No complaints at all, best pizza I've personally had from a takeaway in Bolton.

Absolutely shocking service, never order from them again, delivery a joke, and when you call them they don’t care, they are happy to receive a negative review despite being 30 mins late for delivery, food was cold too. If it had a 0 star ⭐ I would have done that and not even given a 1⭐️

Unbelievable this place ordered 2 spicy burgers its like they have had them there for a week had to throw in the bin thats how raw it was council need to investigate on this place bang out of order

Been to this place 3 times for pizza its always uncooked once given me wrong order nd was just complaining me that i took wrong order even this old women kept staring at me nd my girl.. fried food has too much oil totally waste of money.

Standard has dropped since owners changed hands twice been coming here for over 20years since it first opened, today all the food was absolutely disgusting

Terrible! Avoid like the plague. Delivery driver didnt have a clue how to use his sat nav to find our place. The pizza was cold and burnt. The fries were 100% reheated, they could easily have been yesterdays unsold fries. Tasted disgusting. Spicy chicken burger had no spicy sauce and no cheese, despite showing it with a cheese slice in the pictures. On top of all this, they continue to sell pepsi and coca cola, despite their links with the terrible events in the middle east and despite multiple requests to ask them to stop. Also, according to the Food Standards Agency, the hygiene rating of this disaster of a place is 2 out of 5 'improvement neccessary'. Leave well alone

Bolton Council & Food Hygiene Authority must take immediate and decisive action against this business. I recently ordered food from them, and what I received was utterly appalling. The fries appeared to be frozen and barely fried, dripping with oil and grease—far from anything edible. They were not fries but hardened sticks that no reasonable person could consume. My friend and I are now suffering from severe stomach pain, raising serious concerns about the hygiene and food preparation standards at this establishment. To make matters worse, the staff is entirely unprofessional. There are three female staff members who barely understand English and are unable to even name the dishes on the menu. It’s shocking that they have been appointed to customer service roles. This complete lack of basic communication skills only adds to the frustration and raises questions about the management’s hiring standards. This is not just disappointing; it’s dangerous, especially for children. I strongly urge everyone to avoid this takeaway and protect your health. Bolton Council, please investigate this matter urgently before someone faces an even more serious health issue.

I want to the grand opening of this place circa 01. I used to get 7" meal deal with 2 toppings, fries and a coke or pepsi for £1.99 every day for my lunch from August 02-September 04. I recommend the stuffed crust and the spicy wings, but everything is great tbh. I think I got appendicitis from a spicy chicken fillet burger in 01 but I don't hold it against this place.

not good pizza. chiken had weird smell. i was going to burgerbox then decided to go Ala pizza. Regretting decision.

We visit A'la pizza once a month with friends, and its been consistently good for years, and great value. highly recommended.

Uber Delivery driver Good Service

Delivery driver came to deliver and left his phone on top of an order. Told him here’s your phone and then I realised I was given the wrong order after he left. Phoned the store and the delivery driver came and swapped it for me but forgot to give drinks. Phoned store who seemed to be cursing at driver and assured me my drinks would come but never did. Just poor service all round and wouldn’t order from here again unfortunately. It’s a shame how far downhill this establishment has gone.

This used to be amazing used to get my food in under a hour. Since these girls the new workers on the phone (barely can speak English) orders have been messed up, orders taking to long and wrong phone number been put on order so driver can’t call us. Ordered today still waiting for my food a hour and a half still have not receive it. Called the worker says they’re calling the driver never calls back. This is very poor. How can you have people on the phones who can’t speak English and mess up orders 9/10 times. Like I said this used to be amazing delivery times getting my food in half a hour.

can’t get orders right to save their life. ordered a DONNER MEAT and chips with MAYO and NO SALAD (the capitalised details are important later) first time, was given a CHICKEN TANDOORI instead of the donner so decided to order again, see if they can get an order right given 2 chances and the second time they put salad on it and forgot the mayo it’s almost as if there’s a thing with the order on it with all the details of the order on it, perhaps reading it would be helpful in preventing future negative reviews.

charges £7.40 for 2 7 inch pizza meals but £9 for only 2 pizzas absolutely ridiculous, waiting in there for 20 mins after ringing up in advance as everyone else gets served and given their food

Pizza was stale and the chicken was dry. Shame as this place used to be amazing.

Updated review - as I've used afew times, delivery drivers charge extra for themselves when they arrive. Even after confirming with takeaway via phone the actual price of order including delivery. Not good and Not professional. No business ethics. Leaflet has gone in the bin, simply because of this.

Wow this isn’t the ala pizza I remember, chewy pizza, burnt chicken toppings, refried fries. Was asked what my order was by several different staff, found a hair underneath the cheese in the pizza. Asked for chilli’s and it was in chunks. Disgusting and never going back here again.

Worst takeaway in the world, after we eat from here all my family get poisoned, vomit 🤢, if you care of your health, don't eat here

They told me 15 mins on the phone and waited 55 min inside for it. If you in a hurry go to chicken bites opposite site faster cheaper and better taste.

Since it’s been taken over I assume by new management the food is not the same especially the 9/12 inch pizza. Toppings all come off whilst eating. Not impressed that they are still selling Coke and Pepsi and should be another alternative for customers who are boycotting them company soft drinks! Barr is an alternative? Therefore I have had to pay an extra 40p per can on top of my order as I didn’t want to purchase coke or Pepsi. Please get this sorted!! Other takeouts have taken them drinks off the menu so it is doable.

Ordered 2 meat pizzas and woke up with an upset stomach (possibly food poisoning). And, in my opinion, the price of the pizzas are too high for the terrible quality :( Should’ve trusted the review before mine :(

Avoid at all circumstances food quality is horrible and also tastes awful cold and soggy also gives food poisoning and also cannot get a refund back too as ordered from uber eats and they saying cannot do anything about it also fuming!!!!!

I had to change my review, just ordered the giant fillet burger and found metal strands under the fillet, it was literally metal shavings, luckily I always check before I eat, these wernt small metal strands either, 3 long pieces of thin metal, this could of been really dangerous if I had eaten them To add insult the replacement had the wrong fillet on and a stale bun, it went in the bin. Will not be returning

BE CARFUL THE DELIVERY DRIVER TAKE EXTRA MONEY FOR DELIVERY. MY bill was £24.10 and the driver asked for for £25.10 saying they forgot to charge you for delivery and I'll only charge you a pound extra but it should be more, because you are over 3 miles which is not the truth, i am only 2.6 miles away from the takeaway. I ordered and was told 45min to 1 hr. The food was 30 minutes late. The 2 bags of chips for £5.40 wow and had to pay for tubs of sauce. Was expecting hot food, but it looks like the driver had so many drops before mine, and by the time I got my food, it was not hot, just soggy. We had 2 pizzas, 2 chips, 1 drink and 6 wings. I ordered green chillies and onions on my Donner. I specifically said I didn't want any sauces....they ignored me completely and gave me what they wanted me to have....I spoke to manageress who wanted me to go back there and wouldn't deliver my replacement just up the road.... This place has completely lost their quality lately....I won't be going there again. Monkeys could give better service!!!

Food ordered through Uber Eats. they accepted the order. payment gone through, estimated time and order status updated and after 15 min, they cancelled it. kept ringing them but nobody picked up the phone. no food arrived, no payment refunded, no contact.

They don't understand what "No sauce" means, ruined my kebab with chilli sauce and mayo, I don't like either of them. Incompetent fools. This was a walk in order not phone call or delivery

One of the worst place I had ever ordered with. They never delivered the food on time and even they delivered they delivered half. And they don't have manners to talk with customers. Suggest not to order from here.

Placed an order for collection which was taken quite smoothly. All was well until I actually entered the shop. Chairs all over the place, bits of food and not one worker took any notice. Gentleman that dealt with me wouldn’t look at me when serving or when taking payment. All workers seemed preoccupied with their own conversations rather than focusing on the customers in their shop. Went on to find out they hadn’t followed simple instructions/requests when placing the order which is disappointing to say the least, given that I had placed a rather large order. The A’la Pizza of old has now become a shell of itself. Very poor all round which is quite a shame in comparison to previous visits.

Absolutely shocking been going this takeaway since a young lad and I rung up tonight to get my regular order of 9”pizza meal and 6 spice wings to literally have the phone put down on me and for them to answer and just leave me sat there for 5 minutes waiting absolutely shocking customer service and have lost a loyal customer of years.

I tried them first time and they are good. Most of the people are complaining about cold food and delivery times etc which is why this takeaway’s rating is low. I always recommend people to collect your food if possible. Money wise prices are little above average, taste is great and pizza meals are not good as you can choose only 2 toppings. Otherwise all is good 😊

Waiting 1 and 1/2 hours for delivery when they said 30 minutes, terrible service don’t recommend this place.

Ok food and fair prices and a good range of menu choice with several offers. Service generally quick however I imagine it will get very busy here at times. Most food appears to have been cooked awaiting orders hence the quick service however I imagine food turnover will be quick here so I doubt items are kept too long. A couple of price rises recently but still value for money.

Would give zero but won't allow me,should have just eaten raw flour,cheap tinned tomatoes and rancid cheese,probably would have tasted better.I would advise you to avoid or give your money to charity and eat a cardboard box.Good effort guys well done!

This takeaway is very poor on customer service and NO GOOD value for money, kids meal...which should have 5 chicken nuggets and chips only came with 2 nuggets!!! On their marketing materials they advertise different to what they actually give you...feel like i been robbed of £12 for two kids meals with only 4nuggets....and the cheesburger meal was missing!!

Food always comes cold and the driver argues with you even though theyre the ones who got the order wrong. Chips are stale and pizzas like rubber. Customer service is rubbish.
