pizza over cooked and dry the beef lasagna very small potion for the price I've paid and arrived cold

£14.99 per Carbonara. 3 ordered so would have been £45 paid and the 3 little trays made up a plate full. Portion size was horrendous, all 3 were stone cold and to be honest, taste was poor except you could really taste the bacon pieces. Thankfully I had a code with money off, but I’m still angry that I paid what I did for such a poor quality of food and 3 people feeling like they haven’t eaten.

Food cold. Cookie dough wasn’t dough it was rock hard and inedible

We visited this evening for our son’s 7th Birthday. The service from Mark absolutely fantastic, he made so much effort to make our son’s birthday extra special. We have always had a brilliant experience when visiting this restaurant and we will definitely be back.

Last minute dinner as let down where we had been booked. Walked in and were seated immediately. Mark is amazing! Very welcoming, always cheerful and lots of fun. We had a birthday deal but Mark alerted us to a better one… Food was excellent. 🙂

We always visit BI as they offer a large range of gluten/dairy free options, staff are always so friendly and helpful, Mark is exceptionally welcoming and offers the best service, will always recommend BI.

Very good food and the staff are excellent. Spoilt slightly by the noisy kids birthday party that seemed to be largely unsupervised. Otherwise excellent.

Just had another wonderful Fun evening at the Bella Italia, once again the food was excellent and Mark made us giggle all evening with his fantastic front of house sense of humour. Will definitely be returning in 2025

The atmosphere in the restaurant was lovely and comfortable. We were greeted by lovely servers and served extremely quickly. the food and drink were fantastic. The vegetarian Calzone tasted gorgeous, it was a bit of a large portion but nothing to complain about!

Pizza was cold when it came out. The chips were Luke warm and the beer was Luke warm. The service wasn’t great yes it was quick service but I wasn’t asked if my meal was okay when I was eating and I wasn’t asked when I paid for my food if everything was okay. Eaten at better Italians. Pictures on the website are nothing like the food come out like (fake)

Took my 2 boys for dinner here and the service was great! Especially Poppy she made us feel welcome and was happy to help out when we spilt a full glass of juice all over the table! Definitely will be revisiting

Mark served us, very friendly and helpful. The meal was good but the tiramsu was extremely disappointing, it was tasteless and dense not the light creamy flavoured dessert it used to. The first time in years that we have been disappointed by part of the menu

We have eaten here before however this time around i was appalled. We entered the restaurant at 8:20pm and instantly got turned away for a table of 3, being told they was closing in 20 mins however i recall that on the website it states 9pm so correct me if i am wrong thats 40 mins until closing time. With all due respect i understand its a monday evening but its custom which i believe busineses are in need of more than ever. Such a shame, went to Harvester instead and food to service was on point. Thanks Jamie

We went to Bella Italia as a family of 5 on Sunday and the service was fantastic. Mark was incredible, he couldn't do enough for us and was extremely attentive ensuring the kids were quickly smiling again after a glass of water was spilt and a crayon snapped. Traje a mi hija para una cena de cumpleaños con 6 de sus amigos esta noche. Honestamente se lo pasaron de maravilla. Todo el personal era tan encantador y acogedor, haciendo todo lo posible para interactuar de una manera divertida y fresca! La comida era fantástica relación calidad-precio con las chicas pidiendo una comida para niños grandes cada uno. El personal hizo que mi hija se sintiera especial con una interpretación de cumpleaños y una vela en su postre! Muy recomendable y muchas gracias 😊

Mi esposa y yo fuimos llevados al Bella Italia para celebrar mi retiro por mi hija y su novio. Una vez más, la comida era fantástica y tuvimos la suerte de ser servidos de nuevo por uno de los mejores servidores frente a la casa que he conocido. Mark es muy gracioso con sus comentarios ingeniosos e hizo nuestra velada mejor de lo que esperábamos que fuera. Definitivamente volveré

La comida era muy buena una mesa llena de platos vacíos, recomendaría este restaurante a cualquiera.

Our first visit to this place. We went as a family to celebrate our Grandson Jakobs 16th birthday. The food was very good clean plates from everyone, our server Mark was very good made us feel welcome and the interaction we had was spot on a great laugh he made the evening real nice. Would recommend

Been a few times recently and really wanted to comment on how good the experience has been. Massive thank you to Mark and Jack. Mark is always ridiculously positive and welcoming everytime. He truly makes you feel like you are visiting a friend for dinner. Jack, cheers for thinking ahead and offering an additional plate for my young girls so they could share and let the food cool down. It seems rare now a days to get good customer service but you smash it today. Cheers

Huge thank you to Steph and her lovely team. Came in with my mother in law who has a disability and they couldn’t have been more helpful. Moving furniture for the wheelchair, making sure she was comfortable and had a cup that was easy to drink from. Not only was it excellent service but also immense kindness. Food was delicious too.

Had a bad experience here as the pasta wasn’t cooked properly. We gave it another chance, came back, and even asked to make sure the pasta was well cooked. It was the exact same. Sent it back and it came out the same yet again! Ok, they can’t cook pasta, so we asked for something else and the manager was surprisingly rude, acting like we were just being difficult. Would not come back here! An Italian place should at least be able to make an edible pasta dish!!

As usual the staff were welcoming and friendly - this is my restaurant of choice when in Peterborough on business each month. The people make it.

This is the worst take away I have ever ordered. The food was dry and tasteless, overpriced, they even forgot to add chips to my order, had to call for a refund not even an attempt to give a voucher ( not that I would go back to use! ) Supermarket pizzas are 10x better than what they serve here. Pizza, pasta and dessert tasted like store bought frozen foodI will not be ordering anything else from here ever!

Manage to get here after trying the day before with the kids and regardless of the fact that it was empty and we were about an hr early for the kids deal when we sat down i brought up that we were looking to get the kids deal they denied us the offer so we left. The next day came in, and it was during the kids eat free time we sat down and i was curious, so i asked if both kids would eat for free. Their reply was no only one. (No love for the single dad's here) To keep it short Food wasn't that great for the value The salad's portion was quite daunting The chef managed to make our kiddie a butter penne pasta to substitute one of the offerings. Good portion of pasta on that dish. Probably wont be showing up again. The single dad thing left a bad taste.

Huge thanks to Mark and Coleen! This Bella Italia restaurant is a fave of my two children and our visit this evening did not disappoint. Mark welcomed us all with such a warmth and great energy. He is fun, he engaged with all members of our party (although my daughter wasn’t so quick to pick up on his jokes) and I thought his ‘Happy Birthday’ vocals were not so bad! Coleen looked after us very well and also had a lovely energy and great customer focus. Never felt rushed, felt very relaxed and Mark & Coleen made sure to highlight various offers that were available. These two members of the restaurant team turned our ‘grabbing tea out for ease after a long day’ into a very enjoyable evening and looked after us like we were the only ones there! I also observed them treating all other customers with the same respect, and care. It got busier as the evening went on and I was pleased to see this. We were all pleased with our food choices, all arrived hot, all were enjoyed and nothing more we could ask for. Thank you chef. Mark and Coleen we will definitely be back and thank you for how well you looked after us and for the laughter!

The waiter and waitresses were extremely good and made us feel very welcome and valued customers - they are a credit to the restaurant. The Formaggio pizza and Gamberoni pasta tasted wonderful. I would highly recommend this restaurant

Same again last night. Great meal with an amazing set of waiters keeping all the children entertained and working hard.

The food was quick and mostly good. All the restaurants atmosphere was excellent and service was good polite and friendly which made a friendly atmosphere.

The biggest downshift for me is the cleanliness of the restaurant. Tables are sticky, seats with old dried sauce stains. Foods are pricey but ok - rightly done but not salted/spiced, neither decorated to restaurant level. The service we got from the waiter is 5 stars- very attentive and entertaining, waiting times for food are super short.
