La comida era sabrosa, incluyendo la hamburguesa vegetariana. El servicio fue rápido y el personal era extremadamente amable y eficiente.

Hemos recogido una comida para llevar desde aquí, ya que es una de mis tiendas de pescado y patatas fritas preferidas en la zona. El bacalao siempre está rebozado a la perfección y sabe delicioso. Las porciones son grandes y el servicio es genial, muy recomendable

Probé la envoltura de pollo £ 6. 50 fue masivo tengo que decir uno de los mejores wraps tenido en mucho tiempo, el personal es tan amable bien hecho y gracias. Realmente lo disfruté

Great Fish & Chip shop by far the best In the area I pass 4 chip shops just to come to this one. Sausage in batter very good along with saveloys. Fish is good too. All cooked fresh while you wait. Very friendly staff always go out of their way on service and politeness. Also a lovely Fish Tank to look at while you wait

New to the area and been twice to here first time had cod and chips, cod not bad but chips really bad, second time Savoloy and chips again the chips really bad... think not changing the oil shame as was handy to go there.. not cheap so will have to go elsewhere in future

I have been using Codfella's for years. A lovely family owned and run take-away with brilliant staff who are very helpful and chatty. The best fish and chips and great kebabs all at a very reasonable price. Everything is cooked fresh so it's piping hot and the portions are very generous. The fish is lovely and white with just the right amount of crispy batter. The chips are perfect too. What is there not to like? Highly recommended.

Been here for lots of takeaway fish and chips and this place really lives up to its name and is the cod father. The service is always good and the fish and chips is always delicious. Definitely the best fish and chip shop around

I thought I should provide a review of this take-away. We found it by chance when my daughter ordered a home delivery through one of the online apps. She had ordered, chicken wings, kebab and I ordered fish and chips, when it arrived I was astounded by how fresh the fish & chips were, absolutely superb. We had our own favourite fish and chip shop which we went to exclusively, but from this moment we changed, we did not realise it was an option and so close to home. We have now used this take-away on numerous occasions and it has never disappointed. The full range of food is of a similar quality, can not fault the place.

Picked up fish and chips from here one evening and as always it was delicious. Crispy cod and tasty chips, definitely the best fish and chip shop around.

We order deliveries from codfella quite often. It is so nice to have found a fish and chip shop that is so consistantly good. They have a good menu that suits my family as i love fish but others in my house prefer kebab and chicken, Codfellas has something for all of us. Food always arrives piping hot from a very friendly delivery man. It's never late if anything its usually early. I would 100 percent recommend this place to anyone.

I can't stress enough of the quality of the food from this fish and chip shop. Firstly, the fish is the freshest fish we have ever tasted from a fish and chip shop. The cod and haddock is absolutely fantastic. The chips are also done properly and never under cooked and the oil used is clearly changed on a regular basis, wow so nice and crisp tasting. Then there is the staff. What can I say. Everyone in this shop and associated with them are absolutely brilliant. From the personal interaction to the care in the quality of the food makes for a really exceptional service from them. Great large portion of skinless fish and chips served by friendly and efficient staff. Quality great.

Popped here to get a takeaway one night during lockdown. The fish and chips were delicious, probably one of the beat I’ve ever had. The prices were good and guy in the shop was friendly and polite. This is definitely worth trying if you haven’t already.
