Cannot recommend this place enough! Price A***** Food and flavours A***** Staff A***** Very busy due to quality and prices, so ensure to come at good time or be prepared to wait a little to get a table. It really does take you back home to Punjab and the flavours do taste like apna Lahore. If you are in Birmingham, make sure you make a stop here.

We visit Apna Lahore often, mainly for their amazing breakfast whether its desi or english, good selection to choose from Catering for children's too. Generous sized portations reasonably priced and karak chai is my favorite. Service is lovely too. Highly recommended!

We were greeted warmly and seated right away, which set a positive tone for the experience. The customer service was commendable, and the breakfast? Absolutely delicious! Every bite took me back to the authentic flavors of Pakistani cuisine. However, there was one downside—the restaurant was noticeably cold inside. While the food hit all the right notes, the chilly atmosphere did dampen the experience a little. A bit of warmth could have made it perfect. If you're looking for a place to enjoy desi breakfast with authentic Lahori vibes, *Apna Lahore* is worth a visit—just make sure to bundle up if it's a cold day!

Horrible experience. Would give 0 stars if I could. No welcome. Had to go to counter to order food. Horrible ambiance. Lighting gave us a headache. Ordered halwa puri. Karak chai had a disgusting taste. Channa tasted nice. Halwa was very plain. Puri's were chewy and rubbery. Will NOT be going back.

My trip from Coventry to Birmingham only to have lahori style chickpeas & puri breakfast in Apna Lahore restaurant was really worth while. I will recommend everyone to experience the taste, hospitality, service and the environment. Totally a hidden gem 💎 . Some people may say its a bit pricey but the overall experience is far better than any other similar restaurant. I will definitely come back again and again and again ... ( you get the idea). The cherry on top was the Very generous size like-home Karak chai .... Lastly thank you Apna Lahore for the overall customer service and experience. May Allah bless you

I’ve been to Apna Lahore three times now i was about to go to tatse of pakitsan and accidentally entered at Apna lahore and thought lets give this a go and I loved it and i went again and again, and every time their breakfast has been amazing! The food is just like homemade – not too oily or heavy, which I really appreciate. At other places, I often feel sick after a greasy breakfast, but here the food is perfectly balanced and leaves me feeling great. I’ve tried a variety of items, and everything has been consistently delicious. Highly recommend this place for anyone looking for a quality, homely breakfast experience!

Beautiful place to visit . Food is very tasty and highly recommended. Open everyday from 6 AM to 3 PM while on weekends 6 AM to 6 pm.

Best in town. Best in UK probably. Although not the exact Lahori chanay but the best UK can offer. Atleast better than those you may find in Islamabad. Aunty is very hospitable and the song selection in the background is so Pakistani.

My one and only favourite place for breakfast. I love halwa puri chanay. Karak chai is a relief. My kids like their nehari. Will see you again Apna Lahore.

Well presented with many staff there to help . Was a bit apprehensive with how busy it was that food was going to take a while however to my suprise it came rather quick and boy they didn't disappoint. Kerman toastie was full of flavour and quality . Paratha with omelette was awesome! Prices were fair and reasonable, will be coming again !

I mostly visited apna lahore Restaurant for breakfast and was blown away by the incredible food! Their Halwa Puri was absolutely delicious, with soft, fluffy puris and sweet, perfectly balanced halwa. The Nahari was rich, flavorful, and had just the right amount of spice. The service was warm and welcoming, making the whole experience even better. Highly recommend for anyone craving authentic Pakistani flavours! Top of the list for me.

We went there to have breakfast and it was very busy.We had to wait for half an hour to be seated.Food was good but wanted more naan but owner was like we are very busy you should have ordered the right amount of naans you needed.Very disappointing and we had to plea to get one more naan. Had a lovely time with my family. Have been attending here at various times over the years and the quality of food, service and vibes have never disappointed. Genuinely a must try, once you try it you won't go back. Really love the new interior as well as it gives a really calm vibe. All the food is delivered in a timely manner, presented lovely, affordable, and staff keep check to make sure you aren't lacking anything. Have been here will all ages of family and really glad that it is a family environment. 11/10 defo recommend

New girl at the front has a terrible attitude! Their karak chai is the worst in town but Channas are good. When asked to substitute Karak Chai with a coffee, they refused and offered me a can of pop instead! Who drinks pop with breakfast! Last time I go here! Also I walked out myself after hearing this girls ridiculous attitude and way with customers, I was not told to leave like they have said in their response to my review! Clearly the money has got to their heads! Use to be so nice in here before! Was a regular but Will never be going here again!

It seemed quite a busy place. We had to wait about 20-30 minutes to get a table for 5. We made the order at the till and from ordering it took 40-45 minutes to get the food to our table (chicken karahi). The food was not all that. It wasn’t bad. But considering they took so long to cook, they could have done a better job. Overall me and my family were not all that pleased with the way the food was cooked. As a result we couldn’t finish the food and had to take it home in a box. The price was reasonable. The inside space is a bit tight, too dark and can feel very busy when there are people about. We came from Manchester and were expecting better from this place in Birmingham after reading some reviews. They didn’t have chicken tikka which my kids really wanted. It was also too noisy. I have been very honest about my experience eating today (21 July 2024) at Apna Lahore restaurant on Ladypool road, Birmingham.

Had my first experience of breakfast and such a scrumptious kari pakora and paratha that i have never tasted before. Totally awesome flavours of channa puri and halwa at a very reasonable price.karak chaii was good too. Do try their lassi as well. Highly recommend for people from Pakistan who wish to feel at home.
