Great restaurant, brings a different atmosphere to wombourne. Both the owner and the host were lovely and seemed to genuinely enjoy being there, the food was amazing and fresh (you could tell it was made with passion).

Christmas day 2024. The first time we attended the restaurant was in June this year. The staff, food and service was EXCELLENT!. The staff were courteous, we'll mannered and NOTHING was too much trouble. Because of this we booked our Christmas day meal there. Today ( Christmas day) was a MAGNIFICENT experience. We opted for the 3pm sitting and the high standards of service, food and professialism was perfect. The staff worked so hard and none stop. Even though the restaurant was completely full, the service was still excellent. WELL DONE to ALL of the staff and a HUGE THANK YOU for making our Christmas day perfect. Merry Christmas and a happy new year to you all. Terry and Jane Mack.

I used to go here weekly for my family and it was consistently good. We didn’t always have fish however the food and service was great. Over the last couple of years it’s been hit and miss- the service is always excellent, friendly and efficient. The time before last was good, the time before that was bad, both the fish and chips weren’t good at all. Last nights meal was 2 mini fish and chip specials for £16.50. The batter was too thick and the fish was grey and barely a slither. There’s little value for money there so I won’t be going back as it’s too inconsistent. It’s shame as I really value good service.

The Old Bush is a very welcoming local pub. If you want a simple but effective model of a pub with great real ales, excellent atmosphere and superb tasty, crusty cobs then this is the place for you. Debs is a wonderful landlady and her staff, especially Lucy, are a credit to the pub and the Black Country Ales brand. This is the best pub in the village in my opinion, an old fashioned pub with a modern twist- air conditioning- lovely when it gets too hot. The locally sourced, freshly baked cobs and fillings that overflow along with freshly baked sausage rolls and pork pies from a local butcher makes it a Black Country love affair.
