Bambudda Darlington in Darlington

Reservamos mesa abajo, pero tuvimos que sentarnos arriba en la mesa al lado de la puerta exterior que se abría constantemente. Incluso después de pasar a una mesa diferente, tuvimos que sentarnos con abrigos puestos. El servicio fue muy lento con ambos cursos que tienen alimentos perdidos. La comida estaba fría. Las porciones son mucho más pequeñas, lo que está bien si usted está pidiendo platos múltiples, pero los tiempos de espera son demasiado largos para hacer esto. Siempre nos ha gustado ir aquí, pero no volveremos.

Food always good, hope it doesnt change too much now it has new owners. Amazing all you can eat deal is our favourite.

Bajando colina. Solía ser uno de nuestros favoritos, pero la comida era terrible esta vez. El restaurante estaba vacío, pero diré que la camarera era brillante! Amable y atento! ¡Confundido al ver sus cócteles y bebidas vibrantes habituales, fue reemplazado por un pequeño menú de cócteles! Teníamos el jardín que era agradable, pero por un £ 5 era básicamente jugo de piña y menta! Las galletas de langostinos gratis llegaron - genial, pero la salsa era vil .. uno era un satay cálido, pero sabía horrible. Tuvimos el buffet y no fue nada agradable! ¡Lío frito! ¡Sin sabor, pero solo salado! Después de un rápido google para ver por qué y que de hecho habían perdido su licencia ojalá incluso les hubiera dado mi negocio! Vergüenza como solía ser tan bueno

La comida estaba deliciosa como siempre. Sabroso, caliente, perfectamente cocinado y abundante. Personal amable y consiguió un cóctel de frutas gratis para mi cumpleaños. Ojalá abriesen uno en Yarm como está más cerca de nosotros.

Great concept of all you can eat but cooked to order and at a reasonable price. Could be improved by installing lift to upstairs.

The staff,food and drinks where amazing and very tasty and perfect portion size.

Went here for the first time, and it did not disappoint! We were seated in the upstairs area which is lovely. We opted for the tapas style menu, the food portions were perfect for trying plenty of the menu, real good range of drinks to choose from too. The service was brilliant right from the start. Would highly recommend.

Nice place for Chinese tapas. Not the best I've ever had but better than many around. Busy over weekends I would suggest going on a weekday and it's cheaper too

Nice little spot in Darlington for chinese/that food buffet style but you order your food and they bring it out to you the chicken and duck is halal

Seré totalmente honesto todo el lugar olía a humedad. Las porciones de comida eran diminutas y las patatas fritas de sal y pimienta eran solo patatas fritas con algunas cebollas arrojadas sobre ellas, absolutamente sin sabor. Pedí un cóctel de calaveras y el vaso y la calavera estaban tan sucios que no bebí nada de eso. Acabamos de pagar nuestras £ 60 después de haber comido una patata frita cada uno y un poco de pollo seco y nos fuimos a Nando's "

Restaurant was busy but they fitted us in at the last minute. Food was lovely and I really like the ‘Chinese tapas’ idea coupled with the set price. Staff helpful and courteous. I’ll be back when next in the area!

We were just visiting the area, didn't know where to eat so checked what restaurants were highly rated. Sooo glad we came here! The staff, food, restaurant were all superb. It was a special weekend away with parents and I wanted it to be a good meal and leave happy memories and our evening did just that. If we lived in the area we would frequent. Thank you for superb food and a very welcoming staff.

Just a great meal out. Staff can't do enough for you, constantly back and forth to take drinks and food orders. Food is great, always piping hot and delicious. Definitely recommend if in need for Chinese food in Darlington

Wonderful staff, so friendly and attentive. Selected the all you can eat buffet on a weekday evening; dishes were so tasty and the perfect size that you could try many different ones. The cocktails were fabulous and the puddings were delicious. Will definitely be coming again, can't rate it highly enough.

Great experience, went for all you can eat lunch. Unlike some places, everything is cooked to order, all super hot when it reaches you. Quite surprised(pleasantly tho) even the "main" dishes were starter sized, which meant you could try so many dishes before becoming full! Service was excellent. Will be going again...... soon.

Very bad experience. First we booked for upstairs but were asked to stay downstairs very close to the door. Then we were offered a different location but that was worse . It was smelling poo from a possible nearby toilet. We complained and were now taken upstairs . The food was fair though the smallest portions I have ever seen. The ambience generally did not impress me.

Lovely warm welcome, we chose 'all you can eat' and my partner definitely got his money's worth 🙈 Food was delicious, there was a little wait but the restaurant was quite busy - nothing a bit of conversation didn't fill. Drinks were very reasonably priced, and every member of staff we spoke to was very polite and welcoming 😊

Always fantastic food with quick and friendly service. Only issue is the music being slightly too much for the restaurants vibe in my opinion (with a live DJ playing club type music). However, will always goes back as the food is excellent!

We decided to give this place a try after being let down by another restaurant- and are we glad!! Good food, fancy drinks, all reasonably priced and the staff are lovely! For the majority of the time we had Kieran and he was diligent, polite, charismatic and kind. If you get him you’ll luck out on the whole dining experience- all the staff are very responsive and kind/ friendly and welcoming!! We Shall be returning very soon!!

Unbelievable tasty food cooked fresh, the all you can eat is fantastic value for money, you just keep ordering from the menu until you're full and the cocktails are beautiful.

Excellent value on the all you can eat table service. Brilliant choice and cracking quality and the service is great. We most recently visited on valentine's day and despite it being pretty busy, our waitress was always there to take our orders. Cocktails are also great, their mojito is on point. We will be back (again!)

Really nice place, plenty of parking, clean, modern and nice atmosphere. The staff were fantastic and even though it was bust we were attended to at all times. The disappointment for me was the food, not bad at all, but I've been to a lot of Chinese restaurants, buffets etc and had a nicer more authentic meal. I would recommend trying it and making up your own mind though.

Feel like I live here, it's always my first go to when we fancy food out. Can't beat it Special mention for our waiter Keiran, so so polite, attentive without been OTT . Very natural, helpful, lovely young lad

Food overpriced and disastrous, never had s Thai red curry taste like that. Lemon Chicken glazed in air freshener. Salt and Pepper platter had never seen salt, chillies or peppers. Had far better from your average local Chinese takeaway. Only saving grace probably the hot and sour soup. Cocktails aren’t bad. Price for this area is ridiculous. Avoid!

Wow, wow ,wow. Well guys what can I say. This has got to be the most overrated establishment in darlington. Totally spoilt what was set to be a good evening. Don't kid yourselves, your getting value for money, because your not.please please please stay well clear.twice I asked to speak to the manager, and I was dismissed by the staff. Substandard food, and appalling customer service. The chicken was processed and not fresh.eat and regret, we have.

I've been here a few times now and the food is always great served quickly, and piping hot. Ther service is always great too. Great place for a meal with parking just to the side aswell

We went for the buffet service. The starters were okay but the main dishes were poor. Much inferior to a traditional Chinese buffet. I would not recommend the buffet service and perhaps opt for the Al la carte menu 🤔

One to avoid for vegans and vegetarians. I was served meat instead of the vegan option I asked for. As an apology they didn't charge for the item they served incorrectly.

Been here a few times, The food is always great! Definitely worth going especially for the cocktails.

This place is lucky google review won’t allow less than one star. Absolutely shocking place and service, one of our dishes came out - chips to go with it were never to be seen. We ordered a platter between two of us, waited 20 minutes for the starter and then continued to wait another hour for our mains. When they decided to bring them out it wasn’t even what we had ordered, however we decided we to just eat anyway as we’d been waiting an hour and a half so far. A couple of minutes later the waiter came back out and said he was taking it away as it wasn’t ours, even though we were in the middle of eating it. He apologised and said our food was ready right now and he was bringing it out. 25 minutes later still no food. At the end we decided to just leave, and to top it off they still had the balls to charge us £36 for one pad thai and a starter. Absolutely shocking service wouldn’t recommend whatsoever.

It is so nice to have an East Asian styled place to eat at again. The atmosphere is great with how lovely the decor is. The staff are friendly and helpful. And the best bit is the food. I've only really experienced the all-you-can-eat menu so I can't speak for the dishes not on there, but everything is so delicious and flavorful! (The salt and pepper ribs are a memorable highlight. Can never get enough of those.) And the servings are so nicely sized that it means you can attempt to sample quite a bit of the menu on your visit with minimal amount of waste possible. The cocktails are also fun and the desert menu has some lovely choices. It's wonderful going here with family and friends whenever can. If I could I'd be there on the regular. There's just not many places in Darlo that reach my expectation of such good food. It is well worth the price in my opinion.

Great restaurant, been a few times and have always gone for the all-you-can-eat menu, great dishes which come on small plates so you can try lots of different things. All of the staff are always very friendly - we even got a free treat on our anniversary. The only criticism I have is that the all-you-can-eat menu has stayed the same for a long time, would be cool to see some new dishes from time to time.

Probably the best Chinese restaurant in the North East for dim sum... In fact, yes I'm going to reinstate that! This restaurant in my mind shares first place for best Chinese restaurant in the entire North East with just one other. And I'm not about to tell you which one because it would be unfair to Bambudda .....Well... you got to respect the Budda ! Beautiful place to dine, pleasant staff. Great food.... On the cusp of being led commercially into a chain perhaps. I just hope they always retain this quality of food. No microwave ding to be heard in this kitchen that's for sure.

Visited Bambudda to celebrate a birthday and had originally felt very sceptical (i’m a very fussy eater!). I was very pleasantly surprised by the buffet menu as there were plenty of dishes to suit everyone! The staff here are incredible and run the buffet fantastically - thank you girls! I will definitely be visiting here again! P.s. I highly recommend the chicken nuggets.

I had the best pan fried noodles (with bean sprouts) in my life till now. The taste was very distinct , I also tried to recreate it but could not. Definitely going back for them. We also ordered spring rolls, gyozas and prawn crackers. Srping rolls on the other hand were not that great. Beautiful plating, nicely presented, quick service and atmosphere was nice too.

Better than your run of the mill 'all you can eat' Chinese restaurants. The interior is quite splendid and tastefully decorated. The ambience is just right. I particularly liked the balcony area and can imagine it being a great experience on a warm evening. I can't fault the service from all the staff. Overall, a good experience.

Overpriced as compared to other Chinese restaurants in Middlesborough or Durham. Service was worst of all. The waiters were ignoring us several times when I called her. Food was ok but not great. At the end the manager tried to rob me by adding 5.5 pounds extra to my bill when I swiped my card which had only enough money to pay the exact bill and the transaction was declined I asked him what is it.? He said I added 5.5 pounds of optional service charges (Without asking me or letting me know) then he removed that. Not a pleasant experience!

Have visited Bambudda a few times with friends, it’s absolutely incredible. The atmosphere and decor is unmatched. The food and cocktails are next level.💥 Above all - the staff at the restaurant take the cake 🤩 So attentive, welcoming and proud of the restaurant, as they should be! My all time favourite restaurant 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟💫

My favourite restaurant by far! Beautiful food (especially the soft shell crab!) , tasty cocktails and really helpful staff. Just to add- I came with family from Thailand and Hong Kong and they absolutely loved the food!!

Absolutely amazing food, good drinks, friendly customer service, would come here again for special occasions. Our server on section B was amazing too. Very kind and did his best to make sure to check on us as often as he could while busy.

Usually fantastic but our visit last night was a real disappointment. The food was not to its usual high standard.. burnt-tasting pan fried chicken noodles, virtually no chicken or other meats in the rice and noodles dish. Lemon chicken had virtually no chicken and was nearly all bread crumb with only a teaspoon of lemon sauce. Over priced drinks ( two cokes). The staff were exceptional though. Really prompt and professional. We were disappointed though, so just left earlier than planned.

Good tasty food. Like the concept of unlimited food. Rather than buffet style it's freshly made unlimited small portions you order unlimited times.. Only downside is it closes early so gotta get in early so you can take your time and eat.

We were a party of 16, family get together. Staff very friendly & attentive. Special mention to our waitress Fiona who was fabulous 👌 . Service very good considering such a large party. Rooftop terrace for cocktails after our meal excellent
