Full of black people ,asylum seekers, refugees etc. Northallerton is now ruined !

Hotel closed the day we checked out

Souless, leaking toilet and nobody was really bothered when it was reported.

food was a discrace come freezing ,couldn’t chew the meat i needed an axsaw to cut it , i was i’ll after the food

Sunday carvery is up and running again and is well worth a visit.

Attended a business seminar, good food and attentive staff.

Went to meeting service very good easy to find location. Never used any rooms but all other facilities very good.

Room conditions poor. No hot water at all for 48 hours. Checked out early. Unable to wash / use facilities. Staff knew of problem but decided not to tell guests prior. Recent theme with customers arriving with no hot water by previous reviews.

It's generally a nice place, the service is good and the staff are friendly, quick to respond to customers requests.

Would have given all 5s but was disappointed restaurant was closed weekend evenings.

Stayed for 3 nights, staff were great but the rooms left much to be desired. The bathroom had a bubbly lyno floor which was filthy and lifting round the edges , a bath panel that was ancient plywood and falling off , dirty shower curtain and splashes of goodness only knows what up the door and skirting boards. The carpet in the room had stains all over it and more splashes of who knows what up the wall. The whole room was worn out and uninviting. There is only one positive to this hotel and that was the staff who were very helpful. I wouldn’t recommend staying here!

Having read the review of the wedding on 14th August I am not surprised. We spent the night of Friday 13th in the same hotel and it was abysmal. We can concur that there was no draught beers on Friday night in the bar. A member of staff had been to a supermarket and loaded his car with bottled beers. There was a disturbance at 3.15am in a room above that lasted approximately an hour. We eventually called reception and we were told the culprits had been asked to leave the hotel. However at 6am one of the culprits was back shouting up to the room from outside our window. When I told reception the next morning the guy on reception said he didn’t know about it despite the fact that later on he admitted that he had been told. When I asked for contact details of the parent company I was told that they were not permitted to give them to us. To cap it all when we woke on Saturday morning there was a vile smell in the bathroom akin to blocked sewers. We have used this hotel for 10/11 years at various times of the year and have always enjoyed our stays there. I don’t think we will be returning. I sent a letter to the CEO who passed it on to Nikki Watson - Cluster General Manager. She emailed to ask for my mobile number so she could speak to me. So far she has not made contact!! This company seems hell bent on destroying the reputation of this Hotel. My deepest sympathies lie with the bride and groom for having their special day spoiled.

Had a very nice two night stay here. Rooms very comfortable and very clean, food was lovely, staff very friendly, Large lounge bar, outside seating, nice spaced out breakfast room, could have meal in bar area if not wanted to eat in dining rooms.

Bad quality food at hotel prices. Full English breakfast not appealing on the eye or pallet. Waiters deliver Prosecco with the cork still on the bottle.
