The best restaurants in Penn Wolverhampton West Midlands

My husband and I have seen queues outside Dukes for a while now and so we went to see what all the fuss was about. Well had a really lovely lunch - my husband had a sandwich made up of just what he fancied in it whilst I had the veggie bhaji wrap. Both were full of flavour, succulent and just really yummy! The latte was lovely too. We will be visiting afraid soon I’m sure

Chicken tenders were really juicy and delicious Crispy cod was fantastic deffo recommended this. Me pic with the owner what a lovely man. Don't delay eat today

El servicio y los precios en este restaurante lamentablemente lo decepcionaron. Con más de una hora antes de recibir nuestra comida, y otra hora antes de que llegara la red, estuvimos en el restaurante dos horas y media durante dos platos, y tuvimos que pedir contenedores para llevar ya que se nos acabó el tiempo. También nos cobraron casi 10 libras por un solo aguardiente y mezclador, que parecía muy caro! Así que desconfiaría de qué bebidas pides si te sientas. Y como estábamos en la era de los restaurantes terminamos gastando una fortuna sin saberlo. Como disculpa por el tiempo esperado, nos ofrecieron un 10% de descuento en la factura de la comida. Pero ni siquiera cubrió dos copas. La comida es un poco más cara también que el indio promedio por aquí, pero la comida siempre es agradable, así que ese lado estaba bien.

Staff were very welcoming, and I had the most delicious, and very reasonably priced, burger! I was quite comfortable sitting in a corner, working for a couple of hours, keeping topped up on soft drinks without having to spend silly amounts.

Good chill spot nice outdoor area free to smoke or non smoke

Just like to start by saying that the young lady who served us did the best she could with she was given, So I thank her for that . Firstly ordered a burger which I couldn’t have as they had run out of burger buns. What I did order came out cold and was a tiny wrap. When it was time to leave it took over 15 mins for an iPad charged for them to take card payments. No manager on site so we would have had to have waited even longer just to put in a complaint. All in all a bad experience sadly and won’t be going there again. That was my experience but by all means take your own chances with the place.

A proper Cafe!! Friendly staff, great value and the breakfast was excellent quality. Varied menu but the full English was hard to resist.

Buena comida, nunca decepciona. A la familia le encanta este restaurante ya que la comida es genial y el personal amable. Probablemente uno de los restaurantes más consistentes en los que he estado. Muy recomendable.

Incredibly rude staff! Went in to order our food and as we only ordered vegetable dishes the lady asked if we were vegetarian. Upon replying yes, she leaned over the counter, looked my partner up and down and said “but I thought vegetarians were supposed to be thin” I can’t understand why she thought this was an appropriate thing to say to a customer. Absolutely will not be going back, rude people don’t deserve our business!

¡No priorizan a los clientes que entran en la tienda de chips! Yo era el único cliente esperando y la señora tomó mi pedido y luego continuó haciendo otra cosa. Un hombre vino tras de mí y pidió solo una porción de patatas fritas y se quedó esperando también. Mientras tanto, las órdenes de comer se acumulaban y se estaban haciendo. Wow! De hecho, me sentía como un ciudadano de segunda clase porque me había bajado de mi trasero y había entrado en la tienda. Votaré con mis pies ahora y no volveré a visitarlo.

Gran servicio una vez más, de todo el equipo. 106 mini fish and chips proporcionados a tiempo y todo muy caliente. No sabemos cómo lo hacen, pero estamos muy agradecidos, como siempre. Bien hecho a todo el equipo, gracias.
