Cosy Club Leeds in Leeds

Nice food and friendly service. My friend had the fish, which was quite a modest portion. My buttermilk chicken was lovely and the burger looked superb!

My friends and I were looking for a peaceful spot for coffee yesterday afternoon in Leeds city centre. Being a Sunday, most places were either too busy, or nearing closing time. Having often walked past Cosy Club but never been inside, we decided to give it a try, despite being unfamiliar with their franchise and menu offerings. At the upstairs entrance, we were warmly greeted by a polite gentleman. When we mentioned that we only wanted hot drinks, he kindly handed us drinks menus and invited us to sit wherever we felt comfortable. The interior was beautifully classic, and we particularly appreciated being able to sit in the restaurant’s sofa dining area. As we do not drink alcohol, we preferred this space, which was set apart from the bar. My friends ordered a selection of coffees, while I ordered a hot chocolate. Although the bar staff took some time to prepare and deliver our drinks - understandably so, given the weekend rush - the service was courteous throughout. The drinks themselves, while perfectly fine, were average. What stood out, however, was the comfortable and welcoming atmosphere. We were able to sit and chat for about an hour, which we greatly appreciated. We chose not to try any food or snacks, as we had a restaurant reservation elsewhere. Nevertheless, I will be sure to visit again next time I am in Leeds city centre, in need of an inviting and relaxed setting for a casual outing with friends.

Very quiet when we went on a Friday morning which affected the atmosphere a little. They had also run out of pancakes due to a supply issue. Otherwise very good with a great menu . I would recommend Cosy Club.

Walked past this place so many times as I've always got something to do but this time thought here we go let's have a nosey 🙃 we didn't have food so can't comment on that but the venue says it all cosy club absolutely stunning inside 😊 was not what I was expecting definitely surprised for the good we had a few beers and cocktails service was really good and atmosphere top notch and this was mid afternoon cant wait to go back in the evening 😊

A bit on the pricey side and the menu is a bit limited, but would recommend for the cocktails if nothing else.

This is the third cosy club I've visited. The other 2 are Manchester and Nottingham. You'd think all restaurants in the chain would be the same, but alas no. In Leeds, there are no warm plates o r cups like the other two places, meaning food went cold. It's the little things that mean a lot. Sadly, I won't return. Also, the sour dough toast had mould growing on the crust, meaning checks are obviously not carried out.

It was my 21st birthday meal and I had a brilliant time, the food was delicious and the service was so lovely and kind all around had an amazing time thanks to Josh and Lewis (apologies if the spelling is wrong). Thank you so much for a great night <3

Came with my husband - great venue, lovely vibe, tasty drinks and tasty food! Came here originally for a Xmas party and was blown away. Now we keep coming back and enjoy each trip we do. A lovely LGBTQ+friendly place we highly recommend ! Love the outdoor area with the heaters and little blankets!

First time visiting today... what a lovely place, staff were so attentive and food was lovely! will visit again .... only downside was the toilets could have done with a little attention

We were a group of six girls staying locally. We stopped here for cocktails & ended up eating here twice during our weekend!! Staff super friendly, cocktails good value & great tasting, food delicious with a range of options and service was very good on all occasions! Would definitely return when back in Leeds.

A nice atmosphere. Very clean. Had a really attentive waitress who took breakfast orders from us. Breakfast came quickly and was well presented. Hot and tasty. Drinks also came very quick too. Would definitely recommend for the price £32 for two breakfasts and drinks.

I have gotten so used to going places recently where you can tell the staff don't care or service and food is below acceptable and I can honestly say there was nothing Cosy Club could have done any better for our party on this occasion. The greeting was welcoming, the atmosphere was lovely and cosy, all of the food was delicious and hot, the staff were attentive and friendly, we didn't feel rushed either. My colleagues who hadn't visited before were surprised at the venue they never knew about it and loved the decor and feel. Absolutely perfect for our Christmas celebrations - a big thank you to all staff.

Busy but amazing wait staff seated our family of 5 and were super accommodating.

What a disappointment. This was my second visit whilst collecting my grandson from university. When I visited in September I had the best pancakes with bacon and maple syrup I had ever had, and had told everyone about them. This time what a shame the pancakes were dry, bacon overcooked and maple syrup tasted watered down.

Really nice cocktails and the staff was really friendly. The only drawback was, it was a little bit too dark, but otherwise a lovely place for a nice meal out.

Fabulous service, lovely food. We had a slight problem with the food it was sorted immediately with no issues and brilliant service! The 5 of us really enjoyed it, and will definitely return!

As a group we visited. The order was mistaken and my food order was missed. The manager dragged the waitress to the table who denied there was an error despite 5 people having food and the 6th not being served. She was rude and disrespectful throughout. I was made to feel like a criminal because of their error.

Our family went in for dinner on Saturday 9th November 2024. From start to finish the service we received was first class. Our waitress Liv was so kind to us and nothing was too much trouble, she made my 3 year old daughter feel like she was a VIP. The food really was delicious and we will definitely be back again when we visit Leeds.Thank you all so much.

Ruby has been a great waitress welcoming us for our anniversary and partner’s birthday. The manager in a blue dress then took my order personally due to my allergies ( my Appoglies she told me her name but after my cocktail I’ve forgot) the food was good quality as well as the drinks the only thing I would feedback is that our mains came out before we finished starters which was a bit awkward as we had to choose to leave food under hot lights or leave our starter. The gent at main host wore a badge that had a finger on it , service was also amazing with witty jokes and his upsell on shots were great. The table had water on and was poured for us and we enjoyed our food by candle light our table. 9/11/24

A large, stylish bar with very reasonable prices, right in the centre of Leeds (which may or may not be a good thing🙄). There is a nice outside terrace (no views to speak of). The bar tender was efficient and welcoming. Unfortunately, at least 3-4 tables in the lounge area had not been cleared on my arrival and may well remain so to this day, for all I know 😬; I had to move two glasses and bottles from my desired seat on to an adjacent table. Eventually , all tables were eventually cleared and sanitised about fifteen minutes after my arrival. I thought the house wine was ok and was reasonably priced, given the up-market ambiance. I did not eat here this evening. TOP TIPS: by all means, book a five star (over priced) Leeds hotel if you wish, but visit this place, with all speed, for a classy experience: drink and|or meal at more reasonable, down-to-earth prices. Recommended.

Strange reception - we waited at the ‘wait to be seated sign’ and someone walked up to us with a very straight face, stopped at the station and just looked at us. We asked for a table for two; no smile or response and they just continued staring. At this point I thought maybe it was bookings only, which was strange as the place was the antonym of busy, so I asked if it was reservations only. At that point the person spoke and seemed to get into gear, but the rudeness had put me off so we left.

Makaya serviced she us she was great very friendly and looked after us as it was my birthday meal with work colleagues , i will be back!

We visited for dinner after work. Lovely restaurant with stunning decor and a great atsmosphere. Good menu choices and the food did not disappoint. We were served by Makaya who was brilliant and very attentive - nothing was too much trouble. Will definitely go back for a return visit.

Always like visiting cosy club put 3 stars on food because menu been changed always gone with buttermilk chicken because love the sauces you get with it but don't get it now 🤔

Perfect meal out with a friend, warm welcome followed lovely service and food

This was my first time dining at the cosy club in Leeds and first impressions absolutely amazing. From the moment I arrived and taken to my seat I loved the decor and the paintings, the place is so clean and tidy and u can take the establishment take great pride in health and hygiene and making sure customers have the best experience. All staff especially my server charley gave the best customer service to all customers, so friendly and polite, Charley is a credit to this company and u can tell she takes great pride in her job, lovely lady👍 now for my good review so I went with the full breakfast and presentation lovely but it tasted even better 🙂. Well done to all the team, I will most definitely be dinning here again and recommending to my friends and family. Also I noticed some other reviewers said the price was too much, I personally think the price is fair and decent especially being based in the city centre and it is one of the top class restaurants too

Lovely evening here. Staff couldn’t do enough for us, all really friendly, fun, and helpful. The drinks were good, but a little overpriced. The food was lovely, but the portion sizes were a little small. All in all, a nice place to visit.

Alice was a super lovely server. It was reassuring to have someone ask about allergies when we arrived and the manager took our order. The atmosphere was welcoming and all the staff were friendly and helpful. The food was great too!

Great and quick service, Server Eve was lovely and knowledable helping to pick out a good dish. I had spanish chicken and my colleague had steak. We both commented on how lovely the dishes were and satisfied our needs and wants. Thank you :)

Honestly, we go here frequently but have to stop - £19 for 2x drinks, a wine and a beer, is taking the p. It was empty this Saturday and I can only assume it is because the prices are extortionate. Sadly, we spent the time there looking for other places in Leeds to relax in.

We were not informed it would be a long wait for food, however we could see the staff were busy so tried to be patient. After 45 minutes we asked for an update from the waiter. About an hour after arriving we were told our order had not been sent to the kitchen. Not a great experience, particularly when you're with a hungry toddler! We were offered our meal on the house but it would have been impossible to take them up on this due to needing to feed our toddler asap. We could not have waited any longer.

Great fillet steak (perfectly cooked) and service; value for money

A great place to go for a cocktail. It's 2-4-1 from 4pm-8pm so £12.95 for 2. The quality is really good and the bar staff are all really good. Table service is fantastic. It's dog friendly which is also great. I've read a lot of reviews that complain about the food here but when we ordered and ate our dinner I have to say it was great quality. We enjoy it here and will be back in future!

First visit to the cosy club but definitely won't be my last. Also very attentive to one of my guests that is celiac. Excellent menu and excellent service

Absolutely brilliant experience this morning at breakfast. Luke in particular was outstanding. As a general manager I’m always watching how staff work in other venues , he is a genuinely a credit to the team. Couldn’t do enough for us.

I thought the staff here were great, really attentive and with two members of the party having food intolerances, I felt they took it seriously and had plenty of choices available. The staff were friendly, chatty and competent

Visited for breakfast with my husband. I'm Coeliac (gluten free) so knowing that Cosy Club has an excellent gluten free menu and is very conscious of cross-contamination is one of the main reasons why I enjoy eating there.

Arrived 10.30am, Tuesday 2nd July 2024. Whenever we visit Leeds for some retail therapy, the first place we visit after leaving the train station is Cosy Club, Leeds for breakfast. And its always GREAT. For a start, you are always greeted by staff who smile at you. And then it gets even better. It's always a GREAT eating and drinking experience. GREAT service. The serving staff are smiley, attentive and very efficient. GREAT coffee, I dont know what blend you use, but it tastes GREAT. The breakfast isn't always GREAT, its ALWAYS EXCELLENT. Freshly cooked, quality ingredients, and the poached eggs are perfect every time. It's always piping HOT. Altogether a GREAT plate of food. If I lived in Leeds, I'd definitely try out lunch and dinner, and the drinks menu looks impressive too. Well done Cosy Club makes a real change to 'get what you pay for'. Opening in Sheffield soon I hear. We will definitely be giving that one a go when we are in South Yorkshire.

A huge venue with an old school vibe. Good prices. Good service but a bit ordinary overall. Food was good but there are many places like it. They are child/family friendly.

Just had very pleasant evening indeed, looked after by a great team, starting with amazing happy hour cocktails followed by delicious plates of food. Having visited the Liverpool restaurant a few times, we chose to visit whilst in Leeds and the standards are excellent in both venues. Dishes cooked by great chefs, front of house team attentive and fabulous cocktail mixologists! 🍸 If only we had one in our city....

Overall average experience. Terrible coffee, super slow service (Sunday lunchtime), and a tiny veggie big breakfast. There's better, independent places in Leeds that could do with your support instead

Taken to Cozy Club by my cubs for Father's Day and was treated to a cut glass with a miniature from Cozy Club. I had the Dirty Chicken Burger, which was delicious, followed by a very tasty Miso Custard Tart. The rest of the family had some sharing plates in beef croquettes, buttermilk chicken and mac 'n' cheese, followed by chocolate mousse and brownie. Shame the Flat White was tepid when it arrived. Great food friendly service - the staff were so nice.

I often visit Cosy Club when my family come to Leeds. Always easy to book a last minute table or to walk in and be seated. Menu is always super varied (for meat eaters and vegetarians/vegans) and the service is always perfect! Recently visited on a quiet Monday afternoon and the waitress was super attentive and very good at her job! Thank you!

Came here for some food before seeing a concert at the arena. I didn't know what to expect, but the decor of the place is very historic. Full of ancient portraits. So the food looked good. Had the buttermilk fried and chicken and beef burger. We did have to send one of the burgers back as it was a lot more under cooked than the other, and my friend doesn't like pink red meat. They were really polite though and swapped her burger. We didn't have any desserts as they didn't sound too appealing to us. They did however have a matcha martini that I had to try. Overall was a nice place. I wouldn't pick it all the time but I would come back. Staff were lovely

We visited on Sunday afternoon and had a lovely time. The cocktails were lovely and our server Charley was so helpful and friendly. We had the nicest time, my only complaint would be the portion size of my dish was quite small and although it was delicious, I left still fairly hungry. We’ve eaten here many times and I’ve never managed to finish a meal before from how large the portion sizes generally are, so this may have just been my misunderstanding of the dish, but when ordering the ravioli it was only around 8 pieces and the garlic bread was one piece of bread and was a really crumbly and dry slice. However, this is the only occasion we have been and had any complaints at all. A lovely place with a great environment, just perhaps not a dish I would order again.

The vibe was lovely overall. I went out for a Mother’s day brunch, and the food was lovely overall, just a few slight issues but still edible. It’s a bit dark, i will admit but overall, absolutely amazing!

I also asked for chipotle mayo and was told that they didn't have any but the server kindly made some for me specially which was very kind. Overall very good service and the food was lovely too!!

Marvelous! All the Cosy Clubs that I've visited have great decor and this one is no exception. Fantastic range of fab ceiling and wall lights. The restaurant is upstairs and there is a small balcony area with more tables. Very spacious inside. I have to mention my waitress, Phoebe, what a delightful young lass! Polite, warm, welcoming, charming and outright helpful - an absolute treasure of an asset to this company - I hope the boss reads this. Lovely, lovely person. Thank you for looking after me. A jug of water gets brought to your table, but I also ordered a Watermelon and basil cooler, ohhh it was delish! Watermelon, basil, pineapple juice and soda. Then I noticed the Ginger Oat Matcha Latté on the menu, so ordered one of those too. To eat I had the Massaman Cauliflower - roasted sweet potato, sugar snap peas, butterbeans and flat bread. (without the chillis though) and also a side of twice roasted new potatoes tossed in garlic and butter. It was all fab and very filling, no room for dessert. Even without the chillis the main made my nose run, it had a subtle kick to it even so. Very impressed all round. Big rahhh and a gong for Phoebe. Highly recommended and yes, revisit, no brainer.

What a gorgeous establishment! The decor is palatial!! The food was so good I returned the next day for brunch. Service was good, not amazing but the ambience and the quality of the food really did make up for it. Both days we sat out on the balcony watching the Leeds entertainment, fantastic spot for people watching.

Stopped here today for a spot of Lunch. Unfortunately there was a mix up with our order, however the staff couldn't have been more helpful in correcting the mistake and our experience was made all the more enjoyable by thier fantastic customer service! And the food was amazing (as always). Would definitely go here again, we highly recommend this place!

Was alright, we was asked when we entered if there was any allergies which we provided, promptly seated then was presented the menus and left to choose what we wanted, when it came to take the order the waitress ran through the allergens again, after being asked again a gluten free menu appeared and proceeded to take the order, it felt a little rushed as the person had the menu in their hands for a whole 5 seconds after we had already been there for a good 15 minutes, food was nice as always.

Myself and my friends are regular visitors to the Cosy Club. Today we visited in a group of 8, with two of the guests in large electric wheelchairs. The staff are always so accommodating and reserve us a suitable table with plenty of space. Today we had quite a stressful issue where one of the wheelchairs had lost charge and needed to be plugged in to recharge. We were so well looked after by Luke, Sophie and Pippa. They quickly arranged and reset another table for our group at the other side of the restaurant, close to a plug socket so the chair could be charged. This was no trouble to them at all, and they kept checking on everyone to make sure we were all ok. Thank you so much for looking after us today, it was greatly appreciated 😊

Nice if you’re in the area but my poached egg had multiple pieces of eggshell unfortunately which really put me off. They kindly offered to remove it from the bill though with no fuss at all

Place that lives up to its name , cosy atmosphere, quite relaxing. Had a classic breakfast on Saturday morning which was quite lovely. Great staff who were very polite and thoughtful . Highly recommend it !

The brunch was needed after a night out and was really well prepared. Also want to say a big thanks to Phoebe for being so amazing when our group of 8 walked in without a booking. She was really attentive and welcoming, and everything about the service was super professional whilst remaining grounded and personable, thank you!

Went up to Cosy Club on Saturday night just to grab a quick drink with my partner and we were planning on meeting my parents there. Walked up the stairs to be greeted with a blank stare by a man who I assume was a manager. I tentatively said we were just looking for a drink and he just gestured to the bar without making any real effort to help us or explain- we ended up awkwardly perched on the outside terrace waiting for my parents until I decided it was too awkward. As I was leaving I saw the same man very nicely explaining and helping a group of older adults (my partner and I are 20 and 22) find a space for a drink. I just thought it was really unfair that just because we looked younger that he was almost irritated with us, I wonder if my parents had arrived sooner if the attitude would've been different... not very impressed with the service at all
