ASK Italian - Warrington in Warrington

Disappointed with the lack of sauce with the pasta. In effect the only real taste was from the pasta itself. Very unusual as I have never had such issues to complain in the past. The rest of the order was of good quality.

Love going here,best lasagne I've had. Staff are lively and helpful,not changed since we last went there. Only thing is if you have more than one offer,don't sit at the same table,as they won't do two different offers,even if paying separately

Excellent service and good food

Edit since speaking to the manager of Warrington. Ask and them speaking to the suppliers, the quality of courgette fritti has improved which I am happy about. The Courgette Fritti, was nothing like I had before, they gave me the end scraps, that you would not even give a dog, nothing like the picture, they used to be lovely, just like the picture. The margarita pizza was doughy hardly cooked. A disappointing 1 star. Don't expect any customer service from Deliveroo either.

Courier was late picking up my order and stopped at least 1 other take away after picking up my order leaving my order to go cold for at least 15 minutes whilst waiting for the order to be prepared. Pizzas arrived cold and over an hour late, shouldn’t need to reheat the food especially when I’ve paid nearly £40 for it.

The menu years ago used to be great for vegetarians but since the influx of vegans I feel we vegetarians have been let down. The choices for a vegan are much more inventive yet what is on offer for a vegetarian is basically a cheese and tomato pizza. I eat cheese so I don’t want to eat a vegan pizza with fake cheese. I really feel the menu is lazy clumping vegetarians and vegans in the same category. I now eat at pizza express and order a lovely mushroom pizza. It is a shame as I went to Ask for 10 years and was sad to leave.

Had a lovely lunch here and the pizzas we all had were fantastic. Highly recommend the salami pizza and prawn pizza Desserts are also delicious, the cinnamon swirl you need to get it so good

Exactly as you'd expect. Food was nice and the staff were friendly.

This is one of the cozy dinner place in Warrington, located at the city centre. This place has both indoor and outdoor sitting, the dishes were good. Staffs are very polite and the service was quick. This restaurant is recommended for the family or dinner dates.

Visited here with my wife today and I was not disappointed ordered the calzone and wife ordered the tagliatelle with prawn and cray fish. Hats off to the chefs and staff, food was delicious and staff members very attentative and will be definately coming back again! Top marks folks!

Food was quite bland, sauce in carbonara didn’t have much taste.

The Courgetti Fritti, are back to their normal size, the manager said it was a supplier issue. It sems sorted now. The Mushroom Ragu Papadrille was much better this time too this time.

A bit disappointing. Lovely staff that’s the first thing. Food was average but the carbonara wasn’t great. Poorly made, watery sauce, fancy spaghetti, cold pancetta on top. Service was Ok but not attentive. We removed the service charge.

Great everything, would highly recommend. Especially on a weeknight when tastecard and other discounts might apply. Lovely atmosphere abd food!

For the first time in a while we did not book, and just turned up. Three of us were made to feel more than welcome all the staff were excellent and made us all feel welcome. the food was great and we had a great visit, looking forward to the next visit.

This has been the worst experience I've ever had. Estimate kept moving up and up. Over 1.5 hours later we gave up, got food, cooked and had a meal, then it was delivered out of nowhere, over 2 hours after ordering. Infuriating and pointless.

We came here for food and would not recommend it. Our garlic bread came out burnt. The pasta was watery and had next to no taste. It is definitely overpriced for the quality of the food.

Nice food had a voucher so fair price

I normally rate the 5/5, but this one depends on the chef. All other 4 times I tried previously, a senior chef (don't know his name) gave us an experience of Italian magic on dishes right from starters to dessert. But, unfortunately he was off on the day I turned up, but his cover on that day didn't prepare well. Some food were burnt and in some taste didn't sync in. Certainly shows how important he is to the restaurant wielding magic.

Great quality food, was the only customer in there as it just opened and the staff were pleasant. I would recommend and visit again.

We got there a few minutes late, but was shown straight to our table. The service was prompt, polite and friendly. The food was very tasty and priced reasonably. Will definitely go back.

One of the better ASK Italians out there. The pizza is well presented with good bread but could do with a touch more sauce. The pasta is similar to the others but the pizza was very high quality considering the other chains quality. Reliable place for a date.

Oh dear what has happened here. Food ok. Service diabolical. Not busy when we were there but took ages for everything to happen. Good only warm but it was the service today that was dreadful

Food was fantastic. Fresh, tasty and came out very quickly. Price is more than reasonable for the quality. The service stood out too. The staff were all friendly and helpful! Particularly Summer who was very accommodating of our little two year old terror. Can’t recommend enough especially if you have children.

Food frozen starters bland left it was disgusting

Came in the other day, was very busy but the two members of staff handled the the busy restaurant very well. The food was amazing and the drinks were good.

The service was extremely poor. I sat in the restaurant for more than half an hour on Monday evening without being attended . Really disappointed. In the end, no one came to serve me, and I had to leave. It was a very poor experience.

I waited in the restaurant for 40 minutes without anyone coming to take my order. During this time, I reminded the staff once or twice, and they kept saying they would be right with me, but they never came. The waitstaff kept passing by and serving others, but they never took my order. People who arrived after me were already getting their orders taken. I seriously suspect that they are discriminating against Asians!

I have ordered food for delivery before from Ask, it used to be lovely. I used to love their courgette fritti, they were just like the picture, this time they gave me the scraps, scrag ends of them. The pizza wasn't cooked properly it was doughy and soggy. I won't be getting anymore deliveries from them, they have lost me as a customer! Waste of money.

We went at 3pm on a Saturday, it was quite quiet but still a few people there. The food was lovely and the service was great. I was heavily pregnant at the time, literally 4 days off giving birth and the waitress was really kind and gave us a table with more room and kept me supplied with plenty of water.

Come for lunch today service was poor considering it was quiet and only 5 tables in ? No check back over food ? If they had I could have told them my burrata was sour ? They cleared our table and could see the meal was pretty much intact . Food pretty poor in general burnt dough balls , over cooked calamari like rubber and the rest of the food was Luke warm . Asked us 3 times about more drinks tho . Asked for our bill and got it with a service charge of £8 nearly £9 I told him to remove it and I left a £9 cash tip . Not very deserved in fairness but I try to be polite . Also ordered the Chicken lecca ? 5 pieces received 3 told the waitress? She took my plate away and I said just remove it from my bill she insisted my two other pieces were ready ? So I accepted that and had it boxed to take away . Such a shame because are visit last time was amazing . Definitely not going to eat there again

Me and my boyfriend visited here this evening for my birthday and we had such a good experience. Our waitress Hayley was so attentive and anccomodating to suit our needs. The service was extremely quick. Our food was lovely and it was such a lovely atmosphere. We will definitely be visiting again in the future :)

I went with my wife for lunch today. The restaurant was very quiet which affected the atmosphere rating but the service and most importantly the food was very very good.

Nice tasting food portions are small for the money. So if you're after a hearty italian meal, this isn't the place, unfortunately. The he service is pleasant and attentive if needed. Not much of an atmosphere, just a quiet place to eat.

A nice place to eat after a hard day shopping or for a spot of lunch. Good food which you can see being cooked and prepared. There is plenty of choice with good vegetarian and free from options.

It’s a pity that there are such mixed Trip advisor reviews and no one seems to answer / reply from the Ask Group management. We visited on Mother’s Day, pre booked, it was very busy at around 1.30pm, we found the staff very friendly and helpful, nothing was too much trouble. The whole of the dining experience was excellent, great service, quality food, can’t fault it. The only thing to mention was we were running late, due to traffic and problems parking. We duly contacted the restaurant out of courtesy, to inform them that we would be 10mins late. The member of staff answering our call, stated “ If you do not arrive in the next 5mins, you will have 90mins to vacate your table “ When we we had finished our meals and left the premises at approx 3:30 pm the premises was 90% empty ??? Maybe some staff training is required on customer service by phone.

The food is very good quality and tasty. Reasonable price and the staff with smiling face is a merit. Recommend!

While out shopping in Warrington town centre, we decided to have lunch in Ask Italian. I've not visited this eatery before. Upon entering, the staff were very welcoming and directed us to a nice table. The dining 🍽 area is very well appointed, bright clean, and there's a lively, if not slightly, noisy atmosphere. Our orders were taken promptly. Regarding the food, I had linguini carbonara ,cost around £14, I don't want to be negative about this eatery However, I thought the dish I ate was rather bland, it lacked seasoning, and there was hardly any panchetta in the dish. I wouldn't describe the food as authentic Italian food,as I've recently visited Italy and the food there was on different levels at similar price points. I suppose it's a matter of taste and opinion regarding food. I'm sure many people think the foods are excellent. I personally wouldn't go there again to eat. But regarding the staff and service, it was excellent

Ordered at 7:30 and happy with food being delivered 8:20-8:40. At 8:30 estimated delivery time changed to 8:45-9:00, apparently the food was still being prepared 1 hour after ordering. 9pm delivery time changed again 9:10-9:30! Would I have ordered if it had said this when I first looked...no. At 9:10 finally food was out for delivery, although it still didn't arrive until 9:25. The food was Ok, not that warm but good flavour. Would I order again, no. Online orders are clearly not a priority.

A previous visit was OK, service was painfully slow but we’d received vouchers so decided to give it another go. Really wish we hadn’t. Staff were appalling! Rude, aggresive and didn’t know the difference between a gift voucher and a perk. Told us vouchers didn’t count as money…waving a piece of paper in our faces that stated the opposite to what the waitress was telling us. Asked for a manager and she told us the manager was too busy for us 😂, then claimed she was a manager… Never responded to my complaint via email despite advising they would!

The food is excellent and it is served quite quickly. The service is great. Best calamari and best mayo to go with it. Only down side is price, even though atmosfere, service and food are great, the prices are too high and in some cases, bordeline stealing. £3.50 for a coke ( 330ml ) ??? Same price for a glass of apple juice ??? Also the meals are a bit on the expensive side, don't get me wrong, the food is very good and the quality of the ingredients is great too, but the prices are just over the top. £70 for a meal for 2 people and one child is way too much .

Had a rolled garlic bread with caramelised onions , think they forgot to add garlic it was tasteless , my wife had a bruchetta and had to ask for more cheese on it , my pasta was over done and was crispy on top due to being over heated , the seat we had was in-between two doorways one for toilet and one for takeaways was a cold draught every time someone used the doors . Disappointing visit however the young waitress Summer that served us was a credit to them and should be working at more up class restaurant she was very professional, helpful and very polite 10/10

The food was good but not great, I feel as though mainly the starters were underwhelming. The service was good but a little absent. On a positive note, it's in a great location in the centre of Warrington, so loads of parking.
