The Ivy Victoria Quarter in Leeds

Myself, wife and our youngest daughter visited the Ivy for birthday lunch for my daughter, we were seated quickly and our daughter congratulated on her birthday! Had the lumch time menu which did not dissapoint ! Skewers were lovely as was the minute steak and choclate fudge, all in all a lovely visit, thank you Ivy for making it a special memory for our daughter!

Lovey setting and atmosphere to suite all ages. Lots of variety on the menu. Excellent quality food. Ask for Stephen… he’s a gem!

Excellent service. Our waitress Priya, was outstanding she asked why we were in Leeds and we explained we were getting married the next day. To our surprise she then arranged with her manager for four glasses of champagne to be delivered to the table. Later on I had a complimentary dessert as well. She was super efficient and friendly throughout the service. The food was gorgeous and the restaurant is beautifully decorated in true Ivy style.

Came here with my family to celebrate my 70th birthday. Expecting a first class meal and service. The meals we eventually got were nice the service was non existent. No sides were brought to the table as the waitress forgot to order them so some mains had to go back and be made again as having waited so long for the sides to arrive they went cold . My niece in the end was brought 3 steaks as they kept bringing her the wrong order. When the correct steak arrived it was extremely rare , she had ordered medium. She ate it under sufference as by this time she was past caring.The waitress was rude , we had to ask her 4 times to refill our drinks order! After much frustration we called the Manager over who was really nice and apologetic and rectified everything and also adjusted the bill and we weren't charged for any sides and given a couple of bottles of wine on the house. It was upsetting as many of my family hadn't been before and were very disappointed and will not return. I however know how great the service at the Ivy can be so on this occasion felt very let down by incompetent waiting staff.

We visited here on a Sunday evening after having quite a large lunch. We only wanted a light dinner so chose the Ivy classic of fishcake and poached egg. The staff were pleasant and coped very well on a very busy evening.

Fab service by Meg! Amazing food, gorgeous place. Been before and never fails! Thank you! Highly recommend to anyone thinking of going!

Beautiful restaurant service and food. Just be aware if you have poached eggs… one cut and it exploded onto my top and jeans.. only this spoilt my birthday treat. otherwise just lovely…

First time I had been was on New Year’s Eve and I was very impressed with the whole experience. Would highly recommend and will definitely visit again.

This was my first trip to the Ivy. 2 of us had the Christmas 3 course menu. It was pretty average. I had higher expectations of this high profile establishment. The squid tempura starter was the best bit. The steak main was not great and the Christmas pudding was dry. There was some theatre with setting light to it and our waitress was lovely. They let us linger and atmosphere was good. They also let us move tables as we didn't like our first table.

Loved the food and atmosphere here. Our waitress was really nice as well. I enjoyed the venison tartar and the steak with peppercorn sauce and fries.

Been to this place a many times, but I visited on the weekend with my mum and was sadly turned away! I found it extremely appauling. Because my mum was veiled she mentioned to us to sit on the outside of the restaurant in the cold baring in mind it was cold and rainy outside and my mother being old would like to sit in a warm restaurant. Not on the outskirts. If you’re coming to a restaurant you’d expect the same treatment as others. I was actually shocked to see the treatment difference to when I would come on my own with a friend! Absolutely horrendous! Would definitely not recommend this place to anyone to visit or ever be back myself!

Wonderful service and atmosphere. Went in for a late night drink and dessert but wasn’t impressed by much. Halloween special dessert felt like a Mr Whippy ice cream, definitely not worth the price. Cocktails were alright but nothing new.

The Ivy in Leeds is such a lovely restaurant and I cannot recommend visiting here enough. We came for breakfast and were not disappointed. The staff are amazing and attentive but for me, nothing beats the amazing food!! The full English was to die for and really filling too.

We had a fantastic time. Service was perfect really kind, attentive and polite staff. Even though it was busy we were served very quickly and had our drinks with us right away followed shortly by our food which was piping hot and very tasty. The music was great and the place had a warm and welcoming atmosphere. It's Popular for a reason so best to book online as we did. Would highly recommend Incredible value for money. We went for an afternoon tea which was brilliant and the atmosphere was great but the best part was the service. Adam was just amazing and he definitely added to the experience. Recommended definitely.

I went on mon 2nd dec for afternoon tea with my daughter. It was a gift from her for my 60th birthday. From the moment we stepped in to us leaving was amazing. The service was exceptional. The afternoon tea was amazing. I would never get sick of eating the food. It was one of those situations where I didnt want it to end. Everything was so fresh and it was all so amazingly tasty. I would recommend a visit to anyone. Well done.

6 hot meals all cold. The service before receiving the food was poor but they did redo our meals and gave a generous discount which was appreciated.

Always enjoy coming here for breakfast as a treat whilst I'm here at the film festival. However, I was disappointed that the kippers has been dropped from the menu as I love kippers and it was only place in Leeds that I could find that serve it. I did in the end go for the full English which was very nice. Service was very welcoming and professional and the vibe is always so classy. If you want that 5* review, the kippers need to make a return for my visit next year.

Tried the fixed price 1917 menu, the chicken starter was lovely, very Thai inspired with a nice chilli kick, the Shepherds pie main course was rich and tasty, with lovely red wine gravy. I could have eaten two. I probably should have added a side as the portions are not large, but it was a very satisfying meal taste wise

Plato vegano decepcionante - curry a base de plantas Penang. Para ser honesto, la comida fue horrible. No era comestible. No puedo criticar el servicio pero la comida fue una gran decepción. No volveré, pero dudo que a The Ivy le importen los asientos, pero me siento comerciando con su nombre y no con la comida.

We came to the Ivy Leeds on 11th November for a meal . The whole experience was very enjoyable, from the food to the staff who were very polite and looked after my husband and I. I would highly recommend this restaurant. 5 stars all the way.

I made a reservation here for my sister’s birthday. From the first phone call to make the booking where I spoke to Matt, who was patient, friendly and helpful, to arriving on the night and being so well looked after, the whole experience was effortless and enjoyable. Without being prompted, Matt recalled and delivered on everything we discussed on the phone, including organising the birthday-box surprise for my sister, which may I say, looked amazing and tasted even better. Our waiter for the evening was attentive too, the food was fantastic, and overall I can’t recommend it enough.

Birthday meal imo too busy but great

Had terrible experience. Had £36 steak in Leeds , absolutely horrific ,chewy and tasteless. Tartare same meat just raw 😰 Chewy , tasteless. Best part was zucchini strips . Will never step in the restaurant again.Staff was friendly , average service, we didn’t complaint at the restaurant just paid and left very disappointed of not enjoying the meal .

Very, very poor service. We were a party of six we waited an hour before requesting that we place our food order. Starters came out at different times as did the main courses. Food was not hot. By the time we had finished our main course we had been there 2 3/4 hours so had no time for desert. We had to chase the staff continuously for drinks, for food for clearing etc etc. The Ivy has been so good in the past. We were all very disappointed as it was my son’s 21st Birthday.

This was my first trip ever to the Ivy and it may just be my last, it was the worst Afternoon Tea experience I have ever had. The quality of the food was poor, service was below average. I asked very very clearly not to have a salmon sandwich and they still brought one and the attitude of the staff when I had to politely remind them I am allergic to salmon was shocking. Leeds has better places for afternoon tea.

Very poor overall and completely over priced. Portions are very small also. Go literally anywhere else.

Dined over the weekend, the food was amazing not to mention the good atmosphere making my first experience here great. Can’t wait to come again! I visited with my daughter for a late afternoon / early tea. We were dressed quite casually after visiting Leeds uni open day and I was worried we would feel under dressed. The staff were lovely and everyone was really nice, not pretentious at all. We really enjoyed the cocktails and food was delicious. It had a buzzy atmosphere and gorgeous décor too. Can’t wait to visit again

Presentation and ambience and vibes are outstanding. Love the decor and everything from the lighting to the staff uniforms. Food presentation was very visually appealing- loved how the scallops were served on shells with foam. However, the scallops taste wise they weren’t the most tender and I thought the tater tot / creamed spinach combo it was served with was a bit strange. The steak tartare was very heavy on the parsley over the entire surface. Would have preferred more onion or capers as to parsley. The soy glazed cod was a bit salty. But the presentation and vibes made up for the food. Would come back, maybe for drinks at the bar and something small.

Earlier today, I visited The Ivy Victoria Quarter in Leeds with a friend to celebrate her birthday brunch. The online booking system was easy to navigate, and when we were running late, I appreciated the flexibility to adjust our reservation by 15 minutes without any trouble. Having dined at various The Ivy locations before, I often choose it for special occasions as it rarely disappoints - today being no exception. From the quality of the food to the attentiveness of the staff and the overall ambience, everything was faultless. My friend and I both ordered traditional fish and chips from the brunch menu, paired with a mixed berry smoothie and a mango and passionfruit cooler. The wait staff were consistently courteous, checking in to ensure everything was well. I would like to especially thank Declan - the lovely Scouser waiter - who significantly enhanced our visit. He remained friendly, funny, and polite, making us feel welcome and comfortable throughout the meal. Declan’s excellent service truly stood out, and I hope to see him again on my next visit to The Ivy Victoria Quarter in Leeds. Since this was my friend’s first time at any The Ivy branch, I was especially happy that her experience lived up to her expectations. It made the occasion even more special knowing she enjoyed it as much as I did!

Gorgeous food. Great service from very friendly guy. Nice house champagne. Table we sat at was quite close to other tables. Bit squashed. Still fab place to eat though.

Fabulous decor, food, and atmosphere. Staff were lovely, gave great recommendations, and the food was delicious.

Eating out isn’t cheap so do it properly. What’s the point in settling for substandard when this restaurant excels in all ways.

Food was lovely, although we did have an insect come out of the Berries in our pancakes. This was swiftly replaced. The chairs were slightly grubby and looked like they had food stains on them. This was rather disappointing for the Ivy. Service was excellent, we had a lovely waiter who made us laugh. Food was excellent as always. Lots.of healthy options as well as treats.

A perfectly cooked steak, tender and flavourful. The restaurant’s ambiance was cozy and inviting. From the quality of the food to the exceptional service, everything came together to make it a memorable dining experience. I can’t wait to return!

Could not have had a better experience yesterday. Priya our waitress was absolutely fantastic. She made the dinner so enjoyable. Personable, friendly, thoughtful, funny. It makes such a difference when the service is so fun. Also - the food here is unbelievable. I rate this as one of the best dining experiences we’ve had this year.

From start to finish an absolute fantastic experience. Entrance lobby was welcoming and staff were keen to greet with a smile. Cloakroom service for your coats etc is a lovely touch. Service from start to finish was top notch. Cannot recommend enough. If you enjoy quality ingredients, amazing service and a classy interior this is the place for you.

The ivy is exquisitely funky in design that makes you want to redecorate your own home. Its staff who cater for you are attentive and bubbly however the ladies on reception sadly lacked a personable manner. A young lady who served us made up for that, she was a gem. In terms of value for money, the warm drinks are refillable and they do a menu (£19.17 menu) that I feel is a great deal. Presentation lacked a certain attention to detail but we did enjoy eating there. Thankyou ‘the ivy’ for looking after us.

I can't rate the food here as we actually left before we had the chance. We arrived this Sunday having booked a table for 4pm for two, we had to bring our 2yr old due to CC issues. We were told this wasn't a problem but had to wait 5 minutes. That's where the customer service stopped. We were not asked if they could take our wet coats, not asked if we would like to go in and wait. We asked! We were then not shown where we could wait so found 3 chairs in the dining area. We were the completely ignored for more than 20 minutes no offer if we wanted a drink no word on the table absolutely nothing. A few frosty stares from one of the women front of house. For an establishment that seems pretty upmarket I was absolutely fuming. I go to many restaurants both "posh" and not so "posh" but never have my family not I been treated as if they didn't even want us there. Restaurants are more than good food it's the atmosphere, the service, the kindness of employees. The food could have been 10/10 but I will never go back.

Lovely 2 course meal, Friendly staff, good atmosphere, not too noisy and we could enjoy our conversation. The wine was very good however it was overpriced for what it was. Overall we thoroughly enjoyed the experience.

Nothing changes really, the meal was actually pretty good and not overly expensive, the wine as always IS fairly expensive. We had a waiter named Jamal, and he was very very good, on it, responsive, helpful & working the room nicely…but oh my god, your front of house are and always have been utterly shocking. Uninterested, inattentive, unsmiling, non communicative, basically anwful…its the simplest of things and you are terrible at it and it lets the whole place down. They were terrible “again” when we entered, and when we were leaving. Busy, which they weren’t, is not an excuse. I won’t send a bill for my partner and I saying goodnight to two sets of your guests last night when they looked for some recognition from your desk and none was forthcoming.

The food is decent, and the staff are very good. I was disappointed to learn the smoothie is actually poured from a plastic bottle and not fresh - tasted mediocre. It is expensive here for what it is, but you could argue you are paying for the atmosphere and name. It is spotlessly clean, and I couldn't fault the staff.

When you have a reputation attached to a brand, there is an expectation to behold The decor is the standard consistent style found in many Ivy establishments around the country Although I found this one a lot more relaxed than the others Service was great, all evening - friendly and efficient Where I felt let down was the food You expect the quality of ingredients and attention to the cooking to be better than a Wetherspoons as it is reflected in the pricing - which by the way, is not as high as perceived I’m not a fan of coriander and was disappointed to find it sprinkled in practically every dish - it’s not necessary and ruined my starter The calamari was good tho, but the accompanying salad was a disaster The steak main was akin to a minute steak special that you picked up in a petrol station shop on your way home from work, because they had nothing left and you didn’t fancy ordering a take away It was chewy and full of gristle and the jasmine rice that came with it had as much flavour as rolled up pieces of paper served in a miso soup bowl Would I return….yes, to the one in Cardiff, cos they appear to have a better chef 🫣

Friendly staff, nice vibe overall. Bar staff were really nice and made great drinks, and the fire was also decent. Had some good live music too so can't complain at all!

You have to see it to believe how nice it is in here, stunning drinks - best rum cocktail I had all day in Leeds. A busy place but lots of seating and loads of staff. Decor and atmosphere was brilliant - even the toilets smelt amazing haha!

We opted for the two course meal for £20 each, but the choices not very good and as my friend is dairy free we were told we could mix and match from both the deal menu and the vegan. My fault I tried the vegan burger but it was awful, then charged for every item separately, but the waitress quickly remedied this.

Stunning food and the service was exceptional. We are both coeliac and the dietary understanding was impeccable from all staff members.

Lunch ordered fish chips .mushy peas for 2. My food was lovely my friends food was not the fish was over cooked dry and more batter than fish Drinks nice but pricey Did not pay the £12.50 service charge due to bad food.

Today I had brunch with my boyfriend at the Ivy in Leeds and I want to say that I felt as good as every time I go here. The service is very professional, the atmosphere, the food, everything was perfect. I want to thank the waitress for her perfect service and Roberta (manager) for making us feel very good. I confidently recommend Ivy Leeds if you want a 5-star service and a magnificent atmosphere and quality food, you must definitely go to Ivy Leeds. Thank you for everything!🫶🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟

A traditional decoration restaurant with fusion British/Euro meal set. Quality of food is acceptable. The quality of Waiters’ service level as well as their dressing are also conventional.

The food at The Ivy Leeds is amazing, and the staff are super friendly. But they messed up a bit by giving us the wrong menu and charging us extra for chips that were supposed to be included. It felt a bit sneaky. Still, I'd recommend it for a special occasion. Just double-check your bill before paying!

Amazing place, the food was gorgeous and the staff couldn't do more to help us! I didn't catch the name of the waitress sorry but she was great, very attentive and friendly. There was a delay in our food so some of the table had already eaten most before the rest came but she sorted it quickly and comped our drinks as an apology which was very kind. The desserts were amazing, the chocolate bombe was to die for! Really lovely spot for some lunch on a busy Saturday afternoon!

We had afternoon tea for 4 table was too small for the tea plates the tea was nice but one cup of coffee or tea each, tea was very weak service slow ,we had to condense the plates to make room for tea and coffee

Had a wonderful evening for date night from entrance to leaving all the staff were lovely, Emily L was out waitress and couldn't do enough! Got a selection of wines to taste, recommend perfect meal choices, some might say expensive but worth it imo

I came here for lunch on Saturday with my wife and mother-in-law to celebrate our anniversary. Everything was amazing from the decor to the food we received, didn't notice any wait for the food and the service from Emily was amazing and found it good value as the food was fantastic. Will definitely be coming back.

As regular of The Ivy in Manchester and tower bridge. The leeds restaurant has the high quality standards too. Staff here so helpful and friendly too. Will definitely be visiting more often to the Leeds venue 😊 ☺️

Having dined many times at the original The Ivy London. The new The Ivy Collection is not a patch on the original, service is OK, the food is OK. Not rushing back. Also very pricey for what you get.

I absolutely loved my surprise birthday meal here. Thank you, hubby 😘 Our server, Adam, was so attentive, helpful, knowledgeable, and made us feel right at ease, like we had been dining here for years. He is a total credit to The Ivy. The food was delicious, and I highly recommend the monkfish and prawn coconut curry, I would have liked to of have more monkfish and or prawns as there were too much sweet potato in this dish for me liking, but that being said the taste, for me was perfect. We will definitely be returning x

Was a little disappointed, food was very ok, service was a little slow forgetting a couple of dishes. For these kind of prices I expect the food to be much better than ok.

Dubious about the visit, overhyped, overpriced? We chose the 1917 menu (ask for it as it wasn't given), and there are lots of dishes on here from the main menu at a set price. Rabbit croquettes and Ivy shepherds pie. Then, on the second night (yes , we went twice!) rabbit croquettes and the steak and chips. Food on both nights was outstanding, and the service was excellent, impeccable on the first night from the server, Emily? Overhyped - the brand works, and it was delivered well. Overpriced - drinks, yes to fit the ideal food, no! We will definitely try the local Ivy in Cardiff to see if values are upheld!!

A lovely setting for dinner, with attentive staff but the portion size for the price is ridiculous. I had two courses of average quality food - there was pieces of gristle in my Shepherds pie - and I had to go get pizza afterwards as I was still hungry & I won't start on the 12.5% surcharge !

I love going to the ivy ,always great service.attention to detail on everything.my criticism is recently they have change and shrunk their menu and specials are not adventurous enough.I have been to ivy more than 20 times,even I had couple of poor experiences I will still go back.

Booked here for me & my mam as we had a day trip in Leeds. We weren’t disappointed we sat outside & shown to our seat. The staff were very attentive especially Matt who made some recommendations from the menu. We chose good from the 1917 menu. Starter bang bang chicken Salmon with avocado & pesto Mains pan fried haddock spicy tomato salsa quinoa & a side of creamy spinach. Dessert chocolate bombe Amaretto coffee 2x gin & tonic Food & drinks delicious Would highly recommend coming here

Really lovely place. I think our waiter was called Dimitri and he was an absolute angel. Went for my birthday and he brought out a dessert with a candle and a chocolate that said “happy birthday”. Really beautiful place and amazing food. The smoked salmon and haddock fishcake was phenomenal.

A great place, for a special meal with the ones you love. The setting is a balance of themed art on the walls with style added from the furniture to the lighting. The team look after your needs with measured aplomb. The food adds that special something to perfectly wrap up your experience.

We had a lovely family meal after our Grandsons graduation. Good choices on the menu for our mixed age family.
