Brasserie Transylvania - Erdélyi Étterem in Haringey

A cozy little restaurant with friendly staff and delicious food. I ordered the chicken paprika and will definitely revisit to try some of the other dishes on the menu. Good value for money, especially compared to some of the other restaurants on Green Lanes and definitely the best in this area. Highly recommend 👌

Absolutely amazing food, generous portions and sweet host (speaking a bit broken English, but his food is worthy to try) first time after many many years I felt I eaten my good old grandma food! :)

Visited over the weekend for the first time, my boyfriend who is Romanian was craving “home food” so we went here. Food was delicious, arrived quickly and the ladies serving were polite. Not sure why there’s so many poor ratings, we were fine the next day and didn’t have any problems. Definitely a great cosy spot if you’re looking for authentic Romanian food.

I wish I can give no star at all to this restaurant and the waitress lady.I have visited the restaurant today with 2 of my friends.AWFUL and AWFUL! the service is extremely unprofessional, not welcoming and slow. The food is undercooked with a pink smelly spoiled meat.I am 100% that I will send all the pictures I have taken to food standard agency! Reading some of the previous reviews with an unprofessional answer from the owner who have no respect to any of the visitors also make me believe that this place is the worst ever restaurant I have ever visited in the UK I would definitely not recommend it.Waste of money and horrible service with a horrible design that looks like you are entering to a BROTHEL!
