You climb a few flights of stairs to the top. The decor quite quirky and dark. Quite a noisy venue with loud music. Suitable for Gen Z tiktok fan. Food average. Calamari served from Frozen packs. Otherwise a good atmosphere

It use to be good. Not anymore. Food not as good like it used to be to, staff use to be very welcoming previously and now they all look so grumpy and disappointed.

The place is like a dream. Very elegant, very beautiful and has a warm, welcoming atmosphere. The food was amazing and the staff was very friendly and very professional. I highly recommend to visit.

Everything was fantastic food was amazing shisha was great staff were friendly and helpful. Until I got home and realised that I got charged £20 for not showing up to my reservation. A restaurant at this level. My bill was £87.74 I paid £50 cash and the rest £37.74 on my card.

Food was nice, service was not great tho, waited 45 mins for drinks.... atmosphere was chilled , they had a dj playing house not to loud tho. The inside is nice, nice chill place to grab a much. Parking is not great tho, the customer parking was full, cost me £15 to park which you have to consider....

We went to have dinner as a group of 12 people. The order was taken at 7:15pm and the food arrived around 9:05pm, it took 1 hour and 50 minutes. The presentation was disgraceful, only 3 small bowls of bread were brought to 11 people. Orders were undercooked. When it comes to payment, not everyone can pay their own account. Since the book was made as a group, we were asked to pay the accounts of 11 people with a single card. We talked to the Manager about this issue and our request was fulfilled and after 1 hour of effort, the person paid his own bill and left. I would definitely not recommend going as a group. Thanks

We went to this restaurant with my colleagues- food tasted okay but very late so ended up taking away- service -1 we kept waiting for then to bring the bread (stingy) then we got tired and then lost appetite- food it self tastes good but due to the circumstances we couldn’t enjoy any of it. I do love this place had a brilliant time for my birthday. Some of the food wasn't to my taste but that's not saying it isn't nice just wasn't for me. Other then that I epuld always go back.

Had an amazing time here for my birthday. Loved the chilled atmosphere and music, and the food was amazing! We had the sweetest server Claudia who was so welcoming and made the experience so much better.

We had the pleasure of being served by Ali during our visit at Tarshish and the experience was fantastic! They were attentive, friendly, and truly made us feel welcome from the moment we sat down. Ali was knowledgeable about the menu, offered great recommendations, and ensured that everything was perfect throughout our meal. We tried their shisha too, lovely flavours. Their professionalism and warm demeanor made the dining experience extra special. I highly recommend visiting Tarshish and asking for Ali if you want top-notch service. We had gone before last year and everything was amazing but then we came with a big group and they couldn’t handle it. Food was mediocre and service was slow and rude. Don’t go here and expect a good time don’t go here!! The manager coughed in my face! Food was cold! They were not accommodating to a big group!

Had a really disappointing experience at Tarshish. From start to finish, it was a complete letdown. The staff were rude and unprofessional, and at one point, one of them even shouted at me and my friends, which was just shocking. On top of that, the service was an absolute mess. Our main course was completely forgotten and we had to ask a different member of staff to sort it out. After waiting ages, the food finally arrived, but by that point, the mood was already ruined. It was pretty clear the place is understaffed, and the few staff who were working didn’t seem interested in being helpful. The atmosphere didn’t help either. The music was so loud we couldn’t even hear each other speak, so having a proper conversation was impossible. It felt more like being in a club than a restaurant. Overall, this was honestly one of the worst dining experiences I’ve had. Rude staff, forgotten food, slow service, and unbearable noise – it’s not what you expect when you’re paying for a meal out. Wouldn’t recommend it to anyone unless you like being ignored, shouted at, and left waiting for your food. Avoid this place!

The customer service was horrible, food took a while to arrive. We had a birthday cake which we requested to three staff members to bring it to the table, but it never came. Then, one of our friends had to go and bring it over herself with the candle. Not happy at all and wouldn't definitely not recommend this place.

I had fun there because of the people I went with! Regarding the actual restaurant, it looks the part but lacks in customer service eg the waitress serving or table was extremely rude! My food was tasteless and disgusting that I basically spent the night being sick when I got home! I would never go back there if I’m honest they need to relaunch with better food and staff!

Worst dining experience I ever had. Avoid this place at all cost. The waitresses were beyond rude and food was cold and under cooked. They were rolling eyes, and did not respect us. We were a group of 20 girls and not a single of my friend had a positive experience here. One of my friends was sick and throwing up until 2 am after having fish there. Would never ever dine in this pace again. Think 10 times before throwing your money in this disgrace of a restaurant.

So good was mediocre at best. The dips were nice though. Service I would say is probably the worst I’ve ever witnessed in any restaurant in my life. Few of the waitresses literally shouted at my friends when we requested bread, wanted to order a drink etc. The waitresses (2 of them) constantly kept rolling their eyes and taking a very rude tone to paying customers. This is probably due to the waitresses being stretched and understaffed - so it’s definitely due to problem higher up. In the end I asked a different waiter to help us, who asked me to ask the 2 waitresses instead and just redirected me. I got a cake for my friends birthday that I asked them to bring to the table about 5 times - in the end I had to do it myself. Then they’d only take cash payment with large groups (and only two cards - which doesn’t work with a group of 20) which was a tedious experience. My friends all had terrible experiences. The restaurant looks nice, but the music is too loud.

Great food. Nicely presented. Good for a night out. Too loud for me. A DJ was playing a good set of tunes but it's not really my thing, eating and feeling like I'm in a club. Definitely more for the young crowd and opportunity to dress up glam. Multiple levels with bar, club and shisha. Make sure to book to avoid disappointment 😞

I was here for my friend's wedding party. It was an amazing experience. The atmosphere is great, the location is easy to navigate and the food was tasty. Maybe because my friends getting married are Kenyans and probably have specified that the food should have more flavour 😁 It was a mixed race attendees and the comments on the food were great. The platters were quite huge and we had to take some food home- surplus! Not sure about anything else as I was just at the space booked for the wedding party which has a bar (quite expensive though, but didn't have much great expectations).

Our dining experience was quite disappointing. From the tough lamb shish to the tasteless dry chicken and some sort of flatbread, the meal didn't meet our expectations. The lack of friendly service further added to the negative experience. The senior staff in white should know better. It's always frustrating and let down when a recommendation doesn't live up to its promise, but it's good to know for next time.

Might as well have threw my money in the bin, I’ve had better food at local chicken shops. Way too overpriced for what it is. Way too loud as well. Interior was the only good thing about it

Visted this place again after a long time. A 40th birthday group with 26 people, family and friends. The servers had done their best. Some of the dishes came out warm and not hot. We had to send some dishes back. Personally, this situation has happened to me at quite a few restaurants. They can't cater for large parties because they haven't hired enough staff for the event. It's a shame.

Never eaten something that tastes so good in my life. I went 3 years ago in October and I still think about it sometimes before I sleep. It’s that kinda food where you can’t name what ingredients are in it cause of the way it feels when you eat it. Those really high tier restaurants that are innovative!

Would not recommend. After climbing a good amount of stairs, you’re led into a pretty place. The drinks were the only thing good and what I would recommend. Ordered the halloumi and calamari which tasted like it was cooked from frozen. £21 for a sad excuse of a burger and the chips were so stale and starchy. The service could’ve been better as well.

I recently hosted a birthday celebration with a group of 12 at Tarshish restaurant, but unfortunately, the experience did not meet our expectations. I’d like to share some specific concerns: 1. Rushed Ordering: Upon arrival, we were asked to place our orders within 5-10 minutes, even though the entire party had not yet arrived. This caused unnecessary stress as I had to call everyone individually to take their orders over the phone. We were repeatedly reminded that another group was scheduled after us, which also created pressure during the celebration. For larger groups, it would be more considerate to offer longer time slots to allow guests to fully enjoy their experience. 2. Food Hygiene: One of my cousin’s dishes arrived with a fly in it, and she had to wait another 30 minutes for a replacement, by which time everyone else had already finished eating. 3. Premature Clearing of Drinks: One of my friend’s drinks was cleared away without her knowledge before she had finished it, which was quite disappointing. 4. Payment Process: The policy of allowing payment with only one card was particularly inconvenient, as I had to collect individual payments from my friends, which disrupted the flow of the evening. 5. They took away my unfinished birthday cake and didn’t offer to package it. I was very upset by this and due to being rushed for taking payments forgot to ask. Although the food and ambience was great, I will not be coming here again and will not recommend it to anyone else due to the poor customer service.

Food average at best. They took my plate away with 2/3rds of the food remaining without asking if I was done eating or whether I wanted to pack it away. They done this slyly whilst I was distracted. They later repeated this behaviour with my beverage, took my half-full glass (the Marilyn Monroe one) when I left it at the table with my friends to go to the bathroom. Rude and rushed service.

Okay, so this review is three years late, but better late than never, right? This is still hands down my favourite restaurant! I can still remember the amazing customer service like yesterday—it left such a lasting impression. And don’t even get me started on the food! It was so good, it blew my expectations out of the water. I’m already counting down the days until I can return next year!

Omar and his team are just what you want when you want to enjoy dinner in a lovely venue. Service and food are always spot on. I have been back one too many times — my go-to restaurant when I want good food and a relaxing evening.

Great food and atmosphere. The service was very slow to begin with. Unable to order drinks at the bar. Asked for water ×4, was only brought to the table after the 4th time of asking. This location was not accessible for disabled people due to the amount of stairs with no lift available. In 2024, that is shocking. This is an issue for me as we should be focused on inclusion to all locations. I did discuss this with the lady on the desk, and she explained it was due to not being granted permission from the council for a lift! The council should feel ashamed of themselves.

The atmosphere was amazing. The decor and vibes were divine. The service was ok for me, however my friend commented that it could have been more welcoming. Will definitely be coming back

Attended on Saturday for a birthday , atmosphere was great, beautiful restaurant and front of house were lovely . Our waitress didn’t seem very interested or like she wanted to be there . We were sat and not even a hello she just put the menus down and walked away. Food overall, overpriced with no real flavour. My friends lamb was nice but my Turkish dish lacked flavour and so did the bulgar .

Every was amazing, staff were very accommodating. Food was great! Would recommend.

Food was amazing, the ambience and the views from the rooftop restaurant are fabulous. Waiters were very friendly and accommodating, made sure to check on us plenty of times and were exceptional. The place is kid friendly and even has high chairs available.

Recientemente usé el espacio privado de alquiler en Tarshish para mi cumpleaños; ¡qué montaña rusa! TLDR: Doble me reservó retrasando mi preparación, retrospectivamente agregó £ 300 alquiler de habitaciones a la reserva que exigieron de la nada en la noche y luego regaló bebidas gratis a mis huéspedes y luego me cobró por no cumplir con el gasto mínimo de bebidas; la altura del engaño. Pregunté sobre mis fechas y luego hice la visita del sur al norte de Londres para ver (junto con muchos otros lugares) y me dijeron que era un menú fijo de £ 45 por persona (inc cargo por servicio pagado en efectivo en la noche) y mínimo £ 25 bebidas gastadas. Sabía que mis invitados no harían el gasto completo, ya que había muchos no bebedores, así que decidí que estaba dispuesto a hacer la diferencia. Me advirtieron si decidí seguir adelante, tenía que volver en persona para dar un depósito en efectivo de £ 500 para asegurar la habitación. Por muy inconveniente que fuera, hice precisamente eso y me dijeron que firmara un ‘formulario’ en papel que tienen donde escriben todos los detalles sobre la reserva en él y me hacen firmar y se quedan con esto; sin copia para mí, sin correo electrónico con detalles, solo correo electrónico automático diciendo, tienes una reserva, etc. Ya me sentía dudoso, pero debido a muchas críticas, seguí adelante. Me llamaron esa misma noche diciéndome que se habían perdido que la habitación ya estaba reservada e intentarían hablar con la otra parte. ¡El estrés! Luego volví a llamar día tras día durante aproximadamente una semana con ellos diciendo que estaban tratando de contactar a esta persona, así que estaba perdiendo el tiempo yendo y viniendo en busca de lugares de respaldo que perdieron preciosos días de planificación y envío de mis invitaciones. Después de una semana finalmente consiguieron que la otra persona confirmara que no quería la habitación para que pudiera apresurarme a ordenar todo lo demás ahora que tenía un lugar confirmado. Luego le mostró a mi hermano (quien vino conmigo en la visualización) un contrato donde habían escrito prominentemente en la pluma la tarifa de alquiler de £ 300 que no estaba allí cuando lo firmé. Enfermo. Luego dijo, bueno, iba a renunciar a su gasto de bebidas restantes y le cobrará £ 150 ph por más tiempo en la habitación, así que solo pagar las bebidas gastadas en su lugar, que yo solo habría hecho desde el principio de todos modos (y el cargo por servicio estaba incluido, pero se muestra por separado). If a snake was a person! I recently used the private hire space in Tarshish for my birthday; what a rollercoaster! TLDR: Double booked me delaying my prep, retrospectively added £300 room hire to booking that they demanded out of the blue on the night and then gave away free drinks to my guests then charged me for not meeting minimum drinks spend; the height of deceitfulness. I enquired about my dates and then made the visit from South to North London to view (along with many other venues) and was told it was a set menu of £45pp (inc service charge paid in cash on the night) and minimum £25 drinks spend. I knew my guests wouldn’t make the full spend as there were many non-drinkers so I decided I was willing to make the difference. I was advised if I decided to go ahead, I had to come back in person to give a £500 cash deposit to secure the room. As inconvenient as it was, I did just that and was told to sign a paper ‘form’ they have where they write all the details about the booking on it and get me to sign and they keep this; no copy for me, no email with details, only auto email saying, you have a booking etc. Already felt dodgy but due to many reviews, I went ahead. Was called back on the same night telling me they’d missed that the room was already booked and they would try to speak to the other party. The stress! Then I called back day after day for about a week with them saying they were trying too get hold of this person so I was wasting time going back and forth looking for backup venues which wasted precious days of planning and sending out my invites. After a week they finally got the other person to confirm they didn’t want the room so I could rush to get everything else sorted now that I had a confirmed venue. On the night, my makeup artist was 1.5 hours late which made me late which was already upsetting. On the face of it, Tarshish seemed to handle it well and with the busy kitchen they did their best to get food out. The main problem started when the final bill came. I saw the remaining food money, plus service charge plus £300 room hire. I felt sick! We asked Onur, what is this £300 room hire and he said “take out the picture you have on your phone of the contract”, knowing full well I had no copy or picture of the contract. He then showed my brother (who came with me on the viewing) a contract where they had prominently written in pen the £300 room hire fee that wasn’t there when I signed it. Sickening. He then said, well I was going to waive your remaining drinks spend and charge you £150ph for more time in the room so pay the drinks spend instead, which I would have just done from the beginning anyway (and the service charge was included but just shown separately). I paid an additional £372. After the event at least 3 separate people told me they were given free drinks on the night, including cocktails, who knows how many more. And still they charged me extra money for drinks they know they had given away. To look someone in the eye and lie about contracts and be so deceitful just speaks to the core of the person you are and Tarshish is run by the most devious of men that will screw you over when given the chance. Hire at your own risk.

Beware! Lots of stairs to get to the roof so be ready for the challenge bower it is totally worth it on a sunny day with a breeze. Beautifully presented food with friendly staff. We had mixed cold meze, Adana, chicken Shish and Chop shish with bulgur, latte and sprite. Totally of £105 (3 people) All food had a little kick to it and it was very authentic. Salad wasn’t the regular thing you would see on tables but it’s nice to have something new. Atmosphere was absolutely stunning but the toilets were missing toilet paper and even after letting staff member know there was no refill. We didn’t have reservation but we were welcomed in. It’s a beautiful place perfect for celebration or just to enjoy great meal. Thank you team, we will be back for more!

I’ve been here before. Reason for 4 stars is because of its location. It isn’t the greatest if I’m honest, although they have their own car park situated 2 mins away. The views from the top aren’t the best. It’s located at a crossroad junction. I went during the evening on a weekday, and the atmosphere was nil, but I suppose it’s because it was midweek. Nevertheless, the presentation of the food was good, and so was the taste. I personally wouldn’t go there for a special occasion, but it’s defo worth a visit. It’s not a high end place, and nor is it a place where you can spontaneously just rock up hoping for a bargain. Maybe for someone’s not so special birthday? Not sure, but the food was good, just to reiterate.

Spicy Bao buns are quite nice and cost 10£ for two. The mains are around 23£ which I don't think is worth it because portion is small and quality isn't great. Doesn't taste like authentic Turkish cuisine however the bulgar is decent Cocktails aren't worth 13£ - wouldn't bother External beer prices 8£ and they don't have draft only bottles Their shisha is decent and decor looks lovely.

First time going and was disappointed in my starter. It honestly was very hard and almost cracked my tooth. The main was sensational, I really enjoyed my truffle Mac and cheese on the side with my sea bass. The rice is also very good. All in all the starter let me down so bad but the rest was great My partner really enjoyed his lamb chops and truffle potatoes

We went to Tarshish on a Thursday night without booking and it was perfectly fine. They let us in. The place was almost empty but regardless with did enjoy it because we had all the attention. The waiter there was amazing! One of the best waiter I've ever seen. Anyway the decor of the place is quite flashy so you may or may not like it, but still clean, glamorous and good atmosphere. Looking at the menu you realise that prices are same as in central London but here we are in zone 3 so a bit of a let down. The food is then amazing. Good portion and presentation. We had one main each and cold meze with not drink and we spent less then 50£ each which is a lot even if portions are big! I did not love the salad, with the apple, but the rest was absolutely amazing.

The aesthetics and ambiance at Tarshish were nice, but the overall experience was very disappointing. The service was just OK. We ordered our starter and main course together, but had to wait ages for our food to arrive. When it finally did, only the starter came out. The waitress didn't ask if our food was OK. My son ordered a kids' cheeseburger meal that was overly smothered in sauce. He didn't eat it, just the chips, and he's not usually fussy. We even tried scraping off some of the sauce without success. I ordered the lamb shank, but the amount of excess fat was ridiculous, as if they left it on because it was too much trouble to cut off. While I understand it's unrealistic to remove every single piece of fat, the amount left on made it unenjoyable. I was very disappointed. My husband and daughter both went for the Mixed Grill and Shish, which seemed to be OK. The only really nice thing about Tarshish was the decoration. I've been to many restaurants, and anytime a waitress sees that a customer hasn't eaten all their food, they ask if everything is OK. Here, your waitress was happy to take back 3 out of 4 half-eaten plates without a care for the customer experience. My family and I will never come back.

Absolutely amazing place, came here for a friends birthday and we were greeted very well asked how we were.Then taken to our table and there was a DJ who played amazing music all night!!!!!!We got our food played very elegantly and got the peacock mocktail.AMAZING this place deserves 5 stars.The staff are so amazing and extremely helpful and polite, definitely deserve more recognition than they get.Definitely recommend we were dancing all night long whilst we had our food and were greeted constantly which was very sweet.Everyone here was so sweet and everyone felt comfortable to vibe.This place is amazing and I definitely think for a special occasion or a night or even a day out that this place is definitely worth it we had a beautiful nights view

Highs : lovely waitress, decor, music Low : food is poor / average (none of our party of 12 particularly enjoyed or finished their plates ), chairs were extremely uncomfortable, very expensive for what it is. Your typical instagram spot overly hyped for no reason.

Don’t be fooled, icl the bread starter was the only good thing about the food, the rice felt like beans, the lamb beyta i could taste each ingredients and overdosed with sauce and the drinks was 90% water and 10% drink like it’s overpriced as well and the service violated me like i felt violated and do yourself a favour don’t come

I cannot understand all the reviews saying this is the best Turkish food ever. Where else have you been trying Turkish food? This isn’t even a Turkish restaurant - having shish on the menu does not make it Turkish. My partner and I came here for dinner on our anniversary. Our table was at 6:30 and there was 1 other couple in the main dining restaurant. The restaurant is beautiful. The vibes are great, the food just did not live up to the potential this place has. We ordered the calamari and houmous to start which were both really nice. The passionfruit with the calamari we wasn’t sure of when ordering, but it was really delicious. The mains - we went for a mixed grill and lamb beyti and we both had rice and shared sides of chips and mac and cheese. The beyti was nice, there was way too much yoghurt for my partner’s taste, but it was good. The meat on the mixed grill was a mixed bag. The Adana was awful. It was tough and cold and grizzly. Very poor quality and just not nice. The chicken shish was fine and the lamb shish was really good, the meat was soft and flavoursome. Now the rice. The rice is more like pilau rice. It’s not the rice I expect to receive at a Turkish restaurant (because this is not a Turkish restaurant). It was just bland, boring, not what you need when you’re just eating rice with meat. And the mac and cheese. I’ve seen this mac and cheese all over social media so I had to try it. It was horrible. There was a oil layer on top and it just tasted like a cheap cheddar cheese. When we were finished, I still had half of my meat left, we left majority of the mac and cheese, and almost a whole rice. We asked for a takeaway container for the leftover food and was told no. I asked why and was told they didn’t have any boxes. We paid a lot of money for this food (especially for what it actually was) and to be told we couldn’t take what we’d paid for with us was very disappointing. As we were leaving my partner spoke to the manager who said “oh are you sure? Let me check”. I don’t know why the waiter would lie to us, but he checked and said there were no boxes and we left. It left a really sour feel on our anniversary meal. On the way home, we called the restaurant to find out if we could order a collection takeaway. They said yes what would you like to order. I asked if they had boxes for the food to taken way in. They said yes of course. My partner has emailed the restaurant. This was a week ago now. He hasn’t had a response. Money grabbing is all that springs to mind.

Absolutely appalling! I cannot express how disappointed my husband and I are after spending £150 last night on what was beyond disappointing. Complete let down. We heard so much about Tarshish in the past and my husband decided to take me there for my birthday and in all honesty we left the place feeling so let down! And to have paid £150 on a few bites of nasty food ! Tasteless and bland. The rice was disgusting to look at let alone eat. The mixed grill are you for real? 2 cubes of chicken shish 2 cubes of lamb shish and a dry tasteless chicken Adana ? We ordered ribs which were not even edible ! Sooo chewy and horrible! No flavour. The waitress took it back to cook a little more and so brought them back to us now burnt ! Presentation of the entire dinner was awful may I add. Mocktails were tasteless and rubbish. I would never advise anyone to go here and will never even look at the place again. It’s ridiculous that these places get away with charging as if they’re serving gold when they’re literally no better or even not as good as the local kebab shop round the corner !

I don’t usually write reviews and If I could give this zero stars I would. I got the halloumi they were extremely dry and the Mac and cheese had no flavour it tasted like cardboard as well for the calamari which didn’t even taste like calamari it was fried in too much batter you could barely taste it. The rice was so dry no flavour at all and the chicken was the only decent thing I had. In the end I got food poisoning and all that food gave me the worst stomach ache. Don’t go here you’re better off going Morley’s

Tarshish provided exceptional service for both my friend's engagement celebration and my birthday meal. Onur and Shanon went above and beyond to ensure that both occasions were memorable and enjoyable. The private section of the restaurant was beautifully decorated and provided an intimate setting for the engagement event. The ambiance was warm and inviting, and the staff was respectful and attentive at all times. The birthday meal was equally fantastic, with delicious cuisine and impeccable service. I highly recommend Restaurant Tarshish to anyone looking for a venue for private functions or a place to host family and friends for special occasions. Oi this place is wack I can't lie. Dunno how I got roped into paying £20 more than I needed to on a Turkish when I coulda got the same thing from my local with a much bigger portion. I guess you pay for the atmosphere but as turkishes go it was the blandest I've had. Also don't get the beef Donner it taste like Iceland frozen donner (yes I've had Donner from Iceland the struggle was real). Staff were really lovely and welcoming and maybe I caught them on a bad kitchen day but I will not be going back to catch em on a good one.

Well here is my dilemma Food is really good (been there twice purely for that reason and that reason only) However their service and the staff attitude is a different story When it comes to paying the bill there are some strange rules and regulations such as you are not allowed to pay separately if your party is over certain number unless you pay cash Never heard of such a thing till I ended up in tarshish for christmass party dinner Also they got my order wrong on the second visit so instead of mix grill I ended up with mix shish! And the waitress is acting as if its not a big deal and they are both very similar dishes! No apologies whatsoever. Didn't want to ruin the experience for my friends decided to carry on with my food and not make a fuss. However not going back there again. No matter how great the food the terrible service is never justified

Had a nice night last night at tarshish, we got a few wrong this bought to our table but our waitress Toni was very helpful. other than that lovely night and Toni was very kind and and attentive.

Verryyyy slow service. Been waiting to eat for hours!!! And when they finally brought out the main meal everyons appetite was gone from eating all the bread. even to bring out the drinks omg we waitd almost 2 hours 😩😩😩 if you think thats bad, u gotta wait about an extra hour for the bill. mid food and slow customer service.

Food was bad yet so expensive. It’s actually funny. I brought a chicken starter, it’s was literally 4 toothpicks with a tiny bit of chicken. Then a lamb wrap. The atmosphere was so bad that I didn’t want to stay for shisha but the man said I have to which is so hilarious because I’m paying in cash so it’s not like he couldn’t just reduced my bill. And there is a manadory service fee which is ridiculous because the service wasn’t great either. So WITHOUT food, my bill was £45 because I had to pay for service and shisha. Then my one lamb roll and 5 bites size toothpicks made the bill a whopping £100 for one person alone. DAYLIGHT ROBBERY. Not to mentions the toilets were in a disgusting state. Will NEVER return here. Don’t believe tiktok, this place ONLY accepts cash as well. So they are robbing you and the government

Went for a mates 40th. Good food, nice place but upstairs only - has about twenty steps and no lift. Security guard and some mates helped lift me in my wheelchair up two tight flights of stairs, wouldn't advise as a regular thing.

Lovely experience visiting last night for two. Bill was over £100 food was perfect, drinks 10/10. Good music friendly staff, did not wait long for food. Waiters very attentive. Parked on a near by street free after 10pm Bury street car park was closed at 9pm on Saturday. Highly recommended overall 10/10

I attended a friend's bridal shower at Tarshish once, the food was fantastic, the service was swift, and the flavors were delightful.

changing the menu every 3/4 months, new menu is very disappointing. My wife and I are passionate and active food bloggers and we will be posting our experience in the coming days. Bao Buns were nice starters Mains Lamb shank was very chewy and was very bland. Sea bass presentation was genuinely disgusting, Previous experiences had shown it to look good in the past and it had bones throughout. Beyti was not special, wasn’t noteworthy. £140 completely wasted for my wife’s birthday, she was left heartbroken and very disappointed for her birthday meal as she hyped up this restaurant for months in the run up to her birthday.

Came here for my birthday with a group of friends. Service and food was amazing! Staff were very attentive and food came in good time and well presented. Great atmosphere with the gorgeous decor and dj playing some old skool classics as well as afrobeats. We left feeling full and satisfied with our food and experience. The only thing I was disappointed with, was my cake, it was literally falling apart. My friends kindly surprised me with the “celebration cake” with a sparkler which was lovely of them, however it’s unfortunate that I was presented with a slightly “mashed up” cake (all the ‘fingers’ surrounding the cake was snapped) as I would of liked to have taken more “pretty” pictures with it on my ‘special day’ - a star lost for that alone.

I’ve come down to Tarshish for my Sisters Birthday and honestly it was once of the best experiences she’s had, The Atmosphere was amazing and the Dj playing was so on point with everything, so glad I chose to come here for my sisters special day. Our server Toni was amazing and was part of making our time special there she was so on point with everything, from when she seated us and up until we left, She was very attentive even thought it was busy and packed she made sure every step of service was on point till the end. The food was amazing aswell as their drinks and cocktails. Overall such a great place and really enjoyable

The food was really lovey , but the kmb chops were a bit charred.. It's a bit too dark, too, especially where the photographs were being taken. All in all, it was a memorable experience . I'll definitely want to go back.

On my daughters birthday party at tarshish and the food for me not the best we pre ordered food from a set menu chicken Shish and my son and partner had mixed shish plates arrived with 5 cubes of meat and chicken on each plate no salad or bread I called over waiter and asked him when bread and salad would arrive he said it’s coming but never did so for me paying the amount of money for 5 cubes of meat and nothing else was a bit much but you learn from experience and never ever go back again
