I have came with some friends who have been here before The meal I give is 4 out of 5 stars The staff 5 out of 5 The cleaness of the venue 5 out of 5 When my stake not seasoned The chicken could of bin by being put on the grill

Just currently sat here after having had the Sunday roast chicken. Wasn't asked at any point if everything was OK. The roast potatoes were very hard & chicken over cooked. Over all tge meal was 'well done' & dry. I wish l had taken a picture of it now. It is 6.30pm & finished. I feel the Sunday Roast should have a cut off time & not be left to go dry & hard & still served. We ate some of it cos both of us starving & hadn't eaten since 11am. The guy who served & collected os quick on his feet so Gome with the plates in a blink & l expected him to ask if everything was OK & l would have given him some feedback. Disappointing.😒

Friendly staff, lovely food and nice atmosphere

Lovely local pub, good food offers and great staff. Dale (the manger) and his family are doing a great job in making the Bell & Bottle the friendliest pub in the area. Encouraging a darts and pool team, improving entertainment nights and supporting the very popular Sunday quiz. Nothing is too much trouble if you ask, all the staff are wanting to make improvements and make it the best for the local community and wider visitors. Most afternoons are popular for tea time dinners and weekend meals. Well done Dale and team, you've made such a 'breath of fresh air' in only a few months and look forward to your summer plans! Enjoyed a lovely meal with a family of five, we all had something different from the menu and really enjoyed everything. The super friendly staff and the pleasent surroundings along with the delicious food made it a memorable experience. Have visited Bell & Bottle on many other occasions and will definitely be returning.

Visited here for boxing day, even though it was a busy day for the staff, it was well ran and staff were lovely. Food arrived quick and hot with plenty of choices on the menu especially with a vegetarian being in the family. The place was clean and tidy with a family atmosphere. We are regulars here and will continue to visit especially with new management.

We went for Christmas day dinner, arrived just in time for our time slot at 13:45 and was quickly seated. We where told someone will be over shortly to take our drink orders, our starters arrived quiet soon I had the tomato soup which was really nice but didn't give out enough butter for the rolls, still no one came to take our drink orders until after we finished them. 30mins we finally got our drinks. The main course arrived which was tge turkey with all the trimmings not a big veg eater but ate what I could. Would have loved more gravy. Finally the dessert came which was Christmas pudding could have had more it was that nice. Only Downside it would have been easier going to the bar and buying drinks rather than waiting for staff to take our order. Staff where very friendly and fair play to them on Christmas day

Visited for drinks and was pleasantly surprised by the improvement since my last visit. Kayla in particular was exceptional, happy to help, efficient and smiling. She is like a breath of fresh air. Thank you Kayla for making my visit so pleasurable.

The service at the Bell and Bottle is brilliant the team are always friendly and happy to help, food is your average pub grub but very nice and tasty. Well done to the team at the Bell and Bottle for starting to introduce live music, it's creating a lovely environment.

Food 10/10! Staff so lovely and accommodating!

The place was nearly empty in the eating area it was really cold moved tables to be near a radiator but it must of been set on low we had to put our coats back on waited ten minutes no staff in sight went to the bar to order food it arrived 15 mins later Mine was surf and turf 4 scampi was suppose to be a 8oz sirloin medium rare steak but it wasn’t sirloin and it must of weighed about 5oz and I’m being generous saying that a hand full of chips and a spoon full of of peas nothing else no tarts sauce no horseradish nothing the other was a beef burger on a bun with chips nothing else on the plate I couldn’t eat my steak it was full of gristle the manager finally arrived saying he can’t do anything about it but tell the supplier about the steak he said I can offer you 1 desert as compensation …..the presentation of the food was below basic skill verges on disgusting no wonder the place was empty on a Saturday night at 7.45pm……..about 3 months ago we had another meal there and when we were leaving we reported slug slime under the seats at various tables this place really needs to be shut down deep cleaned and get a decent staff and cook

We, as a party of 5 come here, as ex colleagues to meet every 3 months. Tried out the QR code for the first time, we had great fun. Disappointed that the mac and cheese wasn't on. All the other dishes were thoroughly enjoyed. Lots of extras to add on, when ordering but disappointed that I couldn't ask for extra custard. All told, we had an excellent night.

We pre booked Christmas lunch , and was looking forward to it . firstly we was seated at the wrong table and had to be moved, The pub was rather quiet and empty and we only saw two staff on duty. Our Christmas lunch arrived and looked nice but upon eating it some of the veg was on the firm side, the roast potatoes tasted like they had been dipped in the chip fryer, the food was rather bland and not very hot. We asked if we could order hot drinks and add them to our bill but was told to go to the bar and order them ourselves !! Having ordered them from the bar , the hot drinks machine wasn’t working and took a while to sort out, upon returning back to our table our desserts where served, one desert was missing the Icecream but upon looking around we didn’t see anyone to speak to , so we just ate it as it was, The lady did eventually appear and when we mentioned the dessert to her she just said - sometimes we get confused with the menus !! She said i can bring it now for you - errr NO , we have already finished eating and she then started stacking our coffee cups up to take away without even asking if we had finished !! Its not the best meal I have had and was rather disappointed with the whole experience !! Good customer service and a little attention to detail to make your customers feel welcome ensures a positive review and have customers returning .

Week what can I say, Dale and the team at the bell and bottle are simply amazing. Service is exceptional food is very good. We visit the pub a lot as it is our local and my family are always made to feel welcome especially my 2 yr old who is great like a little king thank you so so much

A great turnaround for the Bell & Bottle, every Credit to the new manager and his team. A very good chef, enjoyed every meal we have had at the Bell on the last 3 or 4 occasions. Very polite waitress ( Managers Mum) who was certainly on top of things, ) 👍

We love the Bell and Bottle and the service recently has been excellent with fab food and a great atmosphere. Can't wait to have my son's christening there in the function room, they were incredibly helpful with the planning!

Friendly staff that are very helpful. Accommodated our request due to my daughters birthday. Toilets were clean and entire pub was clean. Loved the idea of having games you can use at the table to pass time and keep conversations going.

Great food that was served very quickly, all the staff were fantastic but you had to go to the bar to order your food and drinks. You could order at the table off your phone but I couldn't be bothered.

On hearing of new owners we thought that we would give the Bell & Bottle a try and we were pleasantly surprised with the decor of the place and the very friendly greeting from the staff Carol & Jack ( A big change from our last visit ). The food was delicious, presented well, very tasty, plentiful and of a high quality. We will be definitely returning to try the rest of the menu and look forward to their Christmas meals. We would recommend. Thank you and see you again.

We arrived at 8.30pm and was hoping they were still serving food which they were. The food came quickly and was excellent. The staff were also very helpful and accommodating. We would highly recommend and wlll definitely return. 5 star all round. Many thanks.

Brilliant place to meet with friends. Function room is free to hire which is brilliant for us to play our weekly dungeons and dragons game.

Spur of the moment visit with family. A Halloween event was on and we were informed that there may be a bit of a delay on food due to this. Decided to stay anyway and I’m glad we did. Lots of variety on the menu. The meals we ordered were lovely and piping hot. Didn’t feel much of a delay either. The staff are very friendly and accommodating and we will definitely be visiting again. Highly recommend.

Do not bother going here. Slow service and best of all not all food on menu in stock. they have offered us 30% off and they couldn`t get us back. Advice, check out Joseph Holt pubs, fantastic. try waters edge at Lytham st Annes maybe the staff from the Bell and Bottle should go and see how far behind the curve they really are..shame for a marsden inn.

Lovely polite staff, nothing was too much to ask for. Excellent food, excellent service, great waiting times, great prices. Very clean, very welcoming. Great selection of activities for children have been introduced. Noticed adverts for a good range of events, good parking facilities.

So nice to see our local busy once more. Good food,friendly and attentive staff, really hope it continues. Great to have a pub and restaurant offering this with various entertainment nights too. Dale you're doing a great job.

Excellent meal and a fabulous way to spend our anniversary.

Went in after new takeover to see if there was any improvements. Two bar staff ignored us when we walked in as they tried to serve one customer a lemonade. Waited a few minutes at the bar then just walked out. Such a shame having a pub on our doorstep but it has nothing going for it. Overpriced beer, frozen microwaved food, no atmosphere and staff that can't be bothered.

Whilst working in the area, I thought I would try this pub for a lunch with colleagues. Service was excellent, speedy and efficient, great quality beverages and good food, well cooked, tasty, looked good on the plate and enjoyed by all. See you next time.

Nice little pub, atmosphere is laid back and relaxed, staff were welcoming and friendly however, the food was extremely poor. As we were short on time and I was starving I didn’t complain at the time so just ate my steak but it was overcooked and tasteless. I’d recommend visiting as I say, it’s a lovely little place, dog friendly too but the food unfortunately let it down.

Went in to look at space for a group dinner and they have a great function area! While there checked out the food and it was very nice. They were very friendly and flexible as we aren't yet sure if it will be a buffet or a sit down meal, they said they would do whatever we decided on. Thankyou to Dale for being so accommodating!

Great place to stop on the way to Lytham. We come over that way every so often, Love the little changes and the food was very tasty! Good job. Will definitely be back!

Very nice pub friendly staff they so well managed its the best pub in UK going to Blackpool I would definitely recommend this to anyone that's not been there before to go and visit it the bar mandes was so kind too I would definitely be going here now more time just to be in a happier pub also it looks like dogs are welcome to is just so stunning pub I would gave it 10/10 and more thank you so much for the love food and staff there

Short version this. Good food, sensibly priced & excellent service again. Been coming here for many years, seems to go up and down regarding food and service, but just now it is very good.

There was a party on at the time in the lounge area with live music. The lady singing was excellent and the bar staff were friendly and helpful. Great experience

Frankly this was a soulless experience. We came because we had our first date here 44 years ago (just celebrated 40 years of marriage) so were glad to see the Bell & Bottle was still there. The place is tired and dated. Table was tacky due to the varnish on it being old and peeling. Menus were sticky. Ordered using the QR code as no one came to serve. Husband had steak & ale purchase he said was ok. I had sirloin steak medium. Tough, tasteless and gristly. Presentation dreadful, all served on a plate with peas swimming in water, cheap oven chips, cold pre cooked tiny sliced mushrooms and a sauce described loosely as “Diane” for an extra £2 🤷‍♀️ the place is run by young staff who were polite but didn’t come near us to clear the table or ask if we wanted anything else. I took half the steak home to give to my dog and left everything else. No one asked why? Sadly given our first very happy visit all those years ago this trip down memory lane was diabolical!

The Scampi, Fish and Lasagne was liked and enjoyed so recommended and would return here if in the area again.

Well we're do I start! Was more or less empty when we arrived for a snack to eat..Tables grubby and sticky ..ordered a prawn cocktail. I mean you can't get that wrong,, can you? .My son had chicken wings with peri sauce. Side of chips. Took ages to arrive but thought ohhhh well its going to be good..My sons was served in a miniature tin pie dish and to my amazement as was my prawn cocktail! Prawns a mere few sat on a mere mixture of old onions lettuce and cucumber gone off. Absolutely disgusting to look at. 1 slice of old stale granary bread .Think been left out as was starting to toast itself. PRAWNS didn't look good so I decided to just not try. I felt insulted. Sons chicken wing were ok and frozen chips arrived ok. Lol what on earth is going on. More staff than customers. Did complain to staff sitting down instead of cleaning grubby sticky tables.No reply just stares.yukkkkkkķk avoid. I wish I could add a picture to show you.

The service and staff were very polite. Joe was exceptional. Very polite, very friendly and chatty, patient, attentive and very helpful. He stood out as caring for his customers and making sure their visit was spot on. The Bombardier cask ale was in excellent condition and so it seems the staff are keeping a very good cellar and looking after the cask ale well. Whilst we were a large group of 10, the speed of service was great and all of our food came out in good time, even with quite a few other visitors having sit down meals. The food was good and we all enjoyed our meals. Overall we had a very pleasant visit and came back again two days later as a result, whilst we were on holiday nearby.

To say I’m disappointed is an understatement. Don't bother asking for a large Sunday roast (more meat and an extra Yorkshire pudding) they aren't doing them. Defys logic! However if I am honest don't waste your money. Roast potatoes not home made straight out of a bag and soggy. Not sure if the turkey was recently connected to a bird. The peas were the best thing on the plate. The chef needs to add some flavour to their dishes. I know they have to reduce salt but even adding salt there was no flavour. Beef was OK. Yorkshire puddings are not difficult yet appeared to have previously been frozen and were strangely chewy. Had anyone bothered to come and ask how our meal was I would have told them all of the above. A place like that on a Sunday should be bouncing and I'm afraid there is clearly a reason why it's not.

Roadworks & traffic jams on M55 motorway! So took a detour and found this wonderful pub! Spacious car park! Pleasant staff on the bar & very tasty loaded fries with draught guiness of course!!! Good prices too! Will call again when visiting Blackpool!!!

The staff are pleasant enough but I don't agree with having to get your own menu cutlery and condiments , but it appears that a few pubs are going down this route. I might be old-fashioned but we think when you are seated in the dining area you expect to be served. Food is of the usual pub franchise quality nothing to get excited about but it is edible The drinks were two pint bitter Shandy's And a latte coffee which was all good. When we were there it was mid-afternoon and the place was quiet..

We had a roast dinner here today the food was piping hot beautifully cooked nicely presented .I had roast beef my husband roast chicken it was the nicest Roast we have had in a long time staff always polite and welcoming well worth a visit for a tasty meal thankyou .
