AMICI Lounge in City of London, Westminster

Lovely place In Soho with live music and live entrataiment. Being Italian I was looking for a genuine Italian place where to grab a bite after shopping and I was not disappointed. I had a pizza which was soft and cheesy and some calamari the best I had so far in London, the Chef is from Sardinia so I appreciate genuine cuisine, my boyfriend opted for the chicken which was spicy and super tasty ! The service was personable and attentive , we were also offered a welcome fruity shot which I never seen before in London before. I was a bit sceptical after reading the lengthy negative review but I can easy say if you are into Italian genuine food opt for Amici. The cocktail are really well made and there is some samba dancers , dj and a Saxophonist too! If you want a fun evening with good booze , nice Italian food and get looked after go for it! Service was amazing we paid it and left a tip too ! Grazie mille Amici.

PICTURES ARE DECEIVING. These reviews must either be paid for, or we visited a completely different restaurant to all these people. What an awful experience. I had booked a table for 10 for a surprise birthday dinner for my wife but it turned out to be one of the worst dining experiences we’ve ever had. • Here are 4 reasons why: 1. Once you walk down the stairs, the venue looks like you’re dining somewhere in the red light district, dark, ambient red/purple lighting and extremely claustrophobic. 2. Pushy-ness from staff to order alcoholic beverages. Admittedly, none of our group on this occasion were Muslim, but if that were the case, the attitude of the staff would have been deemed very disrespectful. We were almost frowned upon for not purchasing alcohol. 3. If the service isn’t good in restaurants, the food often comes to the rescue… sadly not here. Probably the worst pizza any of us had ever eaten in our lives. It was rock hard, flavourless and made Tesco’s value brand pizza look and taste Michelin Star-Esque. We asked why this was the case and got told ‘we don’t stone bake it, we oven bake’… well sir, I can tell you for fact I’ve had many an oven baked pizza in my life but nothing as dry or tasteless as the ‘Margherita’ you served us. The penne (green sauce) pasta… inedible. No salt, tasted like spinach. Again, hideous. 4. When we came to pay the bill, the staff tried to impose a minimum charge was £50 pp which I disputed as in my booking confirmation, there was no mentioned of a minimum cost per head. The absolute cheek to try and impose that cost on us… needless to say we did not pay that, nor did we pay a service charge. I would never recommend this restaurant to anyone, and no I am not interested in discussing with you so please do not ask me to email or call you. Merry Christmas

Fantastic atmosphere, with amazing food and drinks. We enjoyed our experience at Amici so much, and the staff were 10/10 - super friendly, fun and helpful. I would definitely recommend this place to anyone looking for a nice dinner experience in London 🥰

I didn’t eat much but what I had, drinks and service was great from all staff especially Maria/Mama. If you do want to order shisha it’s electric!

It was such a lovely experience. Everyone there is SO sweet and and welcoming and the vibe is absolutely immaculate. The food is exceptional, tasted really good, and doing shisha just felt like a different experience in itself. Would definitely recommend this place and will definitely go again in the future :)

The customer service here is absolutely amazing. There’s a lovely atmosphere while eating and food is great. There was a saxophone player and they serenaded my friend with a lovely song for her birthday. I will definitely recommend for couples and girls night out.

Cosy little restaurant with super friendly staff. Maria and Louana were kind and amazing waitresses! There was also live entertainment with a dancer and musician, overall athmosphere and ambience is great!

Delicious food and Brilliant service and staff is very friendly and courteous. Particularly Maria is such a brilliant manager in a restaurant. We celebrated our daughter’s 21st Birthday and experience was memorable.

A tourist must stop! The ambience was suitable for any type of night from a girls night out or a cute date night! The staff was absolutely lovely, accommodating, and attentive. The mojito (not pictured) was one of the best I’ve had. Maria is a badass and I would come back solely just to hang out with her.

I very much enjoyed this experience! The menu for the food was spectacular! The pizza was nice and cheesy, the fries were seasoned perfectly, and the arancini was something I’ll definitely have again! Thanks so much for the hospitality! Will definitely come back again!

The waitresses were super charming and lovely and the food and wine were delicious. But portions are small and prices are high so we had to be careful what we ordered. Definitely a special place but not if you are on a budget! It did feel a bit pushy (in the most charming way!) which meant you could easily end up with a big bill. So I’ve given 4 rather than 5 stars to reflect that.

Amici is the perfect spot in SoHo for dinner or drinks. The food is filling and of great taste, the staff is attentive and the live music adds the right flair. I have very much enjoyed my evenings at Amici with friends and can recommend it.

I was invited for dinner at Amici. The food and service was perfect and I had the best time when I was invited to THE LDN REIGN for a party after. Service was great and the hosts and hostesses are lovely and made everyone feel welcome at our table. Nice vibe in there too and live music which was a great touch

I visited Amici’s on Wednesday with a group of friends and we genuinely had an amazing time. The atmosphere was unmatched, with entertainment all night and never dull. The servers went above annd beyond and super friendly, even gave us a hug at the end. We will definitely be back and recommending to all my friends.

Went here last night on a Thursday night. Had a dj and saxophone player which was amazing and fun. The atmosphere was great with lovely cool people. Great food, and some great vegetarian options. Can’t wait to come back!!

FOOD is amazing!! (and I am a very picky eater usually) the Bruschetta was a lovely twist and they had a crunchy mozzarella ball which had me and my friend debating on who got the last one!!! staff is attentive and kind and welcoming, entertainment had me remembering my dayd as a child watching the Carnival in Brazil- a beautiful dancer stunned us with her samba! An amazing saxophone player joins later in the night adding jaee aesthetic to the dj songs! A night to remember wil be coming back wth all my friends!!
