This has become me and my wife’s go to steak restaurant… get the ribeye or the tira de ancho

It's a beautiful restaurant that serves amazing steaks. Good, friendly staff!! Will definitely recommend you to go and give them a try.

Claramente nos estaban sacando corriendo. Mirando alrededor del restaurante, la mayoría de los otros comensales se habían ido y solo había tres mesas ocupadas. Debo añadir que eran solo unas 9. 20 pm. Con la perspectiva de pocos o ningún paseo más - ins esa noche, el personal había decidido salir corriendo y cerrar temprano. Unos dos o tres minutos después de que nos preguntaran si queríamos café, la camarera nos preguntó si queríamos la cuenta - y esto también llegó en tiempo récord! Tratamos de ignorarlo y tratamos de disfrutar de nuestros últimos sorbos de vino, pero luego la camarera apareció en mi hombro con la máquina de tarjetas! ¡Realmente querían que termináramos y nos fuéramos! Pagamos y nos fuimos, habiendo tenido nuestra tarde apresurada y arruinada. No volveremos, lo cual es una pena porque, como dije, anteriormente había sido genial.

Second time dining at Asado, this time for a birthday meal. Had a mixture of starters and the steak platter. Cooked to perfection and full of flavour. Superb.

The food here was excellent! The mashed potatoes were perfectly creamy, and the mac and cheese was absolutely delicious – so rich and flavourful. The fillet steak was the highlight for me, cooked to perfection and paired wonderfully with the mushroom sauce. Everything is halal, which is a great bonus. I highly recommend trying the mac and cheese, mashed potatoes, and especially the fillet steak – it was the best dish of the night!

Visited a few weeks ago and this place was definitely a hit for us. Great food, fantastic service from Mehreen and overall a lovely vibe. Really enjoyed ourselves here.

We were 2 adults and 1 child (11 years old). We ordered the scallops, 1 portion of empanadas, a steak platter (consisting of Sirloin, Ribeye, Rump, and Fillet cuts), A side of mac & cheese as well as a portion of chips. The scallops were excellent. The empanadas were a bit of a letdown although the chicken one was much better than the beef. The steak platter was overall a good idea as we got to try different cuts. The Ribeye was especially good. The sirloin was okay. The rump and fillet had a not so pleasant aftertaste so i would not recommend them. The Mac & cheese was heavy on the bechamel which we liked but may not be to everyone's taste. The service was excellent, although it may be because there were only a couple of tables with patrons. There was one issue where we were charged for 2 portions of empanadas, as we got 1 chicken and 1 beef. This was not made clear to us when Ordering, as in the menu it states that there are 2 empanadas in a portion, but this was not too much of an issue. Overall, I would recommend adding Asado to your list of Halal Steakhosues to visit.

Food was seriously good, must be fresh as once they run out of items, it's off the menu! Apart from a few items not on the menu, we had a lovely experience overall. Inside can do with something though, felt a bit dark and sad.

Asado Steakhouse was a wonderful dining experience from start to finish. The ambience was quiet and dimly lit, creating the perfect cosy atmosphere for a relaxed meal. We ordered the ribeye steak, mashed potatoes, chips, and mac & cheese—all of which were absolutely delicious. The steak was cooked perfectly, the sides were rich and flavorful, and everything complemented each other beautifully. Highly recommended for anyone looking for great food in a warm and inviting setting!

The chicken empanadas was nice the beef one tasted old and smelled old. The sirloin steak was ok. The mushroom sauce was nice and the mash potatoes needed salt and a dash of cream.

Lovely family experience and food was 100/10. Also for kids the ASADO BURGER WAS MASSIVE. There’s no need for sides with it. But all in all it was a nice and cosy experience with lovely staff!

One of the best steak houses in London

My friend has been here 5+ times and she decided to take me and my partner and I must say I was very impressed. The steak platter was delish and cooked to perfection! The scallops, mac&cheese and king prawns were lovely also . I will definitely be back.

Amazing service, amazing food, amazing staff

It’s been a good few years since I’ve been to a restaurant and came out impressed. The food was just amazing and the deserts 😋 My family and I went for the sirloin steak and lamb shank also halal. It was delicious. They even make virgin mojitos on request and that was even spot on. Definitely give this place a go. I will definitely be going back to try out the other dishes. The staff were really friendly too. People rave about Sahara Grill in Leyton but their steak does not even come close!

My family and I have visited Asado in total of five times. Each time we have visited, they have not disappointed. The standard of their food and drinks has been consistently the same each time. Asado is definitely our go to family restaurant for fine dining. The staff are super friendly! Definitely recommend.

I’ve been to this a great steak house a few times , meat cooked to perfection. Very rarely do I have rump steak but theirs has to be the most tender, as long as it is not cooked over medium. Under no circumstances have it well done as those on our table found out.

Service and food in general was very good. However, the king prawns still had the muck inside it which made the taste unpleasant. The variety of steaks and lamb shank was very good and well cooked.

Found this place via google search, think it’s definitely a hidden gem if you are looking for a good steak. The starters were presented beautifully, the ribs let it down as it was a bit tough to chew but the flavour was amazing, the ceviche was beautiful the calamari was also done fresh and the batter was crispy. We ordered the steak board and the medallion was slightly over done however the staff took care of it right away, gave us another piece cooked to perfection and tasted amazing. The service from the staff here was outstanding, they are super friendly and kind. I would definitely come back here. Inside the restaurant it’s really nice done up- it’s not a big restaurant but you really don’t feel like you are in East London. If you are going on a date this is nice place especially as you can hear yourself speak. And it’s decently priced.

I had my mums 65th birthday meal here, the food was out of this world. All of us was extremely happy. The steaks was cooked to everyone’s preference and cooked to perfection. The staff was very welcoming and efficient and they did everything they could to make sure everyone was happy. We was able to leave our balloons, some table toppers and small gifts at the restaurant over night to come and collect the next day, as we all went out after the meal so that was very nice of them. The decor is beautiful, classy and clean. Hands down the best steak restaurant I have ever been to.

Really impressed. So hard to find a very nice halal restaurant specialising in steak. Husband and I had a wonderful date night out. Even scallops and drinks were spot on. Waiter very attentive and helpful in making further recommendations.

3 outta 5. We dined here on a Tuesday evening, and it was busy. We were greeted with a smile, the staff were very friendly, extremely tentative, and as they say, made it happen. The ambience is good also. So why 3 outta 5? I was let down by the food. We ordered the garlic prawns (6/10), chicken empanadas (3/10), the sharing steak platter (4/10) as we ordered med-rare and it came almost well done and dry. The chimichuri sauce was amazing (10/10).. and to top it off we had the cheesecake (4/10). Perhaps we just went there on an off day, but for me, it is a 3 outta 5.

I picked this place out from looking at reviews on Google. I'm very glad to say that the reviews are accurate. The steaks were delicious and the dessert (homemade) tasted and presented very well. I highly recommend the cheesecake. The customer service was excellent and faultless. We were the only one's at the restaurant so it was quiet. Prices are on the higher end but I think it's good value. 4 stars because unfortunately I did not enjoy the Empanadas. Nevertheless, I do recommend this place.

Such a gem of a restaurant. We have often driven passed and finally went in for my husband's birthday. We would usually go to Miller & Carter, but Asabo is just next level. Great music and the staff were fab. Will definitely make it a more regular choice of restaurant.

Went for some steaks on a random Tuesday evening. Was being served by an Amazing young man called Kevin. He literally ran show all on his own, took orders and dealt with whatever issues customers had (me being one of them) but he dealt with like a boss. So my steak was good but a little overcooked, he took it back and made sure it was done exactly the way I wanted it and wow it was amazing. Great service great food

Food was lovely but waiter upsold on wine then added an extra few quid to his tip, which was pretty cheeky.

Steaks were nice and generally cooked well. We ordered the the ultimate tasting board. All cooked too order apart from fillet which was over cooked. Sides were very small especially for the price. Disappointed that the waiter ripped us off on the tip. We went to pay 10% but he changed it to 15% without saying anything. He also upsold us on the wine saying they were out of stock of the cheapest and second cheapest wines! This would put me off going back.

I visited this establishment on Wednesday 26 June with my two siblings. We all had a fantastic time, the meals were delicious, everything was nicely presented and most of all the courses we ordered was nice and hot, our food was brought to our table promptly, the establishment is very clean. Overall a very pleasant experience.

Fantastic halal Argentine steak.

The service was very good and fast. The starters came fast and tasted fresh and yummy. The beef burger was also really nice. I would also recommend the mocktails. We were slightly let down by the steaks. Whilst the cuts of the steak tender, all the steaks we ordered were slightly cold and lacked any seasoning. I would also recommend the peppercorn sauce over the chimichurri and mushroom. Disappointed considering the price point and main dish is steaks.

Fantastic Experience at Asado Steak House I recently visited Asado Steak House and had a wonderful dining experience. I started with the empanadas, trying both the chicken and beef varieties at £3.50 each. They were delicious and filled generously, setting a great tone for the meal. For the main course, I ordered the rump steak for £22, cooked to perfection at medium. It's quite rare to find a steakhouse that gets the cooking just right, but Asado nailed it. The steak was juicy and flavorful, paired perfectly with a rich pepper sauce that added just the right amount of kick. We did have to buy the fries separately at £3.50 was also delicious! Despite the restaurant not being busy, the service was prompt and efficient, with very little wait time for our food. Additionally, it's worth mentioning that all the food is halal, which is a big plus for many diners. Overall, Asado Steak House offers excellent food, particularly for steak lovers, and provides a pleasant dining experience. My meal came up to £32 including starters and steak and 1 soft drink which is great. Highly recommended!

Had a steak and some chips. One of the best steaks I've ever had. I believe I had the 350GM Rump Steak, with the complimentary chimichuri sauce. You can choose between mushroom, Ecuadorian and peppercorn sauce too. I ordered a side of sweet potato fries. It costs around £31.90. I'd recommend. Drinks, Wine, Burgers, Sea Food also served. Dessert too. Parking may be difficult as it's Leyton. But it's not far off from the tube station. Service was great, the guys are legends.

Excellent service and the food was amazing

Quite easily the best steak in town. I am a regular customer here, been here dozens of times or more even and it never disappoints. Since I started to come Asado I haven't had a better steak anywhere else. Ribeye Medium Rare, Mushroom Sauce and a Mac n Cheese 👌 perfection. If you always want to try a dessert, the Sticky Toffee pudding with ice cream is also fantastic.

Great food, great service, great value. Really not much more to say. Steaks, side dishes, wine, all really delicious and well priced. Service really excellent.

My recent visit left me satisfied with their well-cooked steaks and pleasantly surprised by the affordability. From the moment I walked in, the ambiance set the stage for a relaxed dining experience. The steak was nice a nice taste not too much flavour. Accompanying the steak was a serving of mac and cheese. While it could have used a bit more flavor, This restaurant offers good meals at reasonable prices. It's the perfect spot for a casual dinner with friends or a laid-back date night. Also employees here are really nice

Amazing Halal Steakhouse! We ate at Asado Steakhouse for Iftar on 22 March 2024, and we were very satisfied and will be returning. We ordered the Ribeye Steak and Sirloin Steak, which were delicious and cooked to perfection. The meat was very flavorsome and went well with the sauces. I had the Chimichurri sauce with the Ribeye Steak, and it was great. We tried the grilled chicken wings, which had an amazing Argentinian twist to it, and the flavor was great. The beef empanadas were good. The Mac and Cheese was very creamy and delicious, and I really enjoyed it. To improve, I would say they should look into serving the steak with a side, as a lot of steakhouses do serve the steak with a side, but the Steak was served by itself. Not a big complaint, but certainly something which would definitely improve the experience for their customers. The customer service we were provided was great, and the staff were very friendly and provided a fantastic, organised service during Iftar. The quality of the food, especially the meat is amazing, and I must say they are miles better than the likes of Elvet Steakhouse. The atmosphere and decor of the Restaurant was very nice too. The prices were decent too. Overall, an amazing experience for Iftar, and I will certainly be returning here to try different options on the menu. I would highly recommend Asado Steakhouse to you.

Visited yesterday during Ramadan for iftar/dinner. Honestly such amazing service by the young man that was there (unfortunately did not catch his name). We were given dates and bread (complimentary) to break our fasts and our food was also brought out in perfect timing for iftar. They were so catering towards our needs. The steak was also amazing - we got the taster platter and between 2 people this was a decent amount. Would highly recommend visiting!

I dined here last week and it was absolutely fantastic! The food was so delicious that I’m still thinking about it a week later and can’t wait to dine again! I got the ribeye steak and chips, coleslaw and button mushrooms, all of which were absolutely delightful. I ordered my steak medium rare and it was succulent, flavourful, and not chewy like other steaks I’ve had. The service was amazing, we were bought a tester for one of the steak sauces as we couldn’t make up our mind and this was incredibly thoughtful and helpful of the staff. The atmosphere was beautiful, so overall this is definitely a 5 star restaurant and I would recommend everyone to go!

We attended here on Valentine's Day and were able to get a table! The first table we were offered we didn't really like. The manager was soo kind and moved us to the back and it was very comfy and warm! We enjoyed having the sofa and pillows. The cocktails were AMAZING (sex on the beach). The steak was absolutely out of this world. We had the sharing board. The sides were also very good! Sauces were great. Service was amazing the manager was kind and attentive. We had a young waiter who was lovely and tended to our every need. Pricing was amazing for the quality. Desert was beautiful! We will definitely be back!

STEAK 10/10 on point and cooked to perfection, the vibe was like being in a local cafe with a radio playing in the corner. Requested to sit on a larger table was declined due to being booked which is understanding but spent 1hr plus in the place and not a single soul came in, was sat next to a window seat which was terrible as bad draft Avoid window seat! KING PRAWNS AVIOD!!! Was not fresh tasted of nothing, if you wanted the sauce you would have to lick the plate 🙄 Steak was amazing a must try.

If I could I would give a 0 stars. The customer service out weighs the food. Out of all people the owner was unbelievable, showing disrespect to me and friends I’ve recommended. We gave it a second chance as the food was good however this time, in the middle of serving us he disappeared out of nowhere, leaving us then coming back to the table as if he didn’t just disrespect us. Well how do I start, it was like being on the Titanic. At first it’s all fun and games until the ship starts to sink. Food is actually fantastic & the rest of the staff are genuinely really nice apart from the ‘OWNER’. There is this one individual who claims to be the owner but I doubt that. The owner would never treat or make his customers feel the way we did. Me and my guest were shocked by his lack of customer service skills & not to forget his arrogance. This one individual has ruined our evening 2 nights in a row even after we thought let’s give them another chance. Typical Albanian & Disrespectful. In a place of business you don’t get to pick & choose, you cater to everyone. I’d ! STAY AWAY! from this place guys I DO NOT RECOMMEND!!!

We had scallops and king prawns to start which were cooked beautifully and tasted great. 350g of fillet steak cooked to perfection, Gaucho who? Such a lovely experience at Asados! The atmostphere was lovely, busy yet calm music playing. The service was honestly some of the best Ive had. The waiter helped answer our questions, gave advice on what sauces went well with the meat and even brought out some tasters for us. All waiters that served us were really attentative and kind. The food was phenomenal. We have the Ecuadorian cerviche for starter, fillet steak with mushroom/peppercorn sauces and chips. The meat was literally melt in your mouth. The meat was cooked so well. We also had the Asado cheesecake and toffee pudding for desert which was delicious. Freshly made in-house and you could really tell. Worth it all. 100% worth the visit. I can't wait to go back and try something else on their menu!

Banging. So impressed that they've opened up at this part of leytonstone. Great food, the guy taking our orders was awesome and friendly, the atmosphere was chilled out. Just a great restaurant. Strongly recommend the sharing steak platter if you're in a big group and can't decide which streak to go for. We are to our fill, with 4 steaks, loads of starters, sides, desserts and a canned drink each and spent about £30 per head - so that's amazing value.

Went there yesterday for dinner with four of the brothers and it was our first time going to Asados. We all were told great things about the restaurant by our friends and we weren't disappointed. Got greeted by the welcoming staff who were accommodating and they adjusted a couple of tables for us to sit together comfortably with space to eat with. We all had their 350g Ribeye steaks cooked medium along with mushroom sauce. The steak was spot on and could be eaten on it's own without any sauces required. The mushroom sauce lacked that typical flavour if I have to be honest, but was ok. For the price you only get the relevant steak, so no veggies or steak chips comes with it like most other places. Had their Mac N Cheese which was really nice. Had that nice cheesy flavour without being overly powerful and the macaroni was cooked very nicely. Ordered the (1x) beef and (1x) chicken Empanadas where which were good, but for the price would have liked the sizes of them to be bigger. There was Lamb Ribs (2 pieces) and Shrimp and Squid Tempura (4 pieces) ordered which were also good. Got a few portions of chips and a portion of their Sweet Potato fries which were nice. The restaurant itself was of a good size and definitely family friendly. Overall really enjoyed the food and experience, would definitely recommend for all steak lovers out there!

Ribs so chewy you couldn’t swallow it, tiny wings for such an expensive price and chips so salty each were completely coated. Great service though and a nice atmosphere just disappointing food. Expensive for the portion size and quality, wouldn’t recommend.

How can you not have a peppercorn sauce with your steak? Or any other house special sauce made in their kitchen. All they had to offer was Heinz ketchup and mayonnaise. That is very poor.

Steak was done perfect, the sauces were good and the mac and cheese slaps. I come here often, the service and food is consistently good. I would not recommend ordering a lamb shank otherwise your food will take a very long time to come.

The food and service were immaculate. Steak was cooked to perfection (ordered medium). It was soft and melted in your mouth. The sides were so complimentary to the steak with a range of sauces .

Amazing place. Their steaks always have a wow factor! Me and my wife came here for lunch. The person who served us (didnt get his name) was so helpful and helped us get the order just right. We ended our lunch with a dessert and coffee. Everything was top notch!

A few days ago, I visited Asado with my family on a busy Friday night. I must say it was quite an enjoyable experience. Our group ranged in age from 2 years old to 60 years old, making it a diverse mix of diners. Asado, despite being a relatively small restaurant, managed to accommodate all 16 of us, and for that, I was extremely grateful. They even had a separate room in the back for larger groups, which shows their commitment to ensuring everyone has a pleasant dining experience. It was our first time trying Asado, and we were pleasantly surprised by the overall quality of the food and service. While I do wish they had a dedicated kid's menu and a bit more variety on their menu, I must admit that for a small steakhouse, they had a decent selection to choose from. I opted for the sirloin steak with potato puree and peppercorn sauce, and I was not disappointed. The sirloin was cooked as described and the potato puree was a delightful What truly impressed me was the level of service we received. We had requested that all our meals be served simultaneously, considering our large group, the staff at Asado were more than happy to accommodate our request. Their willingness to make our dining experience as smooth as possible was greatly appreciated. As for dessert, I couldn't resist trying the sticky toffee pudding, and it turned out to be a delightful sweet (actually quite sweet literally) ending to our meal. In summary, I would rate Asado with 4.5 stars, deducting only 0.5 for the absence of a kids' menu. The food was delicious, and the service was exceptional. The staff's kindness, attentiveness, and willingness to cater to our needs truly stood out, reaffirming the importance of excellent service in the dining industry. If you're looking for a local, cosy steakhouse with good food and top-notch service, Asado is worth a visit.

Order 1:The mixed platter chicken was overcooked. Lamb was overcooked the lamb kufta had a strange texture. Order 2: Stake platter was good, the stake cooked well as requested. Sides: chips, portions are very small. Macaroni cheese, not to my taste perfect for a kid.
