Just a note to say a really heartwarming thank you to all the staff in the excellent service we received on our visit yesterday. My daughter and son-in-law both thought we had found a hidden gem which is credit to your establishment (they are used to eating at high quality restaurants in their home town Los Angeles US) all the staff were welcoming and attentive and it was especially nice to see the chef at the table, the words absolutely superb, delicious and amazing were echoed throughout the meal at every course. Currently visiting the top 20 places to eat in Staffordshire. This place was at number 6 (when I started this nearly 2 years ago) Place was lovely. Really nice atmosphere. Was fascinated to hear on the next table that there was someone who was a phone a friend on who wants to be a millionaire. I digress My starter was beautiful, meatballs, mozzarella and macaroni. I followed this with steak and ale pie. Which was faultless. Had enough room for dessert. Christmas pudding, best one I've ever had, and I like Christmas pud. This will be difficult to score in the 14 I've already been to, definetly vying for the champions league places. Positives: food and service were increbible Negatives: This comes from my background in waiting on and silver service, but the cutlery didn't match. I personally thought it should. But that is a very minor detail in a very excellent night Thanks 👌👌👌👌👌

4 of us went for an lndian night poppadoms and chutneys to start next were onion bhaji and samosas with a vegetable dish and the mains there was a choice 3 of currys with rice and nan bread and fresh fruit with ice cream for dessert all in all a very nice meal and the staff were excellent and polite we have also been for Sunday lunch and would go back again

Stopped here on our way to Chester and, although it is only a small establishment, it had a good choice, including the infamous vegan sausage roll. Staff were continually cleaning the shelves and floor, and appeared to be taking pride in the place.

As usual always friendly and open to help whayever your pronlem. Absolutely excellent for everything throughout. Nothind too much trouble.

I had the pleasure of dining at Mario’s in Uttoxeter today, and it was a wonderful experience from start to finish. To start, I had the Bruschetta, which was not only delicious but served in generous portions – a great way to kick off the meal! For my main course, I chose the vegetarian spaghetti, which was saucy, flavorful, and perfectly cooked. To finish, I tried the homemade tiramisu, and it was absolutely divine – light, creamy, and a perfect balance of flavors. The portion sizes were spot on, and the prices were great, offering fantastic value for money. The attentive and friendly staff made the experience even better, ensuring everything was just right throughout the meal. Mario’s is a real gem in Uttoxeter, and I’d highly recommend it for anyone looking for authentic Italian food with excellent service. I’ll definitely be back! ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️

Good selection of real ales. They had 4 on when I last visited on a Saturday. Beer was well kept.

Yet again, a pleasant friendly atmosphere welcomes you here. Amazing food and a great selection of drinks to choose from. The manager Phoebe and her staff are amazing and nothing was too much!! Keep it up please, the service is exceptional 😀😀👍👍👍☕☕🫖🍸🍺

Staff are very friendly, they have a lovely atmosphere in the shop no matter what day or time. There doner meat is amazing I would definitely recommend

I had a meat Balti which was lovely but the look on my wife’s face told me something was wrong she Three pices of chicken in a very watery soup which didn’t Taste of anything The Pilau Rice was lovely and the popudums . My Garlic Nan was red in colour and a bit burnt in places but was ok Taste . Unfortunately my wife’s meal Chicken Balti was awful . i would have complained if we weren’t in a bit of a hurry.

Just had our Christmas work do here, wish we could give more than 5star, the welcome was lovely,the service was really good and we was a party of 30+. staff was polite and couldn't do enough to make sure we had everything we needed, the food was amazing, portions are big we was stuffed ❤️ Thank u

We are visiting my wife's parents who have always lived in Uttoxeter. We come in from Canada 1 to 3 times a year for the last 20 years or so. Got tempted to visit this place for the first time by the sign/menu in the window with Breakfast served till 4pm. The food was spectacular. We have wasted good money and time on so many other places in the area that have more tourist appeal. Defiantly the beast English Breakfast hit that my wife and I have ever had in all our visits to England!
