Had an excellent lunch here - fabulous homemade broth, followed by a perfect flat white and a double biscuit. And served with a smile!

Very long wait to order and then again for food to arrive. Lukewarm coffee needed to be drunk very quickly so a real waste of time going. Won't bother coming back.

Excellent dog friendly place, the food is amazing as is the service, the staff are superb and could not do enough to ensure you have a lovely experience, the Latte is a must.

Fantastic food. Great service. Dog friendly. Definitely choose here if you are looking for food in Callander. We tried a few others first and none were as welcoming or offered as good a menu.

A really well run cafe/restaurant in callendar situated above a clothing shop which you must go through to take the stairs up to the atrium. A bright and airy space , well decorated with many colourful painting and prints for sale. The menu is comparatively small but all dishes are prepared freshly and presented well. The food was very tasty and prices are reasonable. I will definitely visit again, highly recommended.

Damn good halloumi sandwich and coffee

Ordered a panko crumbed chicken sandwich and was expecting a much smaller piece of chicken than I received - there must have been half a chicken in there! Sandwich was delicious, as was the side salad

Excellent cafe upstairs inside a beautiful upmarket clothes shop. We have soup and a sandwich + a pot of tea 🍵. Everything was spot on. Lovely staff. Hot food . Nice atmosphere.. highly recommended

Very quiet on our arrival mid-late morning for brunch; got busier for lunchtime. Good food + snacks/cake selection/drinks in very pleasant surroundings. Good, friendly service. No lift but fairly easy stairs. Good outdoor clothing etc shop below. Revisited Aug. 2024, on a drizzlly morning, fairly early. A welcoming, cosy place, out of the poor weather. A steady trickle of people in for coffee/cake/brunch etc. As good as I remembered. And a good selection of upmarket outdoor clothing down on the ground floor, as before.

A Hearty Breakfast at The Atrium Our recent breakfast at The Atrium was a delightful experience. The restaurant's warm and inviting atmosphere, punctuated by a stunning wall adorned with Highland cow imagery, created a charming and comfortable setting. The star of the show was undoubtedly the pancakes. Fluffy, generously sized, and with a homemade taste, they were a perfect start to the day. Accompanied by crispy bacon, it was a classic breakfast combination executed to perfection. My young son was equally enthralled by his hearty meal. My wife opted for a poached egg dish, which she thoroughly enjoyed. The eggs were cooked to her liking, and the accompanying elements complemented the dish well. To complete the meal, we savoured an excellent coffee and a pot of earl grey. They were rich, flavorful, and the perfect accompaniments to our breakfast. Overall, our breakfast at The Atrium was a wonderful experience. The food was delicious, the service was friendly, and the ambience was delightful. We would highly recommend it to anyone seeking a satisfying and enjoyable breakfast.

I recently visited the Atrium Cafe Restaurant in Callander for lunch and was really impressed. I brought my dog and enjoyed the soup of the day, which was sweet potato, coconut, and chilli.. it tasted amazing. I also had a BLT, which was delicious. The service was great, and the prices were very reasonable. I would highly recommend coming here if you’re looking to have breakfast or lunch. I'll definitely be back next time I'm in Callander!

This is a great place for lunch. Amazing food with very friendly staff.

This used to be one of my favourite places to eat but since new ownership the entire lunch menu seems to have changed to sandwiches and nothing else. We looked at the menu and ended up just having to leave. If the new owners could just offer a selection of proper food for lunch, including something for children, I'm sure I and many other people would be back right away. We ended up going across to the Waverley which was really good.

I have come here many times over the past few months. The schnitzel was my absolute favorite with the potato salad. It is heart breaking that the entire menu has changed. Very disappointing. New menu is very mediocre at best. I used to bring everyone to visit me here to the cafe. I don’t think I’ll be coming back. Used to be my favorite food in Scotland.

A bright and airy cafe, with a good selection of hot drinks and herbal teas. They offer some gluten free cakes, if anyone needs to avoid gluten, but they aren't served in a safe way for people with coeliac disease, so we haven't tried them.

Service was really friendly and quick. Our dog was really welcomed if you are in the area well worth a visit.

Nice comfortable location, good coffee but mediocre food. I had a coffee to drink, which was lovely and smooth, flavourful. Wife had the tea which was pretty nice. For food I ordered the shakshouka which I found distinctly average. The ingredients were fresh enough, but it overall seemed to miss the mark of good shakshouka, which should have punchy spices with crispy and caramelised bits - this was a tin of tomatoes boiled up with slices of pepper and a poached egg plopped on top. It wasn't terrible or inedible or anything, just not that great and not really worth the 11 quid. Wife had the black pudding 'open sandwich' which was, similarly, tasty enough in its own way, but was lacking something light to counterpoint the heaviness of the meat and carbs. In summary, coffee was nice but I wouldn't eat here again.

Opens at 9.30 but there’s no breakfast food? Closest thing on offer was a single poached egg in a bed of runny tomatoes and peppers for £10.50. Had black pudding on menu but only on one meal option. Was advised they stopped doing breakfast 6 months ago. Left me and my partner sitting rather embarrassed at 9.30 trying to decide between the fish and chips and a sandwich with crips for breakfast. Instead we made the mistake of the £10.50 egg. I love shasuka but uh yeah that wasn’t great. Sad as we chose this as our last stop on way home for ….breakfast…

Been here so many times over the years. A perfect place to shop (downstairs) and then head upstairs to have a nice lunch with the doggies. Lovely foods with good portion sizes. Highly recommend if you are passing through.

The Atrium is part of CCW outdoors clothing store. Both Atrium and CCW are dog friendly and have welcoming staff. Food is good with table service.

Always grab a bite to eat when I’m here. It’s a nice place to eat and the food is tasty compared to other options in the local area. It is good to pop into CCW for shopping and then pop upstairs for a bite to eat. Staff are always friendly and attentive.

Lovely little place to grab a bite. Staff were friendly and polite, coffee was great and food was excellent. I had the day's special which was whipped goats cheese, beetroot and candied bacon and it was absolutely delicious. Will definitely go back when out and about in Callandar.

Lovely cafe on the upper floor of CCW outdoor clothing store. Building looks like an old dept store with a big staircase. Staff are always friendly and polite. Food and drink are fresh and taste home made. I would have given it 5 stars but depending on where you sit it can be a bit cool. I know I'm nitpicking and its because of the high ceiling. I go every time I visit Callander.

Stumbled upon this gem of a place after an early morning walk on a very cloudy day. The Scottish fish chowder with garlic bread definitely hit the spot 👌🏾Coffee is really good too

Great place to pop by for a coffee visit. Ambiance is also superb. Be aware it is located inside another shop but there should be signs.

Fantastic place to eat. Food was absolutely gorgeous, service fantastic and nothing was a problem to the young waitresses. We couldn't finish ours, very generous portions so took the rest away with us. Definitely be back. Keep up the good work everyone. Ps highly recommend Chicken Schnitzel with Potato Salad and Cream of Mushroom Soup.

Had heard about this place and how you you could get a dog bed to use whilst in the cafe & so dog friendly etc. It sounded right down our street for our dogs. However….on entering the shop we saw so many signs instructing customers with dogs to be very mindful to ensure that their dog didn’t foul inside the shop ? Some staff also seemed to be loitering watching and it really made us feel uncomfortable. We decided not to stay for anything to eat or drink and move on. In our opinion there really wasn’t a need to put these sort of signs up, we’ve never encountered anything like this elsewhere, ever. Such a shame as the reviews seemed so encouraging. If the owners are trying to encourage dog owners to spend their time and money here it seems a strange way of going about it ?

Really good food, the fish and chips is top on! It also helps being dog friendly (staff gave loads of treats to the pup). Also, have some cake... it's to dying for!

Really great place. Airy, peaceful, even with several dogs in situ! Plenty of room between tables ensuring you don't have to wedge your dog under the table to allow waitresses to pass. Most attentive and pleasant staff, and food was great. Dog biscuits and water on hand too.

We love stopping here on our way further north. There is parking on the side road opposite. The restaurant is located up a central staircase inside the CCW Store. It is dog friendly, and there are dog beds, drinking water and treats, for the comfort of your pets. The food is always piping hot and delicious, with a good variety of cakes and sweet treats.

First of all, Food - Excellent Service - Excellent Good choices of sandwiches, cakes and other delicious sounding dishes. Very dog friendly with dog beds, treats and bowls of water available. Would certainly return and happily recommend to others in the area looking for a pleasant spot for a drink and bite to eat.

Always go to this restaurant when visiting Callander

Scone Rangers visited the Atrium Cafe in early February, and we found ourselves agreeably surprised by the quality of the scones and coffee. I say surprised because Scottish tourist cafes are not always of the highest standard. I can’t speak for larger meals but the scones were of the best quality though they were sprinkled with sugar which I found both odd and unnecessary. The coffee was delicious and the service first class. The place itself is light and airy with lots of tables. We found it comfortable and welcoming. Overall, a very good experience.

This place is excellent! If you’re lucky enough to get a table by the window you can enjoy your breakfast/brunch/lunch with views out toward Ben Ledi, the mountain beyond Callander. Even if you don’t get one of those tables the whole restaurant is filled with natural light thanks to a huge section of the roof given over to glass. The food is top notch too and there is always something truly special on the specials board. I had the venison goulash which was such high quality I wasn’t expecting it to be so good. Dog and child friendly with plenty of choice in food, drinks and desserts. Would highly recommend.

Really good flat white, super smooth and very nice Honeycomb Cheesecake, just the right level of sweetness post Munro (Ben Vorlich is awesome btw!). Nice atmosphere, local art on the walls and a decent vibe above the CCW Outdoor Shop.

Cafe is above an outdoors shop so I wasn’t expecting much BUT they had big portions of great food. £12 a head with a coffee and a main. Also, really great service with very friendly and attentive staff. Best place for food and coffee in Callander, would seriously recommend this place!

The lunch was fantastic, black pudding stack, potatoes scone, poached egg on toasted sourdough bread. Delish. Service was fast and didn't feel rushed when finished eating even when there were people waiting for tables.

Lengthy delay after ordering food despite having being issued with our hot drinks. Food was expensive. To be fair they did replenish our hot drinks. Won't be rushing back.

It’s a great experience. The ambiance is very welcoming and charming. Amazing Breakfast and service. Traditional Scottish foods, Staff are extremely knowledgeable and make great recommendations.

Really nice setting for a morning cuppa and a cake, it's dog friendly too, which is one of the main reasons we picked here for a break as we were driving to the Trossachs. Lots of drinks and some tasty cakes on offer.

I visited the Atrium with my wife last week and had two superb flat white coffees. We like a strong coffee and the helpful staff presented our drinks with a jug of frothy milk to add as we required. This is first class service with a smile! If you are in Callander I recommend a visit. You will not be disappointed.

Service a bit slow but delicious food and cakes. It's upstairs in the outdoor clothing shop so easy to miss.

Pretty backwards menu for 2022. Very weird they vegan desserts but not mains food. Otherwise the food and slices were very very good. A lot of potential to differentiate from every other cafe nth of Edinburgh I've downgraded this to one star after speaking to the barista face to face - what a rude person. Get away from customers of you can't be nice.

Fantastic place to visit. They offer so many varieties of coffee, food or cakes/sweets. Great prices and you can sit inside or out by the fire or simply on the porch. They offered us a blanket as it was a bit cool sitting outside by the Loch.
