All I can say is fantastic service and fantastic food. This is the pub you all wish for in your home village. Great beer choice Great menu and great value Staff with a smile Food is homely and country pub quality When we come to Alton Towers next year we will be back

Tucked away and unassuming, but go inside and it’s immaculate and the staff are just so wonderful. We were made to feel very welcome. The bacon, Brie and cranberry toastie came with a salad garnish and a pot of coleslaw and was absolutely beautiful. Treat yourself. The cakes looked beautiful.

Nice ambience 2 log burners, great food and great service. Well recommended

Stopped off here on a long drive, short diversion off A50. Excellent Sunday lunch, good selection of choice of roast and portions were generous. the Yorkshire pud was seriously impressive. Staff friendly and helpful. Good value for money for roast and dessert. Venue was clearly popular with many tables reserved so probably best to book or ring ahead to check availability

Food wasn’t cooked asked for a refund from the place I ordered from and got this back “All of our Restaurant Partners have their own recipes and cook in an individual style, so the taste, smell and portion size of a dish can vary depending on where you order it.” I’m honestly disgusted in the way my food arrived sausages half cooked and mushrooms that hadn’t even seen a frying pan in their life. Utterly disgusting the fact they think it’s acceptable to let food leave the restaurant the way it did! AVOID AT ALL COSTS!!

Nothing to fault, exept its absolutely freezing in there, went in on a couple of ocassions last week when it was -3° and there was no fire lit, so drank up and came home, 😠

I love everything about this pub, the staff, the atmosphere, the food, the customers! Everyone is so friendly and in a short time I have made lots of new friends. The landlady puts her heart and soul into the pub and ensures everyone has a good time. As a female I feel completely safe going into this pub alone!

As a 30 year customer this is the last straw, honestly can’t believe the drastic price hike and the standard change, tried to order via Foodhub first, £23.35, order rejected, called up and they said Foodhub down, same order over the phone now costing £32. Hungry and just fancied a Chandi, what an awful meal, tikka was sauce and chicken, everything else missing, we said no cream but clearly was put on by mistake then mixed in. Balti was so sweet even the kids said that it was sweet, Keema naan just broke up into tiny pieces and much much smaller than usual. Second time now the quality has been bad but price and quality has really put us off after 30 years custom.

Our new favourite takeaway since moving to Blythe Bridge. From burgers to pizzas and the most amazing curries, we haven’t been disappointed yet. Tonight we were sent a lamb tikka balti instead of a lamb tikka masala by mistake (New Year’s Eve so understandably busy) but they sent a fresh one out within 10 minutes, which arrived still piping hot! Excellent service, excellent food and excellent value for money. One of the nicest curries we’ve ever had! 5*

I have worked 22 years in catering. 5 star hotels, Michelin rosette, 2 steak houses and meny more. I can say the tomahawk they do is the best steak I have had in years! Amazing! We are not local, we will be going back!

Best spare ribs in Stoke on Trent, tried most in the area and these can’t be beaten. Highly recommended with no qualms

i came here with my family for my birthday as we are staying somewhere nearby, the staff were really efficient with orders and really friendly. inside is very spacious and modern. would definitely come back.

Chips tasted like they had been reheated several times, sausage wasn’t cooked!!! Man very rude, and lady serving needed to wash her hands!!!! Short changed us too! Will defo not be going back
