Good chips and fast service, did not try the fish

We had our annual family gathering here today first time using this pub since being taken over by new people the food we had was superb but sadly it took so long to come to us also the bar lady said she would come and take our order as there was 23 of us but she didn’t do we went up to bar individually to order she only gave us 2 menus I think they really ought to think about having more staff sadly we won’t be going back because of how long it took for meals to come out

Second visit to The Ark in the new location. Decor is classy and inviting. A great atmosphere. Staff look dashing in their fabulous new uniforms. Friendly welcome from Rayes and his team, including a few new faces. Plenty of choice on the main menu and a separate steak menu. Ordered from the main menu and food was nicely presented on eye-catching tableware. Everything was very tasty. Service was excellent, a bit slower than usual, but the restaurant was packed and we weren't in a hurry.

What can I say... came here for a work event. From the outside the hotel looks really nice. Easy to get to, a lot of parking, friendly staff. The room however.. absolutely horrendous. No soundproofing at all. I could hear what the room next to me and opposite were saying loud and clear. You can hear the hallway the whole time. The sleep I had was such a rubbish sleep. Could not sleep due to the electric key fob making a sound the whole night which kept me up. The bed was not comfortable at all. I think this is the worst hotel I've been to. This has surpassed Best Western Hotel in Antalya. As well as this, my bedsheets had some weird yellow stain on them. The bathroom lights look like they were done by some cowboy builders. One of the bathroom lights is not fitted properly...

Wanted to give this place a chance. Popped down at 6.30pm on a Friday night. Not too busy but the staff were incapable of serving. Totally out of their depth, inefficient and lack of prep. After waiting 25 minutes, decided to leave as there was no movement with the queue.

The meals were hot and delicious, friendly staff and short wait. We had the meals here and we never regret coming here. Keep up the good work!

MANAGER REFUSED To served US …. Yesterday around lunch time my friend and I decided to visited the pub it was busy and a sign saying only served food for previously booked tables. Staff approach a very polite young man and explained this to us ; it’s ok we only want to catch up and have one drink ,he proceeded to tell me we can seat . From behind the bar a man started yelling the we can seat because all was booking I tell we not want food and the tables on the bar side are no signed reservations. The manager completed REFUSED TO SERVED US notice we are not previously intoxicated or dress break any dress code . He tells the tables are not for us literally in front of everybody. I keep tell him I local and visited the pub for years and I not the service police of the pub . Sadly and very sorry to said the manager of The green man in Kenilworth was not professional at old and in my eyes Racist . Shame of him . I will write a google ,trip advisor and in every local FB page reviewing the pub and about the incident be cause this kind of action can’t be tolerate . Thanks in advance .

Very tasty fish and chips with a lovely sitting place, made always fresh 🙂

Avoid!!! Saturday night came with friends and tried this Restaurant we have been waiting for a few minutes and called the staff to come to serve us, but the food was awful without any service.

Food turned up after 2 hour 10 minutes wait, was originally 45 minutes wait, phone is permanently engaged, shocking service.
