Antepliler Kunefe in Haringey

I can’t recommend Antepliler enough if you’re a fan of Turkish desserts. Their künefe was out of this world—crispy on the outside, soft and cheesy on the inside, and perfectly sweet with the syrup. It was served hot and fresh, just the way it should be. A true masterpiece!

Künefe is good, that is ok. But the problem is drinks. After desert you want to drink tea or water usually. Small tea and small water is 2 GBP that is incredibley expensive. If you want to go there bring your water and tea with you.

The worst ever was the manager bad manners attitude towards us was rude rushing about I’ll never go back and recommending this place

We went there with friends and enjoyed the desserts, sweets and ice cream. They offer good quality—an accessible place.

Waiter asked us to order quickly before it gets busy. So we decided fast and were served slowly some of the items arriving when we had almost finished, despite reminding the waiter 4 times. With all the similar restaurants in Green Lane with similar food why not eat somewhere else.

I have been visiting the Antepliler Kunefe from last 6-7 years. Staff behaviour is always cold and rude but still comes as they have good Kunefe to serve Visited recently and was shocked with their behaviour and so called policy of eating Kunefe as per the number of people in the party. I have two young kids who are not very found of Kunefe, i did mention that i have been visiting this place from many years and never had this issue that i have to atleast order two. As kids do not like it and Kunefe is something which many people dont like due to extra sugar and amount of cheese But two of the waitresses refused to understand. They were not very busy and had many empty seats still they were insisting that no this is a policy. I asked since when you had this policy as no one ever mentioned this and i always ordered one portion only. Before us they forced another family to order three portions and their kids were feeling sick as they were forcefully eat it as they did not have any other option to eat as it was ordered and paid for. They were also very disappointed and clearly mentioned to staff which i also did that i will never be visiting again. I will make sure i take this to the next level with trading standards as it is not acceptable, i can understands restaurants have policies regarding the dishes, amount people can order etc but they are clearly communicated in written format not verbally Will not recommend to anyone to go their as staff is very rude, cold and have no smile and appreciation towards their customers

We went there with my friends and ordered kunafa. The cheese was spoiled, and we couldn't eat it. Then we told them about the cheese, but they didn’t do anything about it even at the end of the day they charged extra money. When my friend called about it, they were rude and hung up the phone. I will never go there again. We were so disappointed!

We had the worst experience today. My friends and I ordered Kunefe, and it was a disaster. The cheese in it tasted weird. When we kindly informed the staff they didn’t even care and blamed it on us. They even charged us for an extra tea. When we realized it, we called the restaurant, and the rude lady there told us it wasn’t her problem and she wasn’t the one who needed to know what we had and ordered. Then she hung up on us. The staff and the manager were very rude.

If I had a chance I would give zero stars for this place. First of all the kunafah’s cheese was spoiled. It smelled and tasted weird. Even if we told this to the staff, they were so rude. They didn’t answer kindly, they refused it. Then they charged us for an extra fee. When we asked about it, they were again so rude. They hung up the phone on us. They were so mean and accused us of being cheap even if they charged us extra. They didn’t even accept this mistake. It was the worst experience.

Today, I went out to eat kunafa with my friends. We found the taste of the cheese strange, so we called the waiter to inform her of the issue. Even though the manager was present, he did not take any action. Finally, when I mentioned this problem again to the cashier, they reacted very poorly and even charged me extra. When I called on the phone later, I received a response like 'how am I supposed to know what you ordered, you should have known yourself,' and the call was abruptly ended. I called again and spoke with their manager. He turned out to be even worse than their employees. He claimed we had already finished the kunafa when we complained, but our plates were still there. I have never witnessed such behavior from an establishment or its employees, it's a DISGRACE.

One word fantastic Kubera ever👌 Fan of Turkish food. And this one was amazing. They make it in front of you fresh and delicious. I already want to go back there.

This place used to be the one of the best. Now is the worst. Desert was undercooked and when we returned waiter at the till she was so rude. Didn’t accept the criticism. Would never go back there or any of their other branches. They really need to get their Customer Service sorted.

Their manager doesn't accept scottish money what I don't understand is how scottish money can't be valid in England is it legal?

This place used to be one of the best one but now it’s the worst place working with kids that they don’t even have experience there was katmer flooding in the syrup work with people that has experience and not underage. Before we always used to come and it used to be the best but now the last couple times ita been worst and waste of money. Tea never comes on time and need to be asked 3/5 times to be able to get it. And waitress is too rude and unprofessional. Feel sorry for this place.

EXPERIENCED THE WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE AT THIS PLACE. we went inside and requested a menu, the FRUSTRATED WAITRESS replied by saying the "menus are printed on the table" as all tables were full, i replied that i wouldn't like to disturb or intrude the people eating on the table to move their plates so that i could read the menu which was literally printed ON the table it self, she very rudely responded by saying "well then i can't help you" and she walked off. Then another short man with white hair walked up to us and aggressively questioned us "what do you want?" he blurted. to which we replied " we would like to have a look at the menu please" at which point he said "well go outside and wait for a table" Even after their RUDE ABRUPT BAHAVIOUR we waited outside because my children really wanted the kunefe. After waiting 20 mins of being constantly and blatantly ignored. He seated other people who arrived 15 mins after us, he laughed with them while he spoke to them in Turkish language and walked off without acknowledging we were waiting first. we felt obviously discriminated against and decided to walk away ..... DISGUSTING UNACCEPTABLE CONDUCT.... THE CUSTOMER SERVICE AND ATTITUDE OF THE STAFF ABSOLUTLEY STINKS! WE RECOOMEND THAT IF YOU VALUE YOUR SELF RESPECT PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE AVOID THIS PLACE. THEY TREAT CUSTOMERS LIKE DIRT.

Personnel pas très accueillant,j’ai dû répéter 3 fois ma commande et attendre 30 minutes pour me faire servir.c’est déconseillé

it was busy when we visited, but we got a table after about 20 minutes, we ordered kunefe and chay. the kunefe is cooked on order and understandably takes a little while to arrive, approx 25 minutes after seating; in the meantime requested and paid for extra ice cream sides; at this point the poor behaviour and rudeness of one particular server became obvious. Our kunefe was followed by ice cream almost after we had finished, however despite repeated requests for chay, we were ignored without any explantion for a further 30 minutes or so, after which chay arrived. The disdain with which we were ignored and served was not a comfortable customer experience. Sadly the experience left a sour taste, even though the kunefe and chay were good. Çalışan personel telefona bakmaktan müşteri ile ilgilenmiyor sorulan soruyu anlamaktan bile yoksunlar. Cevap vermeye gerekesinim bile duymuyorlar kaçta servisi kapatıp paket servise başlıyorsunuz sorusunun cevabı “şimdi” diyerek veriliyor. Künefe yapan personel telefona bakmaktan künefenin yandığını bile göremiyor aldığımız gibi çöpe attık verdiğim para zehir zıkkım olsun. Böyle insanların hala para kazanabiliyor olmasına çok şaşırıyorum umarım siz bizim yaptığımız hataya düşmezsiniz ve oraya gitmezsiniz.

I've never been discriminated in my life before. My friends and I decided to eat at this place, as we usually go to their other restaurant, Antipillar donner where they have great customer services and are friendly. As soon as we entered, my friend and I placed our orders. We sat down and waited about 20 minutes, and nothing has arrived. Our other friends joined later anf also placed their order, but nothing progressed. The demographic for this place are mostly Turkish people, and the were 4 families that came after us, and were served their food and tea. When we approached the front till, the worker kept on saying "it's coming"... Eventually it came after asking chasing up twice, but only 2 of our desserts (one being the wrong order) and no teas. We ended up leaving without getting our tea. The dessert was nice, but the discrimination at that place is real. They barely acknowledged us. We were mixed of friends, and I was give the benefit of the doubt, but ignorance is there. Also, one of the waitresses tried to stop us entering, so she can go enter first... One word, LOL.

We visited today ( roughly 2 hours ago). I was so frustrated that I couldn't wait to write a review. We ordered kunefe with friends. That was unlucky of me that there was plastic rope about 10 cm in kunefe I have swallowed unconsciously 😖😖😖 I couldn't breathe for some time.🤮 When I told them the rude cashier replied with an ignorance voice "it's is part of kunefe not plastic." Although I showed her and she knew its plastic. I wish I would take a photo of it. They don't know anything about customer services. 😖 And really I want to know if there was a British customer, could they be that much ignorance??? 🤔🤔🤔 I would give 0 star if had chance😡

We visited this restaurant in a large group and as we walked in we thought we would be greeted and shown a table. We weren't shown a table, we just sat down as we got bored of waiting. We didnt have our order taken till we had to go up and ask them to take it. They ignored us on about 5 different occasions and it the end the we couldn't help but laugh at how awful and rude the staff were. Won't be going back.

We visited this restaurant yesterday. Service so late and staff don’t come to our table to ask us about our order we waited for just a lahmacun half an hour. They have never come to ask our table for our check. Staff are so rude. We didn’t want to pay service charge because of all these issues. Although all these issues, foods are good taste. But urgently they need to change their staff.

I absolutely love this cute little dessert restaurant that only serves kunefe in harringay green lanes. My partner and I had ours with ice cream and the bill was around 7 pounds. Be back soon!!

I really liked they’re kunefe. It reminded me the ones I had when I went in Turkey. They’re a bit pricey but I think they’re worth it.

The food and service are great. Bit portions so don’t eat before you go . Friendly atmosphere, I was taken there by my son and his partner for a belated Christmas present.

We came here for eid with my family. The staff is very unorganised, service was extremely slow and we waited 40 minutes for 1 kunefe. But the time the kunefe arrived out teas were very cold. Very disappointed.

If you ever fancy tradition Turkish Kunefe. The best place is Anterpliler Kunefe North London Haringey. This place is tradition Turkish sitting, sort table and stool. Well recommended.

This is a small café dedicated to just selling Konefe – a traditional Turkish dessert with Pistachio filling. The prices are quite high, at £5.50 per portion, although the portion size is more suited to 2. The dessert itself turned out to be extremely average...

I applaud you guys for the fantastic künefe. Keep it up... I havebeen to this placemany timesandhad mostly the special künefe stuffed additionally with pistachios and cheese and it’s always mouthwatering and extremely tasty.

First of all some of the negative reviews here is pure ridiculous especially the first review where he says it’s the only kunefe shop in London hence he still goes there???mate that whole road alone is full of shops that serve this! Everyone knows that!...

Because its the only kunefe in london thats why i am going there.they do it ok but not respectable and i think they made enough money.they dont respect to the customers.

My second visit to Antepliler. This time I wanted explicitly to eat kunefe and it was absolutely worth the driving and the money spent in the shop. Service was great.

The place is nice and the value for what you pay is good. I would recommend sharing Kunafe with someone as the portion is so sweet (still good).

It's fair to say Antepliler Kunefe offers the best Kunefe in London Town! One Kunefe is definitely enough... In fact, you could share one if you don't have a sweet tooth.

This is the only place that you can find kunefe in London. I don't prefer with the cream on top. and actually 1 portıon is enough for 2 people to share. Moreover, the first tea is on the house ;)

It is very heavy. I suggest you divide the one between two people. It is great after a dinner or in one of the winter nights.
