Compré dos chocolates calientes, absolutamente delicioso. El servicio era genial y la música y el ambiente eran perfectos. Lo recomendaría.

Este es un lugar increíble con personal muy servicial. Lo visité con mi hija, que quería un chocolate caliente con malvaviscos y crema. Pedí un café con leche para llevar, y la señora detrás del mostrador nos dijo que tomáramos asiento mientras nuestra orden estaba preparada. Le mencioné que mi coche estaba aparcado en una doble fila, y necesitaba vigilarlo. Rápidamente me preparó el café con leche y me sugirió que esperara en mi auto mientras mi hija de 8 años se quedaba adentro para su chocolate caliente. El personal amablemente acompañó a mi hija a la puerta e incluso se ofreció a acompañarla al coche! ¡Eso es lo que llamas servicio de 5 estrellas! Mi hija comentó que el chocolate caliente era "delicioso y delicioso", y me pareció que el café con leche era muy sabroso también. Gracias a todo el personal!

Con chocolates calientes, productos horneados y todo tipo de golosinas chocolateras en exhibición, ¡fue difícil elegir! Terminé escogiendo algunos de los bombones (en la foto) y estaban totalmente desaliñados... creo que el naranja era mi favorito.

Wonderful calm atmosphere and the hot chocolates were delicious! There were so many sweet treats available, I couldn't choose! :) the staff are very friendly and helpful and the service was amazing, would definitely recommend for a decadent hot chocolate, sweet treat or a coffee!

A warm welcome from the lovely Flower. The nice chap on the counter was knowledgeable and advised us on coffee. The cappuccino was red hot with a chocolate on the side and topped with a yummy drizzle of chocolate instead of the usual foam and powder. We had millionaire shortbread, carrot cake and mine was a delicious lemon cake. Would definitely visit again. Nice and clean and comfortable seats

Greed coffee shop.The owner treated us to almonds in chocolate. Wonderful and delicious. It is now a ritual for us to sit outside when there are seats.

We had brunch at Cocoa Tree . The toasted sandwiches were really rich and tasty, not to mention the fabulous brownies. We don’t know what kind of coffee they serve, but it is superb.. The family hu run the coffee are really lovely and helpful too. Definitely, we will return.

Pre-booked table party of 5. Service was extremely slow. All three meals (two were sharing platters) came at entirely different times, each was able to eat theirs before the other arrived!! Food was average, nothing special. Then we come to th brownies. They advertise as served warm ..they were not. Also very the were very dry. I have had much better elsewhere. With a name like cocoa tree and the emphasis on there exquisite chocolates, I would expect to be served one of the best brownies I've ever eaten, to at least somewhere up there. And as the menu is limited, I would expect what is served to be excellent. Unfortunately it was not. All in all and considering all the other reviews this place was a really let down. Also worth adding they, also told us when we went to order dessert, they needed our table as they were only reserved for an hour. That was entirely down to the restaurants extremely slow service and not us. Therefore it was a little title annoying to them feel rushed to eat it up our dessert. When they finally arrived!!

What a wonderful find! We went over to the north west for a trip out on the east lancs railway and looking for something to eat and a cup of tea came across cocoa tree! There was something for all three of us (one a veggie and one vegan) such a lovely cosy atmosphere and friendly staff. Would recommend and would love to take a trip back over here! T

Having heard that the Cocoa Tree was coming back, we came to pay it a visit for lunch. There were a selection of sandwiches, but I picked the Ham and Cheese Croissant. At about £6, this simply wasn’t worth it; my friend wasn’t wowed by his savoury choice, either. However, our iced chocolate/shake made up for this, as did the indulgent brownies. We also treated ourselves to some chocolate bars. My advice would be to just come for the sweet stuff.

To set the scene: it's heavily raining outside, I have been up since 4am to catch a flight to see a friend, my energy levels are draining. I don't know the area and asked for a recommendation from a local shop keeper. They pointed me in the direction of the Cocoa Tree cafe. The windows are steamy and it's full of people, solo chocolate lovers and friends catching up. The staff are smiling and willing to help despite it being busy. I ordered the dark hot chocolate with no trimmings and this is how I recommend it. Don't ruin it with syrups and marshmallows, let the chocolate seep through your veins. It's thick and dark, smooth and chocolate, a real hot chocolate. Served with a homemade chocolate on the side. I sat with a regular customer who frequents the cafe 3 times a week. A lovely lady willing to chat. I've since been reading my book but too distracted by the hot chocolate to concentrate.Even if you're only flying into Manchester, take the tram to Chorlton and visit Cocoa Tree, you won't regret it.

We have been coming into the coco tree for a long time and has always been a lovely friendly place . We have supported the shop by having take away through this uneasy time for everyone but today was a little different the staff always were lovely but the drinks we received were a lot lighter . To the point I went back to the shop to tell them we had only half a cup each . The cup size is always the one we have. To be informed this was correct . Im sorry but are cups have never only been half full before And we have had many take away cups from here over the years. We could have poured the 2 together and still not had a full cup and at over £7....... We found this not vaule for money as are cups have always been full.and whilst yes a lovely drink im not paying for half cups . I wish you all the best but we will find another place to by my drink x

My Fiancee and I were walking through Chorlton just going for a walk and noticed that the Cocoa Tree was open so we asked if they did take aways as as all the coffee shops in Chorlton were closed due to the Covid - 19. The gentleman that served us was very friendly very hospitable and welcoming.Great service will definitely be recommending the Cocoa Tree to Friends and Family. And will definitely be going back.

Lovely family run cafe. First time I had the Hot Chocolate. It's perfect, very chocolatey. Family and Dog friendly. Lots of buses plus Tram. On road parking opposite and free.

I live abroad but visited the shop when over at Christmas. Not a big place and if it's busy you might struggle to get a seat. The staff are very friendly and the coffee good. But, the chocolates they sell are truly outstanding. As a regular visit to the chocolatiers of Antwerp and Bruges I can honestly say that these are up there with the best. They look fabulous and are full of flavour. Will definitely be ordering another box for Mothers Day.

We called in to Cocoa Tree last Sunday afternoon (29.09.2019) just to get out of the house really without knowing where we wanted to go. It was one of those lazy Sundays but with rain pouring down so, having searched Google for a coffee shop nearby, we decided to come here

I love to pop in to Cocoa Tree for a delicious treat. You have not tried a proper hot chocolate until you’ve tried this place. Blended with chocolate buttons and served by friendly and happy staff that want to chat with you and make you feel welcome rather than being treated like ‘another person in the queue’ like the bigger chains near by. It’s a great place to relax and watch the world go by. Try the brownies or homemade chocolates too!

Waffles to die for and beautiful filtered coffee. Loved it here and will definitely be back. The melted chocolate and the salted caramel ice cream were perfect!

Visited here with two friends as we were walking past and fancied some chocolate. They were very accommodating and warmed my salted caramel brownie up on request (which was the best brownie I’ve ever had). We also received complimentary chocolates as we had waited a few minutes longer for our hot chocolate (which we hadn’t even realised)! I live in Cheshire but I will definitely be popping in when I’m near the area. Thanks!
