Chez Antoinette in City of London, Westminster

Small, cute shop with French flair and music, service was okay, but the food was way too expensive for the portion and presentation. It was carelessly prepared, too little and didn't taste particularly good. But it doesn't always seem to be the case, as some pictures of guests look much better.

Awesome ! very good meal, pleasant setting, top service and above all excellent value for money. I recommend for those who love good food and good crocs monsieur.

Went for a solo lunch , loved the hospitality and the food . Ordered a desert in the end and the crème brûlée was one of the best I have ever had . Would end up going there again !

Lovely little corner with such a beautiful vibe! Food was delicious and very affordable I’m sorry service was very slow but I can understand Covent Garden is crazy busy . Will definitely try the other one in Victoria as well. Noisy. Obliging young male server gave the best attention he could despite being clearly berated in French (?) by an older female who was visibly stressed. We think this was possibly due to him seating us at the first available table which was a small four seater instead of making us wait for an available table for two. This tirade made us feel very uncomfortable. As a result we just had a drink and left, choosing to eat elsewhere. No toilet facilities in the café; we were advised to use the public lavatories which had an extremely long queue and weren't free. We found alternative facilities.

In a magical place, simple but very good cuisine. Friendly service.

Ate there with a friend. When I was serving it, I saw the server pulling a hair out of my food, she thought I didn't see it. When she left I put one of that friend's hairs in the food and told her there was a hair in it.

Had some amazing eggs royal. Salmon was great and the eggs Benedict were some of the best I've ever had. The thing that's stood out to me the most was the wonderful service. Amine was absolutely amazing and elevated the experience to a higher level. Highly recommend!!!

VIsited the restaurant about a week ago with family on a trip to london, The food was absolutely delicious and the location is perfect. Deducted one star for the nosyness of Covent Garden but can’t be helped!The service was absolutely great, my son can be uncooperative but the waitress was extremely understanding, friendly and catered to our every need. I asked for her name at the end but unfortunately it was very french and i couldn’t understand it to repeat here (sorry!), anyway she was an absolute delight and we will be recommending this place to our London family. Merci!

Absolutely pathetic. Service was non existent. The croque Monsiur is a typical ham and cheese toasty you would find in Greg's. But 12 pounds for the pleasure and 20 minutes to wait. Chefs looked baked of their faces and the team just couldn't give a shit generally. Avoid. Go to one of the many other places and beware the fake French BS within

After waiting 20 minutes to order they provided the saddest croque monsieur I've even seen. Not to mention the staff were incredibly ruse. Do yourself a favour and don't go here, it looks cute but not worth it 51 pounds later

For sure the best place to have lunch in Covent Garden. As a French person I can tell you that food is amazing there.

Chez Antoinette is an exciting venue for lunch or dinner, located within the lower floor of the Covent Garden. Located in central London, outside are street performers and skilled singers to entertain you. My smoked salmon with avocado and greens was fabulous. My companion had a grilled slice of bread coated with pesto, tomato and cheese, broiled and drizzled with EVOO. We savored the wine and truly enjoyed the ambiance, enhanced by a nearby singer. It’s a great place.

Looking for a warm place to have a tea we found this place. Super welcoming, the staff very kind, in particular thanks to David, who is friendly and helpful. We tried the lemon tarte (delicious) and the super good apple dessert. Good value for money.

I was in London for two days and ate my lunch here on both days! The food is absolutely gorgeous I will be craving it until my next visit. A lovely glass of mulled wine just added to the wonderful experience. The staff are lovely and the service was great. I will be back!

Cozy place to eat and drink with very friendly staff

The croque monsieur was lacking - there was one slice of ham, likely one slice of cheese (limited cheese…) between sourdough bread - honestly it was like eating bread. The flavor was nice but there was no substance. No one checked in to see if everything was ok either, a basic in table service. Disappointing.

France is coming to London! We had a glass of Amaretto mulled wine and hot chocolate! Very fast service, the drinks are good and the French wine list is impressive! I recommend it to have a good time with friends!

A delicious apple crumble. We had two Campari spritz. A little too watery, but the atmosphere is magnificent.

We only ate mulled wine and homemade cookies. What we ate was delicious. The environment was very crowded but pleasant.

The most unfriendly welcome I’ve ever experienced. We are a party of two and were looking for somewhere inside due to the cold outside and found the last table available. Unfortunately it was a table for 4 but the table next to us was a couple also sat on a table of four. However the woman on front of house decided to have a problem with only us, she was very rude and unfriendly. The woman told us it was a table for 4 and that we would have to move. We felt so uncomfortable we decided to pick up our bags and leave altogether. All we got was a “sorry about that”. Pure discrimination. She needs to learn some customer service and people skills. Don’t both going - you probably won’t be welcomed.

I ordered the duck rillette tartine and do not recommend it - it was very oily and salty. The bread itself was a bit oily so that didn't help. My friend's duck confit tartine was better.

My favourite place in Covent Garden!! The coconut croissants are divine—perfectly baked and full of flavor. The staff are warm and welcoming, adding to the lovely French ambiance. Highly recommend!

Very nice place, I went to London to visit a friend and we had breakfast here. The atmosphere is warm and welcoming, everything is super clean and super nice, it gives you the idea of ​​a very elegant everyday where you can enjoy good food. We didn't eat there. I was disappointed to get there to be informed that there will be no food served for the next 30 mins as they are changing the menu, there should be a note anywhere on your website about this, but there isn't one. Very disappointed.

The restaurant responsibilities focus entirely in the quality of the food an living up to customer satisfaction, I see this as a centric of any food buisness after that we must branch out a view upon such a cute French atmosphere due to the inside interior. vibrant, calm an a lovely place for family's an couple's, A haven resort for elderlys to flourish through discussions. The soul of britians most toured area covent garden which I highly admire. Do not be disappointed when accompanied by a member of staff due to a busy month it's exceptionally busy, an I thank each member of staff for the progression an excellence they've provided for the customers and eachother.

Really poor quality of service. A French lady came when we arrived in the place and she has been rude for all the time we've been there. To start with, she wasn't happy about having a table inside rather than outside. When we asked for the bill and decided to split, she seemed very upset to the point that one of us had to pay in full! Awful experience.

During a stay in London we were seduced by this little restaurant with its sandwiches. The quantity is not huge and the price excessive. As for the service in addition to 10% on the bill, it's really excessive Once but not twice. I would say it's a tourist trap.

A very pleasant experience especially because of Jairo's service. Jairo was always very friendly, smiling and helpful. We had the menu of the day: soup or salad + toast of the day + drink, it was simple but very delicious, light and healthy. I recommend it and without a doubt I would return.

The jambom cru is so real french - superb. The goats cheese (very generous) with acacia honey is delicious. All that for a more than reasonable price. Chez Antoinette chooses its suppliers very well. I left my hat in the morning so we went back to pick it up. An excellent excuse for a second meal in the afternoon. Highly recommended!

We stumbled upon Chez Antoinette after a disappointing experience at another Covent garden spot and we’re so glad we did. The food was absolutely delicious, the service impeccable, and the house wine was fantastic. Overall a delightful experience and one I highly recommend.

In the nest of Covent Garden, this French bistro offers a nested lovely seating with great atmosphere! They have some drink specials on wine and beer. Menu seems vast and with something for everyone. The Smoked Salmon and Foie Grass, were both nicely presented, but both could of taste better, nice but not memorable. Still, lovely spot to have a drink or dessert.

The food was delicious, but small in quantity and somewhat high in price. We ordered two tartines (a scanty slice of bread) and a salad, they charged us £50 and we were quite hungry.

A place to eat in Covent Garden that serves food for brunch, with good presentation and good taste, friendly service, come early to avoid queues for seating.
