Food was great. Best part was Richie. English is not my first language and he explain to me everything with a lot of patience and even suggest some really good wine. Thank you, it was really help full.

Was there a few nights ago, no reservation but was able to seat me and my friend. Great atmosphere, Richard and Gabi looked after amazingly. Shout out to them. Tuna and broccoli were fantastic. 👏

Delia was a fantastic server and very knowledgable about the food. We had seven dishes between two and finished with a tiramisu cocktail - which was to die for! Highly recommend :)

The absolute perfect balance between enthusiasm “you really must try this“, and efficiency “I will definitely get you out the door in time for your play“. turned what could have been a stressful race against time into a brief but enjoyable evening. Lovely food and great speedy service.

Had a great meal here last night for my birthday. The food was amazing, the cocktails were great and our waitress Delia was very helpful and was able to recommend a number of dishes to us. I also got a special birthday dessert on the house.

Excellent tapas and quick, attentive service. We stopped by the Opera Tavern for a pre-show meal. Leah and the team provided excellent service. The anchovies and ox cheeks were our favorites. Would recommend to anyone dining on the West End.

Perfect Night! I turned up for my birthday with 2 last minute extra people. Richie greeted up and was amazing and managed to juggle some things to accommodate us all. The food, the friendly service and hospitality was outstanding.

All staff were extremely welcoming, friendly and accommodating. We all had a wonderful time, the food was excellent and again the staff were a real asset. We had Leah serving us and she was lovely!

Nice little place for a snack or dinner very close to the theater area. Like everything in London now, you have to book in advance. In general the dishes have a lot of garlic, the quality is average.

I am well connected to Spanish food as my son lives just 30 kilometres north of Barcelona, and I can honestly rate this restaurant as being the best, we had a most excellent meal and was lucky to have the charming and extremely professional waitress in looking after us and she is Gablhlea

Great food, the aubergine parmigiana is a cheesy delight. Ollie, Gabi and Leah were wonderful hosts and would recommend to anyone in the area !

This is the third year in a row that the 6 of us have had our team Christmas lunch at The Opera Tavern. They look after us so well and the food is terrific. Can’t speak highly enough of this place.

Stopped here after seeing Mamma Mia for drinks and tapas. Oliver served us and made some great recommendations. I was a skeptic but the Ox checks were excellent.

We had to sit outside since it was very busy but Aaron was very good at serving us promptly and never let us feel that we were sat outside.

While I had reserved a table seat for an important guest, we were unfortunately seated at the counter. Despite this initial disappointment, the restaurant's busy Christmas party season didn't deter the exceptional service provided by Aaron. We indulged in delicious dishes like pan con tomate, jamón ibérico, garlic prawns, octopus carpaccio, and so on. To make our visit even more special, Aaron graciously accommodated my last-minute request for a personalized dessert plate, which delighted my guest. Thanks to the outstanding food and Aaron's exemplary service, I would definitely return to Opera Tavern.

Popped in for a drink before the theatre, the man took our order quickly however we were sat 20 mins waiting for us to ask about our order and the same man advised he didn’t think he took it. We left as we were not waiting any longer. Poorly managed. Should not accept people for just drinks if all they care about is the diners.

Alejandro provided exceptional service as a bartender, guiding me through the menu with great recommendations. He suggested the tasting menu, which was incredible, and paired it with a Rippa Dorii wine that was absolutely perfect. The churros at the end were delicious—a fantastic way to finish the experience. I highly recommend this restaurant!

Yesterday night, Alejandro was an outstanding bartender; he gave excellent recommendations for the tapas and suggested the tiramisu, his favorite dessert, which turned out to be absolutely delicious. I highly recommend this restaurant!

We were invited by one of our good friend , for his 70th birthday, at Opera Tavern's private room-La Scala room. We were thoroughly impressed by the entire experience from start to finish. If you 're looking for a spot that combine great food, a vibrant atmosphere and exceptional services, this is the place! Must acknowledge & BIG TQ to Leach; Garbiele;Jose & Qchle - they were attentive without being overbearing and really made us feel welcome. For sure can't wait to return ....

We had a lovely evening at Opera Tavern in Covent Garden, a charming spot specializing in Spanish and Italian tapas. The sangria was delightful, and the selection of dishes—from the indulgent Jamón Ibérico and Manchego croquetas to the fresh yellowfin tuna—was excellent. The Patatas Bravas were tasty, though we felt they could have benefited from a bit more bravas sauce. Service was attentive, with Aaron ensuring we were well taken care of. Overall, a fantastic experience—we'll be back!

Great food ! Very tasty and very nice environment

The food itself is not too bad. The wine a bit overpriced. £10 for a pretty mediocre pecorino. Service is friendly enough but you can tell the place is not well managed. The bar table is sticky. No soap in the bathroom. Warm Cava. Not the greatest of experiences.

It was really great afternoon after a long walk in London. I highly recommend this restaurant with the fantastic food and service. Well done to all the people that make it possible.

Very good service from all the team,specially Alejandro the Ecuadorian guy, he's been so helpful, the food was so delicious.

I've had a really nice dining experience here with myself and 3 family members. The place is quite small, but the interior is really nice, and quite moody in the evening. Their wine selections are really plentiful, I had their medium body red wines. Food selection was incredible, my favourites were definitely the Garlic Prawns, and also the Iberico Presa which were cooked amazingly! I'd recommend getting bread with the Garlic Prawns to dip into the sauce.

Wonderful restaurant and bar with amazing small plates. The chef's tasting menu gave a great sample of the menu. Alejandro provided even better service than the food with amazing recommendations and service.

Amazing food and amazing service from Alejandro, Leah and Richie on the bar. Quite blown away from the quality, the flavour and the presentation of everything. If you’re looking for something new and refreshing this is a must try. I highly suggest the pork belly and the pan fried cod which we tried they are truly to die for!

Had a really good night for my birthday, amazing service via Alejandro as we sat on the bar. He recommended his favourites and so we took the pork belly. Leah also made sure we had everything on point. She is was lovely. We had an amazing dinner on a Monday evening! Pavlos the head chef has done a really good job, all the plates were tasty and well presented! Also Alex the bartender very kind and knowledgeable! Will definitely come back! Highly recommended!!

Theatre show and pre-show lunch to celebrate a birthday. We were quite early but were warmly welcomed with a smile and shown to our table. The food was excellent - freshly prepared and very tasty. The service was outstanding from Leah. Very attentive and efficient but didn’t rush us. In the end we were glad we were early and could both enjoy 3 courses. My wife was even given a complimentary birthday dessert as I had mentioned the special occasion when booking. A nice touch. The service and food were wonderful and the ambiance made it a very enjoyable pre show treat. Highly recommended.

Food was great, service was excellent. Atmosphere was affected by staff-training being conducted in the restaurant during opening hours. Was intrusive enough to have to ask if we could be moved to a different table - which, to be fair, we were.
