Went for coffee which was great. Then breakfast the next day. Lovely staff, super welcoming of Ned the dog. Breakfast really good, great choices. Will definitely go back. Our son said he has had lunch there and it was great too.

Wow a gem, did not know about this restaurant. Had amazing coffee and the sandwiches were to die for, fantastic combination of ingredients and really fresh on beautiful bread. There is a lovely atmosphere in the restaurant and the service is perfect

Although I had a lovely brunch. I unfortunately must have dropped my prescription Ray Ban sunglasses and it was not handed in after I left the place. I know I had them there. This has caused me much distress as I was travelling back in the sunshine without sunglasses with an eye condition. The shop assistant was very good at responding to my email. This message is really to the person who took these glasses which are no use to anyone but my eyes. Please just return them. Thank you.

Felt very badly treated by this place today. Says you can’t book so we waited as told a table in 20 mins would be available. We waited 40 mins and then a large party of 6 were taken ahead of us who had ‘booked’ apparently and were also late. Then refused to put 2 small tables together for us 4 which were available. Manager seemed to be hiding. Would not return. Wasted an hour of our time.

Stopped for coffee and cake. The cafe is nicely designed, with comfortable seating. Coffee and service were both good, but the pastries were standout. We had millefeuille and a honey cake which were both absolutely delicious.

Love the ambience, the warm and friendly staff and of course the delicious food, especially the French toast

French toast with caramelised banana and maple syrup was best I have ever had . Will be dreaming about this for a while ! Can’t recommend highly enough, great service and coffee . Cakes looked amazing as well

A very smart place in Wimbledon Village. Excellent coffee and lunchtime menu. Service quick and staff friendly. Recommend salmon and Bresaola sandwiches. Considering the location, the price is reasonable.

The cakes looked good and I can't say anything about the coffee. Brusque service, told they were closing soon and clearly didn't want to make us coffee close to closing time. Ordered at the counter and then hit with a 12.5% service charge which is just ridiculous when the service was reluctant/bad and we'd actually ordered 2 coffees and a piece of cake. Won't be returning.

Decent coffee, average cakes (which I didn't try). Free Wi-Fi and a good vibe. Indoor and outdoor seating. Recommended.

Waited @ table for 10 minutes before member of staff came over! She greeted me with a “hiya” as if I had know her! Not very professional! Told her I had been waiting & she simply laughed @ me! Extremely poor service, just wanted a nice breakfast on my day off!

Demitasse was a great addition to Wimbledon village when it opened, great ambiance, great service, superlative food and really great coffee. Recently food quality has taken a nose dive aiming for mediocrity, it saddens me to say this, but they have achieved their goal! Overcooked and tasteless, if you are making a trip to the village for breakfast stop at any other chain you find on the way, you will get the same quality and pay far less!

It is a pretty place in terms of decor. had to queue for a table. They tried to say someone else was in front of me but I said that the waiter over there saw me come in first so this should have been an early indication of how the meal would go. It seemed like they were watching us like a hawk as soon as I ate my last bite the plates were cleared the next second!! I was not very happy with my meal. A piece of my bread was burnt (see pic how can they serve that). I have the scrambled tofu but there was hardly any tofu in the dish compared to the other ingredients such as chickpea. The dish did not mention that it had spinach but i was fine with the spinach. If they are giving a description of the dish it should be accurate. The smoothie was not filled to the top.

I’ve been to this place more than 10-15 times and in each visit I’ve been impressed with the quality of food, creativity of dishes (Spiced banana, maple syrup yum), standard of professionalism, cleanliness and welcoming energy. I’ve lived in the area for a few years, have been to almost all restaurants/bars/coffee shops in the area and Demitasse certainly stands among the best. I attest the success of this place to Elisabeta, no matter how busy the place gets you’ll see her interacting with customers, smiling and just like a busy bee going up and down ensuring all is spot on, and spot on is exactly what you get. My dishes of choice are, egg and avocado toast; those eggs are bright and delicious, the Jasmin tea is fantastic and the tea pots make feel like a Persian prince : ) and for my favourite of all; Spiced banana & maple syrup… yum; this is DELICIOUS, I’ve tried to make it at home but never comes out quite the same, regardless of where I am on my calories for the day I’ll have this dish, who cares about calories when you have the fluffy, syrupy, deliciousness in your mouth : ) Anyway, clearly I could go on, but best to go try it.

I am delighted to have this coffee place close by. They offer the best coffee and brunch menu in the village. The staff is very attentive and you can tell they love what they do. I have tried many of their dishes and I have a hard time choosing a favorite. They are all delicious and beautifully presented. Demitasse, please, don’t change, you are perfect!

Went to the lovely Demitasse this morning with a girl friend and can only say the coffee and french toast with pistachios and apricots etc. were top notch. Water and was offered (and replenished as soon as it was finished) and served in gorgeous glasses....

This a lovely well run luxury cafe, great coffee and delicious food, very well presented and lovingly prepared. The staff are very nice and the decor is en pointe, soothing and stylish. All round winning formula, I will look forward to more visits.

A very calm and pleasant atmosphere and friendly, helpful staff. Good coffee and delicious food with ample portions. Thoughtful and interesting design and layout.

Waited 30 minutes for baked eggs at an off peak time when there were very few tables occupied. Tasty but the wait coupled with the price considering the portion makes me give it a 2 star marking

Speciality coffee, my favourite is Cortado! Great food, the smoked salmon and cheese out of this world !
