment was very pleasant. If I had one criticism it would be the coffee, it tasted fine but was lukewarm and my flat white was more akin to a latte.

Another excellent lunch in Henderson’s. We visit very time we go to Salisbury and lunchtime visits are a special occasion. Service is friendly and efficient , even when they are very busy. This visit my wife had the tomato, mozzarella and pesto panini which was fresh, with a generous tasty filling and accompanied by a light side salad, also fresh and delicious. I went for my staple bacon, Brie and cranberry sandwich on sourdough. The sandwich is packed with great bacon cooked just as I like it and there is lots of Brie and cranberry, also with a side salad. If you are looking for fantastic fresh sandwiches, made to order, then treat yourself to a trip to Henderson’s.

Visited the farm shop today for lunch and was very pleasantly surprised. Friendly efficient service and lovely atmosphere. Steak and ale also chicken, bacon and leek pies served with veggie mash and gravy were excellent. Loose leaf tea in a pot was a real treat. Would definitely highly recommend.
