The place is a lovely cafe and the staff are very friendly, wonderful people . I love going there.

Excellent decaf cappuccino and delicious vegan citrus cake.

Lovely Coffee Shop in the middle of a Village. Staff are super friendly and welcoming. Pet friendly too. There are tables outside to soak up the sun's rays. Offer a range of hot and cold drinks, like milkshakes, decaffeinated Tea's/Coffee's. Homemade cakes, pastries and hot foods.

A lovely simple cafe serving quick bites at a great price. One of the nicest bacon and egg sandwiches around. Really good quality bacon which isn't horribly salty and perfectly fresh eggs. Dog friendly. Google listing hours are wrong they are open 7.30am to 3pm weekdays

Best coffee shop in East Sussex. They know my order every time I walk in, very polite, good convosation and an absolutely awesome flat white.

Tasty food, friendly staff. Lots of regulars give it a feeling of community. And dogs are allowed if they behave so there are l9ts of stroking opportunities!

Lovely little cafe for lunch and dog friendly which is a bonus.

What a brilliant, local cafe. Their toasties and paninis are beautiful - all freshly made and reasonably priced. Their selection of cakes is so tempting as well!

Myself, my wife and her friends and all the kids are regulars here. A lovely spot in the village that always makes you feel very welcome. The food (especially the cakes) is excellent, it’s clean and kids can enjoy themselves there too. They even have a special table for strangers to chat which is a lovely touch and great for the well-being of local residents. A must go in the village.

Lovely coffee, cakes look delicious but I was being good! Very friendly staff, great to watch the interaction with regulars. Met up with a friend for a catch up so stayed far too long chatting, but never felt any pressure to vacate the table. Highly recommended!

first visit today usually use the other cafe but it was closed glad it was as will certainly be returning my mocha was very nice the cakes looks very nice and fresh will be returning next week to try one. friendly staff also.

Lovely place with friendly staff. Eggs Royale is delicious! Good coffee and gluten free cakes available too. G/f carrot cake is tasty! Enjoyed a refreshing iced peach tea. Few tables outside too. A good local place with relaxing atmosphere. We will be back!

Great welcome, great milk alternatives, lots of choice of cake / savouries and its dog friendly. I like I can have iced coffee or hot coffee depending on the weather.Generous amount of cream for the cream tea. My favourite cream tea in the area and she makes wicked scones!A little area outside if you want fresh air, but sufficient tables inside too.

Popped in today for brunch as in the area. Really good mocha and nice panini. Great atmosphere and very friendly staff. Good value. Will be back soon!

Lovely welcome, great choice of drinks and food, all reasonably priced. Tables inside and out, and dogs are welcome at both. The homemade scones are truly amazing.

We stopped here for breakfast and it was lovely, the sausage sandwich was tasty and the poached eggs on toast really nice. Coffee was good too. It was served by friendly and helpful staff, all the customers looks happy, toilets were also excellent. Would recommend this cafe for good value food in a friendly environment. We will return! Their cakes looked delicious - will try one on our next visit.

Travelled from Kent for a funeral and needed somewhere to meet up before hand. Found Carlys Coffee online and decided to head for there. It was the perfect choice. The lattes were delicious as were the hot sausage rolls and scones. Best of all were the friendly staff who cared enough to notice we were all in black so enquired and wished us their condolences. Made for a nicer atmosphere on what was a very sad day. Thanks Carlys!

I often call in for coffee when I'm out on one of my keep-fit walks. The two friendly women who run it are very friendly and clearly have a loyal following customer base. Spotlessly clean. Popular with mothers and toddlers.

Best cafe in the village in my opinion. Superb coffee and Carly makes it just as you would like it. Great gluten free carrot cake. Good choice of food. Seating outside too where you can watch the world go by! Carly is friendly and chatty. Saw an amazing hot chocolate go passed us - might have to try that another time!

Carly’s cafe opened up approx 12 months ago and I’ve been there a few times. It had become my favourite cafe in the village for several reasons. Carly and other staff are very friendly and their service is very keen to please. The food is fabulous, the cakes are homemade and are to die for ( and that’s coming from a fellow cake maker!) and their placing in the village is great and prices are competitive!
