Chicken Cottage in Brent

Ordered Chicken fillet burger meal and when I got home with it I had 3 pieces of gross chicken and chips!

I have ordered via Uber eats. Opened the box, set everything on a plate only to realise there’s a dead fly on top of the chicken.

I ordered 5 pc fried chicken and he gave me whatever leftover food he had left. Straight up a scam.

Whenever they make grilled chicken, the taste is very nice and fresher than the fried one because it is more healthier and cleaner to eat so you can’t go wrong with it so I am very pleased to eat my food in chicken cottage but they can add more brand new grilled menus to make some changes so you can increase the business service extremely higher. I ordered of Uber at night. Worst decision I ever made. The chips where somehow over cooked and stone cold at the same time. The grilled chicken burger was so disgusting I could not eat more than three bites. Wasted my money and can't contact them for a refund! DO NOT ORDER PLEASE

Was asked 3 times to "pay in cash" and to "go and get some" when I said I didn't have any. When I insisted on paying with card the lady at the till just looked at me like I was a piece of s**t. Someone should tell her it says on the door they accept card. Awful customer service.

AVOID!! ordered yesterday a chicken wrap which was the complete opposite of what I asked for it had peppers and tomatoes in when I specifically asked for no salad no cheese either which I paid for. Chips tasted undercooked and was freezing and DRY!! The wrap was a plain chicken when I asked for breaded chicken .. like how it is that hard to understand seriously.. it left me in a very upset mood and I use to only come here. In the last 8 months this place had gone completely downhill real shame and shame on you too!! Plus it’s not cheap either sort it out! Hi everyone, I went there just 10 minutes ago I think was the manager who asked for the meal. The first thing he asked me do I have a Cash and I said no sorry can I pay by card and he look at me and say okay after 15 minutes I ask for my meal and he say he’s not coming because you don’t have a Cash can you guys believe that I was so angry but I come down and I told him I would report him to the council. He’s not allowed to ask for cash.

Disgusting place ordered a chicken burger there were bones in the chicken fillet ,how is it even a fillet burger ,waste of my money left the burger on the counter

I love fried chicken and Ive been to quite a few different spots around London. This spot is the best, super delicious food and the staff are really friendly. Highly recommend.

It seem to be a problem with the cashier or card payment all the time when the young man was behind the till. He refused to take payment via card eventhough there was the sign outside the shop that accept the payment via card , apple pay and google. I saw 3-4 customer in front of me, walked out because of the young man refused the take payment via card payment. everytime i went and young man behind the counter, he always said the card machine is not working but some other staff has no problems to take payment by card. We do like the menu and the foods there was ok just only problem with the payment. If the shop not adjusting this problem you will lose a lot of customers.

The worst ever chicken cottage i have ever had visted. Visited today n guy at the counter literally swearing a esp community. Shouldve reported the incident but was in rush. So disrespectful and disturbing.

I dont have anything against the quality of the food but the staff are shocking. I work down the road and i visited chicken cottage yesterday, i was served by a polite indian guy, he mentioned the card machine was playing up but offered to give it a go and it was fine. The transaction and the service was smooth but today omg, i went back in and i was served by a rude european girl. I placed my order and took out my card it was a credit card she said the card machine is not working i explained that it is a credit card and i cannot take out cash. She saw i had a £5 which i did and told me to use my £5. This note was not mine i was asked by a friend to change his old £5 as i was passing the bank, so i was not going to use someone else's money. She completely refused to try the machine, the indian guy told her to try it and still she refused. I know what is going on, i know they do not want to use it because of bank charges on the business from the bank. Not my problem to be honest, you run a business that should factor in these charges. This european girl should never in the future run her own business as she does not understand how its done. Poor poor service run by amateurs.

If I could give less then 1 star then I would. I ordered via uber eats, chicken cottage changed the arrival time 4 times which left me waiting almost 2 hours for my food - I was unable to contact anyone from the restaurant as the number provided just rang out. I will NEVER order from them again and advice that no one else does either because they provided an absolutely awful service !!! the only reason I ordered from them to begin with was because they had stated the arrival time would be in 20 minutes. Absolutely awful.

Delivery on time and quick. The food was good. Chicken burger good and tasty, wins hot and good. Just would say I think is a bit over price. I would order again. Also hygiene rating is 5 stars.

their food quality has gone so low which is a shame really as it used to be nice. the chips are often very much oily and chicken not cooked thoroughly not to mention hygiene level not so good. too bad

I have bought food from them just once. it was enough to say goodbye to them for ever. Their price are high. And the most strange thing that happened was that I paid 5 pound and I was supposed to receive 5p back but he did not returned it till I told him that he need to return 5p. And the quality of the oil they use is not good at all maybe they are not changing the oil they use for months... Never let your children eat there very unhealthy oil and food.

The best chicken shop chain outside the commercial behemoths. I love their chicken🐔 n chips and the staff at West Hendon are an absolute delight. Will never tire of this establishment even if my heart does !!

Just ordered 5 spicy wings, they were dry, stale, luke warm, and they smelt strongly of cigarette. Poor hygiene from the workers, absolutely disgusting.

Chicken poppers are so tasty, fries also good, best bang for the buck. Absolutely the best Chicken Cottage in London for sure. Also the nicest worker in there HIGHLY RECOMMENDED

Under new management, staffs are well manner and provide high quality customer service. Most of time I visit with my family eat Grill chicken with Rice and spicy wings. Prices are reasonable and good place to eat in or take away. I highly recommend to visit atleast once and add on in experience.

I only get the chicken wrap and spicy wings from here top quality. Used to badly run few years back, apparently new management now. Food is much better now.

In short avoid, Unless of course you like Luke warm, old, dry, tough as old boots chicken sandwiches. Then this is your place. Knock yourself out, no worries cause the chicken will do.

At 3£ for two double cheeseburgers, it's really ok.

Few times I went there to order some take away and always disappointed, for example, they offer two double cheese burger for 3 pounds and they only put one burger on each, and today I asked and they did not put it as they have to do it. I will not go anymore.

I been at the chicken cottage in wilsden green a cuple of hurs ago and i bought 2 double chees burger. the it was complitly dry, and overcook but it's ok. the person that served me ( a woman) was no smiling and upset, but it's ok.I was already in the tube when i start to eat my burger when at the second bite i found 1 hair inside. I put out the hair and when the burger was almost finish i felt sometigh crunchy in my mouth and i found 4 cm of plastic black wire in! All this is unacceptable!!!!!! I was the only one in the shop, it was not a busy moment so, she just doesn't care about what she was doing!!! If that burgher was for a kid, the kid would have suffocated!! I really hope that you gonna do something about it. I ll never go to the chicken shop anymore.
