Olive Tree Cafe & Restaurant in Hambleton

Although nothing awful here (relatively clean except for food remnants left on tables for long periods of time), nothing stood out. The prices are high I think because it is convenient if you are staying at the park. I can't fault the accommodations here though, just give the little restaurant area a miss. Took the kids to the arcade...Change machine wasn't working and the girls at the desk didn't have any change. It didn't spoil our day as we just jumped in the car and went travelling to all the beautiful places a short drive away. Tried the cafe again for chips and milkshake...nothing wrong with them at all, just a bit pricey for what they were. Accommodation and location made up for the standard cafe/bar/amusements experience.

Nice facilities and kept clean. Pricing of food and drinks are quite expensive for what they are. Opening times are limited and not suitable for holiday goers. Staff not overly overenthusiastic and not very welcoming. My pregnant wife was denied a glass of water at one point, being told it was for customers only even though we had made purchases and have paid to stay at the park. This was the let down of our holiday.

Stopped off for cuppa and a bacon butty. Looks a lovely spot. Friendly staff and a nice cuppa and roll. Will return.

Dairy free pizza with chicken ordered. The chicken was inedible and like eating rocks. The cheese was cheese slices, looked and taste like absolute garbage. Even the flies avoided landing on it. Avoid the food, so poor.

Rubbish quality and very over priced food. Not quite sure how they've priced this food up but I would definitely just drive down to tesco and go in the cafe there, its about 2 mins down the road l, half the price and 10 times the quality. Do your selves a favour and avoid this place. Blonde woman behind counter is completely expressionless.

Great little location for a lunch. Called on the off chance while we were in Carlton Miniott and got 2 lovely baked panini & drinks. Beautiful setting, relaxed atmosphere & food cooked to order.

Staff were friendly and helpful, coffee was hot and tasty.

It's ok for a pit stop, we use it.when taking the kids swimming, Grandma can chill with a coffee and a book whilst we go for a dip. They have a limited offering but the food is all freshly prepared. It's a little pricey, but what isn't these days... After a swim you can get a drink from the reception area, juice for the kids or a good selection of beer 🍻 for the ladies and gentlemen. Or a coffee ☕/tea/herbal tea, and a plate of salty chips. Toilets 🚻 are clean and close to the dining area. There is a free monkey/jungle soft play area that keeps the kids busy for 30 (chill time for the parents, whilst the food is prepared 🤩

Expensive and terrible service. We ordered 4 hot drinks and fruit scones, after waiting 15minutes we got the scones and waited another 15minutes for the drinks. There was no clotted cream left so they substituted for tasteless squirty cream which just wasn't the same. Wouldn't have ordered if they'd told me at time of ordering. Staying on the site but would rather drive off for better service

Beautiful building, in the right hands it could become the lifeblood of the park... Today however there was no food, expensive coffee, very very poor effort... £3.50 for a latte.... that has to be £3.45 profit. I recieved 1/3 liquid and 2/3 froth. Very arrogant feel to the place. Unless something dramatic happens to this place you'd be better off saving your money. On a positive note it was a beautiful day, very sunny. Stay safe people.
