Casa Luli in Kirklees

Had our Christmas dinner here every aspect was perfect, staff happy and attentive, atmosphere perfect so we could talk with background music and the food was fabulous .

Had Christmas day dinner could not fault it but just one small complaint the meal was short of roast potatoes Other than that it was spot on

Eight of us went for a birthday meal and a few drinks. We had good service and lovely food.

We visited Casa Luli for their early bird week menu, offering two courses for around £19. From start to finish, it was a delightful experience. We were welcomed with bread and olives on the table, setting a lovely tone for the meal. I opted for the garlic mushrooms to start, followed by a calzone, both of which were delicious and satisfying. To round things off, we were treated to lemoncello mints—a sweet little touch that added to the experience. We brought our 1-year-old along, and the staff couldn’t have been more accommodating. They were so understanding, even with him refusing to take off his little hard hat, which he insisted on wearing throughout. The team also handled the “paying our part of the bill” situation at the end with patience and professionalism. All in all, it was a great experience—good food, friendly service, and a family-friendly atmosphere. We’ll definitely be back!

Good food, great portions Reasonable drinks and food prices Slightly sloe service but weekends ar usually busy so expect slight delays and not many bartenders for big groups, perhaps pre order drinks aswell as you cam pre order meals for big groups.

Authentic Italian food, I honestly can not fault this restaurant in any way, the food was outstanding, there was a lovely atmosphere and the staff were very efficient and friendly, when we received our bill we were pleasantly surprised at how cheap it was to other Italian restaurants, can’t wait to go again.

Very friendly staff and prompt service. The food was first class and well presented. We had a conversation with the owner on our way out, she was a very pleasant lady and she thanked us for our custom. We used to go to Garda at Grange Moor but it's not the same since it changed hands.

There was a slight wait for our table but that was to be expected considering we didn’t book in advance. The service we were given however made us forget completely that we had to wait. What an amazing little restaurant this place is. We ordered a bottle of wine, and about ten minutes later our food order was taken. Not even ten minutes later our starters were out and as soon as they took our empty plates again, our mains were out in no time. The staff here are so friendly and cannot do enough for you. I used to visit another reputable Italian restaurant in the centre of cleckheaton until it changed hands and became a not so nice place to eat. Since then we have struggled to find an Italian restaurant that we both love. I think we have found our new favourite Italian because the food here at Casa Luli was absolutely beautiful!

Had a lovely meal here on Sunday. There was 4 of us and everyone thought the food was tasty and well presented. The two waitresses were attentive and helpful too. We'll definitely be back

This little gem is our favourite place to visit locally for so many reasons. It’s a true, family run restaurant and the staff are all so lovely and welcoming. Nothing is ever too much trouble and they are great with the kids too. There is always a nice range of specials on offer as well so there’s always something different to try. It’s advisable to book if you go on a weekend as it can get busy but it never loses that intimate feel. Food is reasonably priced and my daughter loves the complimentary lollipop she gets when we pay the bill! Great place to eat out (they also do takeaway) for a family meal, special occasion as well as romantic meal for two. Well worth a visit!

Very nice restaurant out in Liversedge, west Yorkshire. Came here with my partner, and we both enjoyed a romantic Italian dinner, with service being quick even on a superbly busy evening. The food was very well priced, and tasted great all round, we did of course leave with empty plates. Would recommend, and will return.

NEW YEARS EVE. Fantastic food from staff who looked like they wanted to be there. Packed but nothing was rushed. BRILLIANT ENTERTAINMENT TOO. Travelled from Eccleshill for for this. Was it worth it. HELL YEAH!!!

2nd visit and it didn't dissapoint , great food , lovely staff.

The first time here has been recommended by a few people. We tried the lasagna and the salmon carbonara. Following with a tiramisu and a creme brulee. Both mains were great. The lazania was rich tomato and beef packed layed paste.yummy. The salmon carbonara had good chuncky of salmon in a rich cream and pasta sauce. The dessert was great, a crispy top on the cream filled brulee. The only thing the wife was not so sure about was the nutty taste on the tiramisu, but she did not leave any.

Beautiful fresh Italian family cooked restaurant. Had a paella which was fresh and tasty. Highly recommend.

Great food the pasta was amazing and the amaretto coffee ice cream was perfect. Waiters were polite and food was served quick. Was a little busy when we went but the atmosphere was still great.

Beautiful, best Italian food in the area

Sadly not as nice as our last visit. Food was ok although it did not agree with two of our party who had eaten the same meal. Service was pleasant but very slow to sort the bill out. Asked for it twice over a period of half an hour, eventually my wife went to the counter and waited for them to sort it.

Awful service. Truly awful. My daughter has hearing problems and asked the waitress to repeat something and was told not to disrespect her and that my daughter should get closer. The look off shock on my daughter's face would have been expected, at which point some the waitress said she was unprepared to speak to my daughter. Whoever she is, she's as embarrassment to your business.

Fantastic family run restaurant. Went on Monday night so it was quiet, but the food and service were both fantastic. Would love to go back on a tribute night!

Myself and 2 friends visited for the first time Casa Luli. On entering and going to the bar I told the older lady we were booked but she couldnt find our booking we were left standing like lemons wondering what was going on . No one spoke to us letting us know what was going on. I am giving 5 stars for the food . It was excellent !!!!. I am giving NO stars or good review for the service. Table booked for 7pm it was one hour and 10 minutes before we got our starter . Then 35 minutes for the main course . One of which was wrong and the starter of Mussels was served with 7 closed mussels (not good). We had to constantly ask where our food was . We were told that a chef hadn't come to work that night and they were under pressure which was very obvious . People were being served before us that came in after us . We were sat at an open door with a fan on . This night was not the best dining experience. It was the first time since before the pandemic that we had been out together it was a birthday treat for one of our party. The waitresses did their best in a bad situation . There was no hospitality etiquette at all . More training would be advised to teach staff how to respond to angry diners in this type of situation . 2 of this party have spent over a combined 40 years in the hospitality trade and catering. We knew what it was like to be under pressure . We asked to see the 'manager' ( the older lady at reception)she was quite rude no sincere apology was more interested in what we thought of the food. Which was excellent !!!!. But I would not recommend this place on a Saturday night when staff don't turn up for work.

Great Italian place and also amazing for takeaways! During covid especially we had many takeaways from Casa Luli and they were all amazing! The fried mozzarella starter is gorgeous as well as the calzone pollo, tagliatelle pollo and the chicken in cream and mushroom sauce being favourites! Would definitely recommend to have as an evening meal out or a takeaway (if they are available to do so). Never disappointed with the food and is a lovely ambiance in the restaurant with the staff being very good as well.

Amazing time at the Casa Luli I was visiting from Canada and a few of us went to dinner. My Aunt and Uncle are regulars at this spot and I can see why. It had a warm atmosphere, wonderful staff and amazing food. Great value with generous portions. ( even the bathroom was beautiful ) I would definitely recommend it.
