Delivery drive was nice he apologised for food being late unfortunately it arrived barley warm and inedible so luckily it was chicken and chips so it went to the dog this place used to be amazing has gone down hill so bad don’t like leaving bad reviews but I’m truly shocked will be using a diffrent takeaway from now on

absolutely love this place, usually deliver before the estimated time and the food is super tasty! I want to apologise to my delivery driver though, the dog was coming so I had to close the door in his face 😅 heck of a handsome smile though!

Food was piping hot and so delicious, house special curry and chips and house special catonaise style with rice was so nice and yummy, Tender meat and lovely spring rolls too, not too big just enough. Very pleased and definitely go again. Delivery was good and lovely driver. Very pleasant

Tuve una gran comida para llevar aquí. Pollo chow mein, pollo con chile miel crujiente y rollos de primavera eran todos excelentes. Sin embargo, la salsa de curry no era buena, podía usar más sabor. El servicio era muy bueno. Vale la pena señalar que es solo efectivo. Sin duda volvería si viviera en la zona.

Delivery was quick, food was average. The duck was very poor in comparison to other restaurants we have used, the salt and pepper chips very undercooked.

waited so long for our food the second estimated time of arrival had passed! the chicken used looked like sandwich chicken not fresh chicken and it was all very bland. won't be using these again!

Pre-ordered a take-away. The food was tasty and portions were sufficient. Not fully what we thought it was, but still good. Might try other dishes.

The JustEat App told us it was delivered about 19:10 but it didn't arrive until 19:40. We placed our order at 18:10.

Chow mein was lovely and hubby devoured it. House special pineapple dish was delicious however beef was very chewy. Very hot thou and won tons were great... But sweet and sour sauce is way too sweet

Cold food. Rang up and they sent a full new order out which was great. Food quality was absolutely rubbish. Chips were recooked and brown and crispy beef tasted like there was no beef inside.

The gravy was black and almost solid, chips barely cooked and chicken balls were 90% batter. Won’t order again

Very dissappointed as we have had food from china star for years always had excelent food and good portions I have had the same dish on numerous occassions .However tonights order of honey chilli chicken was less than half of a small tub which is less than half of the usual portion.Not likely to be ordering from here again.😒

Food good as normal but was asked to pay extra when food arrived. Bill was correct through paypal and menu.i just dont understand payed the extra anything for an easy life.

Chips where like rubber and warm Curry sauce was OK Chow main was very dry Prawn Crackers Must of them were very soft and few where fresh and crunchy. Not impressed this time around unfortunately 😕

Food arrived hot and was delicious. Chicken curry with boiled rice, vegetable spring rolls and prawn crackers - last two items were a substitute for an item ordered which was unavailable. Member of staff contacted me shortly after the order was placed to inform me of the item unavailable and quickly rectified my order. Definitely order again.

My food beef and tomato’s was nearly all juice the graveyard and chips there was little graveyard on the chips as it was leaked all over the other food

Best place in town! 10 actual chicken balls with a soft crispy soft batter! Beautiful! Cantonese is unreal ! All the chow mains are NEXT LEVEL! salt and pepper chips… is pretty good could have a little more spice mind. Every time I get their is ready for me ! 9.5! Love it !

Well, not normally someone who will leave a review, but I thought this needed attention. The chicken in both the Kung Po and Chicken Cantonese was 8 mm sliced (PRE COOKED) and re heated chicken. It was not freshly cooked (You can tell by the texture and colour). Overly spiced to hide the bland pre-processed taste, as I found out when I wiped off the source. I would not recommend this restaurant for this reason alone. Delivery time was ok and the food was hot, but the chicken thing really bugged me.

The whole meal was lovely especially the salt and pepper chicken, good decent portion aswell! Delivery driver was nice and friendly aswell which is a bonus

Ordered at 18. 03 rang twice after 1900 as still no delivery, very abrupt response on telephone, meal arrived at 17. 25 cold and driver said he'd had a flat tyre.

I've never not finished a Chinese before let alone, binned it. However this did not do it for me, it was like hot mush, bland with bits in... noodles were so greasy it's made me feel unwell, even the fried rice was a sad shadow of what it could have been. I'm sure I've ordered from here before and it's been okay but sadly, this meal was a failure and is in the bin. :C

Absolutely disgusting food, dry and tasteless and the chips had no curry on them it was 45 mins late despite justeat saying it had arrived therefore lying again pure utter rubbish service again justeat
