Visited The Works Café for the first time today. I've got to say best Cafe I've eaten at in a long time. The full English was excellent, it shows they use quality ingredients. Really well cooked. The staff are lovely and very helpful and there's a great atmosphere in what is a very busy cafe. (For good reason) Definitely recommend A++++++++

Stopped on the way home and picked up a breakfast wrap and vegan breakfast wrap both of which were awesome. Really friendly service too. We will be visiting again!

We use to come in nearly every week during the morning few months ago. The food was always great. But sadly this week we were really disappointed as we didn't felt welcomed coming in by the waitresses. we felt they kept watching us and giggling and talking about us. We didn't think it wasn't very professional at all. Plus the amount of money we spent on this breakfast and we didn't feel comfortable sitting around while eating it. The vibes from the waitresses. Sadly we used to love this place and it has completely changed. We won't be coming back again.

Not like it used to be. We used to come in nearly every week for breakfast and we really enjoyed the breakfast. So we all decided to come in this week as it was half term with the kids as a whole family. But this week we were really disappointed & didn't felt welcomed by the waitresses when we came in. We overheard and they were giggling and talking about us. We didn't think it was very professional at all. We used to love this breakfast and this week we couldn't enjoy this breakfast as we felt we are being watched by those waitresses by the till by the door and there vibes. Plus the amount of money we spent on it was a total waste sitting in this room with this uncomfortable vibes. Sadly we won't be coming back again.

Food excellent and so much choice

Well prepared English breakfast.There is a huge choice of food on offer that should cater for all tastes and appetites.

I must admit, when I was recommended The Works Cafe, I was a bit apprehensive only because you approach it through an industrial estate. But when I reached it, I was pleasantly surprised!!. Large carpark and good disabled access via a ramp. Walk inside to be greeted by very pleasant and friendly staff, shown to a table, you can pre book if you so wish. The menu has a great selection with some very interesting choices!!. Service is quick and the food is delicious, compliments to all involved. Friendly atmosphere with music in the background. You do need to arrive early though to guarantee a table, it is very popular and I can see why!!. A lovely Cafe and lovely staff, I will be back for some more!!.

I dont know if you have changed the chef but deep frying the whole breakfast is not right. Always had a lovely breakfast there but even the bacon was deep fried and horrible. The worst breakfast ive ever had for £££

Booked a table for dinner for two and i gotta say it was great good food good atmosphere and lovely staff with smiling faces as well as being spotlessly clean try it its a breath of fresh air

This cafe was recommended to me by a friend and I am now a frequent visitor. I didn’t know it existed as it hidden away but I’ve now told all my friends about it. The service is always very friendly; staff are polite & helpful. The menu is amazing, so much choice for breakfast and lunch. With great vegetarian and vegan options too.

Today was my 10th or 12th visit to this amazing place. I can't find fault in anything this establishment does it operates a truly scrumptious menu at amazing prices the quality of the food is outstanding. We are so lucky to have this place on our doorsteps If you were to drop this building in a posh part of any town you'd find you were paying twice the amount these guys charge for their divine menu. I eat today with 2 people who were both celebrating their birthdays and the response from both was food was 10/10 Well done to the staff and owner for all your hard work in running this 5 Star 🌟 eatery

Wow.....what a place to have food!! It's positioned near an industrial estate, but don't be put off. Large carpark and a really excellent breakfast, including GF options. We are going back for Sunday lunch.

Me and my husband tock my dad fir he hair cut then breakfast was mentioned so we diced to try the works and what can I say Very clean staff were very helpful as on my way in I fell and cut all my leg and and was a little unsteady on my feet as still recovering from a broken ankle injury. lots of choice they do BF.LU.DI.PU will pop in agen soon x thanks for your help Sarah

The best place by far in Bexhill for breakfast, lunch & dinner. Beautiful food, always presented lovely and the staff are always so welcoming with great fast service. The chefs are topnotch 🤌 Everything you try is just so tasty with great size portions.

Great find ..... Had an excellent breakfast here. Great to see a good selection of meat based, vegetarian and vegan options. Staff were helpful and friendly and the atmosphere was nice. Everywhere was extremely clean. Added bonus of easy parking. We will definitely be back and we've already recommended The Works to friends.

I spent a while in Bexhill over August & Sept. I had no storage or cooking facilities where I was staying. I had seen this cafe from the road but because it’s on an industrial area I thought it was just a greasy cafe kind of place. I could not have been more wrong. I was looking up vegan food in the area & this place came up. I visited 4 times. I had the Vegan chilli, both version of vegan wellington & healthy breakfast. Portions were generous. All food was very tasty. The place is nicely laid out & was busy on all of my visits. Price was good as well.

A fantastic cafe just round the corner from the shops at ravenside. Plenty of parking, inside and outside seating and lots of friendly staff. A decent selection of pre set menus and a build your own breakfast option. Good quality ingredients, prompt service and good prices.

Absolutely gorgeous food! my kids want to travel from Doncaster just to come back here! can't give more than 5 stars but we definitely would!

I don’t come here often, but it really is one of the best places to come for breakfast or lunch. It’s a non greasy, greasy spoon!!! Great menu for breakfast or just make your own. Lunch is also fab, especially their numerous homemade options such as puss, cottage pies etc! Easy parking makes this an easy stop off. Should also say the staffing is exceptional. Two young staff always greet you when you come in and the service is impeccable from then on. It’s better than most classy restaurants. Well done you two!!! Been in here would say this morning… but turned out to be 1/2 the day ! Staff absolutely amazing and just added to a perfect day ! Got to mention a lady called Chloe worked hard and made sure everyone was happy ! And her recommendation for pudding was perfect apple pie and custard to die for !! Friendly, fast service in this local cafe tucked away in an industrial estate. Huge portion of burger (almost unnecessarily big for my taste !), but good quality and great chips.

The building might look a bit ordinary on the outside, but inside it is clean and fresh looking. For each visit we were greeted with a smile. Service was quick, the food was hot and nutritious. Prices were reasonable. Once we had discovered the place we returned the following day for breakfast

Don’t be put off by the location. This place is a gem! We had short wait … because it was rammed … but gosh was it worth it! Great, plentiful plates of food, epic milkshakes and lovely staff. Brilliant!

We had the lovely Donna look after us with two young children. Quick friendly service and the food was fantastic. Highly recommend and the kids loved their milkshakes!!

This is a lovely cafe. Fabulous breakfasts and lunches, efficient, polite service, and so reasonably priced we returned to check they hadn't undercharged us. Also, spotlessly clean, and car parking too!

This was my first time here. My friend has come here many times. We had two small breakfasts. I was impressed by the fact that the breakfast did not feel greasy and the sausage was of a really good quality. The cafe itself is really pleasant and not noisy. I am looking forward to coming back with my husband and 17 year old son and sample other dishes. The decaf coffee was excellent too. I nearly forgot to mention the service which was also excellent.

Breakfast in the sunshine, we sat outside with our dog and enjoyed a lovely breakfast as always, served hot in good time and always by lovely staff, always on point, you can’t go wrong.

We enjoyed an all Inclusive breakfast for £9.95 with friends this morning. The breakfast was excellent. Lots to eat and all cooked to perfection. Staff were polite and friendly and our meal was bought to our table nice and hot and quickly. All in all a very pleasant experience and we would definitely recommend 😊

Found this place today. Lovely food, great choice and very good value for money. Don’t be put off by the area (driving through industrial estate) it really is worth it. Plenty of parking and nice and spacious. Well worth a visit

Went for the first time on Wednesday 1st may friendly service felt very welcome very clean tables food was hot and five stars best breakfast in hastings and bexhill amazing full menu cant wait to go back and have there roast dinner and apple crumble and even though they were extremely busy they moved tables together to fit us in wheel chair and pram access excellent I took my autistic son and he had a great time

The food is absolutely amazing, it's fresh and tasty, always served quickly, staff is incredible, they're very sweet, we're always having a nice chat and a laugh. Large breakfast was actually what you're expecting it to be: LARGE. Small could be easily mistaken for large breakfast. Incredible place, absolutely recommend!

Cannot fault the food great size portions too, all allergies catered for including gluten free. The staff are attentive and friendly, always welcoming especially Donna who has become the highlight of our visit for our little girl. My son is autistic and likes his food very particular, this is always catered for with no question. The Worx has become a firm favourite for us and I recommend it to everyone.

I was totally shocked and taking back by the lack of respect some of your staff have. I was sat opposite a family one of the children/young adult had very clear disabilities to what your staff thought it would be funny to make fun of her. A waitresses with short dark ponytail and the other with blonde hair continued to make nasty remarks about this individual loud enough so that I could hear. A short time after a gentleman came in to the restaurant and again these two females would insult him. I am utterly appalled by these two females.

We visited here today and had a great roast and very generous portions, everything was perfectly cooked and the service was excellent , we highly recommend this cafe / restaurant as the food was above and beyond what you expect from a café.

Been here a few times now, absolutely awesome food as usual, great staff, love the fact you can swap out any breakfast item for anything you want, will definitely be coming here again soon.

What these people do with a few simple ingredients is amazing. My favourite is avocado on sourdough toast 🥑 , Gorgeous coffee too. Plenty of vegan and veggie choices, all lovingly cooked and freshly cooked to order.

Excellent breakfast. Busy Mothering Sunday but the attentive staff were friendly and helpful. The food was hot and plentiful. Had a small full English breakfast - cooked to how I requested. Will be returning and highly recommend to anyone looking for a good quality breakfast.

We were looking for a cafe for late breakfast and found this one after shopping at Ravenside. Hubby thought it might be too much of a ‘builders cafe’ but when we entered we were pleasantly surprised! Staff were attentive and friendly. The service was excellent and the food was delicious. Lots of choice on the menu for all tastes. It really was lovely cafe, they certainly deserve all the stars they’ve received and we will definitely be going back again!
