Mid afternoon is the perfect time to visit this popular establishment if you have not made reservations and do not like the high sound level at peak times. The small plates are delightful. The encrusted tofu in sweet ABC+soy sauce and chilli, cilantro, and spring onions is divine. The cod dumpling inspired, sitting in a textured ginger sauce. The tiramisu delicious. Will definitely return for more.

Standards have dropped a lot over the last year. Sorry, service was not its usual friendly and upbeat way. Food portion was small. Not value for money now in my opinion.

Great food, super friendly and fast service

While the ambiance was very relaxing, the service and food left a bit to be desired. Had to wait quite a while for my order to be taken even while resorting to attempting to flag down a waiter. Couldn't finish the black beans and mushroom off my plate, even though I usually love consuming both. The rest of my dish was sufficient, however.

I love the area, the building is amazing but that's where the good points stop! We were a party of 6 people having Breakfast before heading off into London for the day. My Breakfast 'The fry' was just not hot enough! I like my food hot.

Food wasn’t as good as I would have hoped. Descriptions of breakfast options were misleading and what did appear was overcooked and lukewarm warm. Staff were pleasant and helpful.

Great place, awesome food and incredible staff. I dont usually review the places we visit but everything in this restaurant was outstanding, specially all the staff from the people in the kitchen who you could see cooking while waving and smiling to us to every waiter/waitress that atended to us. They made a regular dinner feel as a special event and we are really greatful for that. Thank you for that and wish you all the best, you deserve it 😘

Our food was good, tasty and enjoyed. But then. The toilets were disgracefully filthy. Really bad. This needs sorting out.

Thank you for ruining my Xmas eve lunch. I ordered the fried chicken pancakes, the fried chicken was burnt and dry, it looks like pre made an hour ago, was disaster and I want to spit out. The pancake was no flavour. Service was bad, nobody come to ask me how was the food , I was sitting there for 15 minutes trying to ask for the bill nobody comes up, server just hanging around doing nothing until I go to them asking for the bill and take off the service charge, they asked me why, technically, I don’t need to give them any reason. It was a disaster experience, no matter the server trying to complimentary my meal or giving me a coupon whatever, I’m not gonna visit this restaurant again.

Excellent . No stupid Christmas decorations, nor Christmas "musak". Just a lively buzzing sound of diners enjoying the place. Super food.

Brilliant experience. We had a not so good experience previously regarding the atmosphere rather then the food and we were invited back for another go and it didn't disappoint. Still amazing food and the atmosphere was great. Staff seemed happy and were helpful. Food absolutely amazing. Overall a brilliant experience and we would all definitely go back. Food was average. But it was the service that really let this place down. Seemed to be hundreds of staff working, but it was impossible to get any service. Asked three separate people for the bill before it came. Was never offered any sauces or condiments for my meal. No check back once we got the food - mine was overly salty but no one came back to ask. Wrong meals brought to us first. Wouldn't visit here again and resented paying the 12.5% service charge when there was no service.

A bit over done on the food but excellent service

One of the best experiences of restaurant service offered in London! Farrahi was the main person that worked at our table and I felt he went far and beyond! The food was tasty and light. A few options for plant based that we enjoyed! There is a nice welcoming ambience, slightly loud as it’s very popular!

Felt like they were trying too many different things and nothing panned out. Sounds like this place is more of a breakfast place so maybe I’ll give it another try, but unfortunately the food wasn’t my favourite when I went for lunch.

First time at Caravan and not sure what to expect. Food Mediterranean ish. Some really nice spicing and tasting delicious. We shared a spicy pizza and a Cauliflower and cumin fritter bowl with extra portion of broccoli. Nice bottle of wine all served by a young but efficient staff. Busy with a good vibe. My kinda place 😁

Awesome service ! Food more than standard, chicken breast cooked properly corn bread just amazing ! The dessert not words , tiramisu tastefully and good look , orange cake just wet mouth ! 100 % recommend,customer service is just amazing!

The food was really good, which I suppose is the most important thing and the staff were polite and friendly. The only letdowns were our drinks order took too long to arrive, finally getting to us midway through our meal, and the music was too loud, making conversation difficult.

Good Christmas menu for a group of us. Enjoyed the sharing starters especially the crispy tofu. Would recommend

Only found this place earlier this year, when a friend introduced me and we had dinner. Today was the lunch service, glad I booked, it was heaving. A great experience, amazing food beautifully crafted and balanced tastes and flavours. I had the cod dumplings and cauliflower small plates well priced for the quality on offer. Compliments to the chef and the whole team.

A great selection of dishes. Lots of vegetarian options. Friendly staff. It was just a little noisy, for actually being able to talk to each other.

We were up near Kings Cross for some early morning shopping and headed to the main square for some lunch. Lovely sunny day and it was fun to sit out and watch the goings on. The staff were helpful and the ordering is all via a qr code. Food was a sort of north african/med mash up and was washed down with some decent rose. All very good and would come back.

My friend and I enjoyed the food and the atmosphere but it could have been improved with better service. We were seated outside and perhaps that area was understaffed but it should never have taken that long to get a drink, order food, get the food, and get the bill. We had to flag a staff member down each time (except for getting the food). The servers did not seem happy at all to be there. I have eaten at other Caravan restaurants in the past and would likely not come back to this one (until I read that they’ve sorted their short-staffing issue). Please do better.

Great place for breakfast and diner likewise. super friendly staff. the food was exceptional. as well the room/ambiance is worth checking it out. I woud go there any time again when in kings cross area.

A very average experience. The actual waiting staff are lovely but let down by the horrifically slow bar service. Food came out ahead of drinks. Toilets could do with being improved. Overall a ‘fine’ experience but the bar speed need to be improved for a better rating for the price point

The food was ok but service while not that bad left a bad tasted in my mouth before my breakfast even arrived. I was sat at a table with another couple who were just finishing up as I arrived. I moved to where they had sat after they left then I order my juice and breakfast. When the juice arrived it was dumped on the table away from where I was sat without a word as the server walked off. My breakfast was served by a different person and that was actually served to me. I had gone to Kings Cross specifically for breakfast at Caravan so my experience today means I wont be returning.

Quick lunch before taking the train. Adorable service, very good pizza and halloumi bowl. The service is very fast despite the crowd. And the tiramisu is next level.

The food continues to be good but a thing that sets this Caravan apart is service. Always feel welcome and well attended to. Nick my waiter today is a reason alone to come back.

Out of their signature desert by 19.00! I thought that was disappointing. Expensive, lamb was good, curry a bit too sweet- deserts were decent.

Lovely evening. It was full, even on a Tuesday evening, so we sat outside in the heated area which meant we were served by the wonderful Victoria. So personable and kept us fully cared for throughout the night. Hope to see her again if we return. Recommend the tofu starter and picante to drink

It's a nice spot for dinner with friends or colleagues. We prefer getting a selection of the small plates to share, as they are all full of flavour and good variety. Not giving 5 stars as prices are a little steep. One of our friends was gluten free and they were very good at making sure her food had no cross contamination.

We ate brunch on a Sunday and the place was very busy. The staff are very friendly, efficient so we were seated promptly and orders taken quickly and the food arrived in good time. We all chose different dishes and our party of 4 really enjoyed the food and the relaxed atmosphere. Will definitely be back when next in London as its only a few minutes walk from King's Cross station.

Very pleasantly surprised. We just looked for a place to have a drink outside but then ended up having dinner as the food looked and smelled deciduous. And that was the case! Food is great, and the service was brillant. Our experience is that everyone was super helpful and pleasant. I would return and recommend! (The inside was packed and more noisy. )

We were a party of 6 adults and wanted a brunch @ 11 We dropped by there at 9:30 as we were attending the moonwalkers 10AM show at Lightroom . They would not reserve tables for parties of less than 8 . We did try to book on line the previous day but not for 6 .(why not?) We arrived at 11 and there was a 40 minute wait at the bar constantly in the way of waiters and very uncomfortable. We eventually got a table and the food was not cheap but very good . However the entire experience was frantic noisy and uncomfortable and I would not go again in a group .

The food, location and decor are the highlights of Caravan. The service is what lets this place down massively. You’ve got to hope to get their attention and then when they do come over there’s little interaction. Food and drinks came with not even a smile and minimal connection to the customer. No customer checks to see if everything was okay. Plates were collected with no interaction or checks to make sure was okay. No questions if we wanted coffee or anything else. Thankfully you can pay without having to have contact with them by using the Sunday app. Such a shame as it could be great and it probably was at some point. Won’t be visiting again

It was my first time dining at Kings Cross. Safe to say it won't be the last! Lovely food and service! Cristina and Farai were so kind and accommodating!

Went for Brunch here on Sunday and it was utterly fantastic. Food and coffee was excellent, and the service from Farai and Cristina was superb. Highly recommend you stop by!

The vegan dishes were exceptional, better than many specialist vegan restaurants. A few more on offer of this quality would be amazing !

The fry don't stop to the appearance it was the best English breakfast ever. Love the home made beans 😍

Really nice Area of London to grab food that doesn’t feel like you’re right next to international train stations, the outside area is lovely and staff aren’t hovering over you to get going either so you can enjoy a relaxed brunch and then get going once you’re ready. I highly recommend the pancakes, they were incredible.

The food is overpriced and not worth for the taste.
