Casa Nostra in Sutton

No he estado en Casa Nostra por un tiempo, pero feliz de decir que la comida era tan maravillosa como de costumbre y que mi entrante favorito todavía estaba en el menú. Llevé a una amiga a celebrar su próximo cumpleaños y fue su primera visita. Me alegro de decir que estaba encantada y sin duda irá de nuevo. El personal es siempre tan amable y servicial y hacer toda la experiencia completamente agradable.

Waarom moet je van alle Italiaanse restaurants in deze ongein kiezen voor Casa Nostra? Ten eerste omdat het eten heel goed is. Maar net zo belangrijk: de sfeer is geweldig. De bediening is zo vriendelijk en grappig. Ik zou dit restaurant echt aan iedereen aanbevelen. Ga hier naartoe!

Genial para comer alimentos frescos cocinados de un menú variado en lugar de precocinados o 'hervir en una bolsa' de Brakes Brothers, Buena relación calidad-precio, buen servicio, inusual hoy en día y muy recomendable!

El personal más amable y divertido, la comida era encantadora, con un montón para elegir y llegó en buen momento. Mi pequeño estaba mimado y fue cuidado tan bien. Bonito regalo de cumpleaños al final para mi madre. Lo recomendaría a cualquiera!

Vamos Sutton lo que un gran lugar para comer no se puede pensar en ningún lugar cerca de aquí que se acerca. Gran diversión, buena comida y un gran servicio no puede esperar para volver aquí tanta buena opción también, pero siempre se adhieren a nuestros favoritos, entonces tal vez pensar que deberíamos probar otra cosa como tantas cosas buenas en el menú.

We have never been to this restaurant before and were amazed that it was packed on Monday night @ 6pm! Soon found out why, lovely friendly staff, fabulous food and excellent value. The staff were exceptionally lovely with my elderly mother.

Impromptu visit to this place seeing it packed out on passing by. A table for 2 was available. Passionate waiters (with a sense of humour) and a significant specials board. I selected monk fish cooked in brandy sauce on a bed of spinach which was served with vegetables and sautéed potatoes or fries or salad - exquisite. Very busy place and all food looked very good. Give this place a try, I’m guessing it is very popular.

Visited Sat 27th July from the specials monkfish in brandy sauce and side of vegetables, superb. Whats more acknowledged what i ate [skate wing) four weeks before and where we sat,now that is attentative service. Top drawer

I rarely leave reviews but food, athomsphere, service, waiters were all great. We had such a great time and lough a lot. Waiters were constantly jocking and entertaing. Food was absolutely deliciouse.

We had a fantastic family and friends birthday dinner 3rd July. The food was lovely and atmosphere perfect to celebrate. Felt as though we were in Sardinia. Staff all lovely 👌🏻

Lovely restaurant, food and service. The glass of wine was ok but gave me a terrible headache the next day. Would be been nice to see some organic wines on the menu.

The food was excellent, with the right quantity and priced honestly. The “espetada” was delicious which made me miss my fellow Brazilian rodízios. The wine suggested by the crew was amazing. The service provided by Silvio and his teammates was superb, really exceeded my expectations for an unpretentious dinner. Strongly recommend this Italian and Portuguese corner in Sutton.

Our second evening at this very good restaurant, friendly (and funny) staff and lovely food. It is usually important to book a table as they are normaly very busy, especially at the weekends. Lots of specials on the menu, a wide choice. We would definitely return to this restaurant.

We came here in mid-September to celebrate my daughter starting at a new school having recently moved to Sutton. After hearing from the locals that this is a very popular restaurant, we made a prior booking even though it was a Monday, and just as well - it was quite busy even at the start of the week! Staff were very attentive, especially Jose who even did some tricks to entertain my 7yo. The owner, Sylvio, as well as their colleague Francesco were also friendly and personable ensuring we had a great time. Food was very tasty and portions were generous, with a fantastic choice on the menu for every taste. My daughter is already asking to go back (and we surely will).

Visiting Sutton for Hospital appointments and staying at local hotel we looked for somewhere nice to eat. We certainly found it in Casa Nostra. Warm welcome genuinely lovely staff and incredible food. The fact that you have to book even at beginning of the week shows how popular this restaurant is. Thank you for making us feel so welcome and feeding us so well.

I ate here for their first time with my friends recently and it was a good experience. The staff were friendly, and the food was tasty. I had the garlic bread with mozzarella, followed by the spaghetti ragu Bolognese sauce, all of which was well cooked and tasty. I will eat here again and the next time I would like to try the Pollo alla diavola, (chicken breast cooked in red wine, mixed with peppers, onions and fresh chillies sauce).

5⭐️food and service. Visited Casa Nostra for the first time on Sunday. We were celebrating my cousins birthday. Great food, hot, fresh and tasty. Very clean and nicely decorated. Attentive staff. Food was enjoyed and we left full up. My cousin also received a complimentary profiterole and was sung happy birthday too. Great experience. We be making this my new local.

There is not much to comment. Way over priced. No atmosphere and no ambiant background music. Waiters tapping you on the shoulder when ordering. I coult live with the seriously over priced starter. But the main was not worth 15£. A steak prepared in the deep frier. Not on the grill and dripping with oil.. I understand that many people have no quisine taste but for 120 £. I can have much better. For sure not a recommendation for people who nows better than burger King or mc donalds. For me. Never again.

This place is fantastic, the food was great, 15 of us ate and everyone enjoyed there meals but for me the thing that sets this above the rest is the amazing staff!! The pizza I ordered looked and tasted like a very cheap supermarket pizza. Bland toppings, biscuity dough - I felt like I had been taken for a ride.

Very busy, lively, loud and popular. We had a very good and reasonably priced meal here. The staff are very friendly and most appear to be ex stand up comedians! They do try and make your experience fun and enjoyable. The atmosphere is lively, loud music (decent music) and several " Happy birthday" interruptions...this seems to be common at Italian restaurants. The food was very good and the menu is extensive with a big choice for all tastes. Would I return? Yes, but I don't think I would go for a quiet romantic evening, go for a fun celebrator time.

Excellent dinner on a Friday night. Do book as they were busy. Great selection on menu and special board. All meals were good. Service was amazing, they were so good with our 3 year old daughter. Everything a reasonable price and good value. Highly recommend!

Just had a superb take away delivered by the man himself.Avacido prawn , Calamari and Skate wings .As near as possible to eating in the restaurant couldn’t fault it .We weren’t sure how a take away would travel but needn’t have worried !Important to support our local restaurants, hopefully they will be able to open soon !

We have been sampling all the restaurants around Cheam, Ewell and Sutton during both lockdowns. Without any doubt Casa Nostra is far superior to everywhere we have tried, whatever the cuisine. It has not been somewhere we have visited much outside of lockdown but it is now our weekly Saturday takeaway due to the quality, portion size and value for money of what they are offering. The menu is varied so there is fine thing for everyone, the food is fresh and really well cooked. If you try it, you will definitely go back for more!

After a particularly grotty working week ordered a takeaway from Casa Nostra. What a delight! We'd eaten here once before lockdown, and this was as nice. Good portions, and it travelled well which is always a concern with pasta and sauces. Thoroughly recommend it, and will be back soon.

What can I say a great Friday night last week .great food lovely staff .The best restaurant in Sutton

This is the place to come of you want excellent food and service. The menu is extensive but then the waiter came over and read out from the best 'Special board' I've ever seen. We chose the Scallops starters from there and then the Duck in Orange sause and the Monk fish & prawns all of which were terrific. Unfortunately, we were too full to try a desert. The waiters were very attentive and quite entertaining. It is a small restaurant but social distancing was observed. It is just across the road from Sutton Railway station so it is easy to get to. Well worth a visit.

Good food and service. Excellent size portions staff attentive but never overbearing. Down side, can be a bit noisy especially with birthday groups. However all points considered excellent value for money and always great to have dinner there. Veal is excellent

Our meal at Casa nostra was the first time we'd eaten out since the easing of lockdown so we were, naturally, a little worried about our safety. However, we needn't have worried. The staff was wearing masks and they had reduced the number of tables, thereby giving space between the customers. The service and food were, as always excellent. We enjoyed an evening meal and returned for lunch another day. I'd also like to add that their takeaway service was/is also excellent.

We've never been to this restaurant before despite living in Sutton for a number of years. There's a great range of dishes to choose from, and we appreciated being proactively offered a smaller portion for a child. The staff made us feel incredibly welcome (which is probably why there were LOTS of regulars there). Tables were well spaced out, plenty of hand sanitizer available, and staff were all wearing masks. Looking forward to returning.

Despite the spacing out of the tables and limiting group sizes they have managed to maintain the party atmosphere - although no dancing. The food is still very good and the portions do not leave you hungry. The waiters like to entertain. Its great if you like it lively - possible not for you if you want it quiet. Casa Nostra has a loyal following of customers who come back time after time, so that speaks for itself.There are vegetarian options - but they are not marked as such - you just need to know.

Went to dinner here with my partner and had a wonderful evening. The food was delicious the service was amazing and the atmosphere lovely. The staff were so friendly and didn’t rush the whole evening. First trip to a restaurant since the pandemic and they made the experience effortless

10/10 fabulous service, lovely waiters , Very good Covid polices cleanliness spot on. All Staff using antibacterial constantly. If ur worried about going to somewhere in the current climate this is the best place to go. 😊
