Attended six towns today and i was disappointed as I paid for a double sausage mushroom and egg oatcake and to my surprise when I got home did not have sausage in the oatcake. I would normally understand when it is busy that mistakes happen but there was literally only one other person who was being served next to me and 3 staff members. Unfortunately I did not fancy the drive back to complain and made do with what was recieved.

Super quality food all cooked fresh at very reasonable prices. generally with great service but after a recent visit I was a little nonplussed with the insistence of putting my food in a non recyclable tray! I asked for my food to be just wrapped in paper as I do at the other chip shops that I use, without any fuss. But here they insisted that it must be in the tray. I pointed out about current worries on recycling but surprisingly they weren’t interested. Disappointing.

Went for New Year. Whilst the staff were run off their feet and I may have spoken a little out of turn due to being frustrated with the buffet, the staff/owner attitude was awful. I heard multiple people had complained about the buffet. When an additional plate of food was delivered to the table, it was just thrown on the table. No apology or customer service skills. I was then refused a drink as I was caught having banter with the next table by throwing some cake wrappers/raffle tickets...the other guests were having a laugh and going along with me. I like to be fair and balanced on my reviews and understand that pubs are going through a tough time, which I attempted to show this understanding when discussing with the staff. Whilst I probably wouldn't be welcome back to the pub, I wouldn't want to return. The owners and staff need to take feedback and not become so defensive.

Why is this place closed? We have loads of takeaways and this place is one of the best imo....im a fussy eater but their kebab boxes were to die for 5 stars plus

Absolute disaster at first we called for a reservation and the lad spoke to us with no manners at all and then the restaurant and the service wasn’t any different!

Lovely, friendly girl dropped off a perfect breakfast in excellent time! Lovely tasty food and incredibly hot and well packed! Will definitely be using Grillaz again!
