Dirty Bones Soho in City of London, Westminster

Went to dirty bones with my friends and the service was impeccable. Loved The Mac Daddy and the truffle fries. Kaz helped up with our choices and suggested the best things from the menu. Such a cute and cosy place to spend your evening.

Kaz was lovely , he served us today , very friendly. The whole environment of the restaurant was peaceful. All staff members were welcoming

My partner and I went over the weekend. We have been to the restaurant on Canarby St before which was fantastic so we had good expectations for the service and food. We had booked for 8pm, but it took 15 minutes to get even seated. Whilst being seated, we were offered tap water to have whilst there was going to be a bit of a wait. There were 2 groups around at the same time so whilst the wait was slightly long, it wasn't unexpected and we were happy to wait. Unfortunately, the tap water had been forgotten, and by 8:40 when we finally got the attention of one of the servers we were able to get this. Our drinks order wasn't taken until 8:50 and whilst I was trying to get our food ordered at the same time as our drinks due to it now being 50 minutes into our 90 minute table slot, the server ran off immediately and never even gave us the chance to order our food. Our drinks came at 9:05, and we got a food order in at the same time with the food coming at 9:15. The main my partner got was not what he ordered, which was disappointing, and after another 5 minutes it got replaced The chicken, sauces and drinks we got were lovely and the reason we came back, I have nothing but the highest compliments for the bar and kitchen staff. But the service we got was quite frankly the worst service we have ever gotten. The wait of 50 minutes to get a drinks order in, and seeing us get leapfrogged by groups that came after us, was frustrating at best. None of our servers could give us even a second to breathe before trying to get our food order in before sprinting away, or not giving us a single apology for the wrong food being sent and the wait or the service in general. I will never be coming back.

The truffle fries are an absolute recommendation! The burgers were also very strong and the service was really great even though it was super busy.

Oskar was very friendly and made us feel very welcome. His recommendations were spot on also. We would definitely return again

Great meal out at Dirty Bones before a show! We mentioned it was my bday and Ken treated me to a drink and a dessert on the house. My new favourite restaurant, will defo be back!

Mac n cheese was overcooked. Cole slaw was watery, and vegetables weren’t fresh. Was excited about trying this place but was disappointed :( not worth the money

Booked for pre theatre lunch. Excellent service, wonderful food! The vegan fried dill pickles with scotch bonnet jam and mayo are insanely good! And the toilets are behind the fake bookcase wall! X

Great service and food, yet I can tell "happy hour" cocktails are more like "watery hour" cocktails. I visited the place a few times and ordered the same drinks which taste so much better when you pay full price. C'mon lads, customers aren't that stupid :/

Wonderful service and delicious food, their chicken and waffles is especially my favourite. The chicken is always tender and has a unique flavourful seasoning that I've never experienced anywhere. Worth traveling to london just to taste it. Everything else on their menu is fresh and delicious too and they have such a wide array of dips and sauces it's impossible to try them all in one visit. An underrated restaurant.

Wagyu tang: 2/10 The classic: 10/10 Price:£30-40 The classic burger was a highlight, but the wagyu tang was disappointing. The bun felt like it sat for long and got soggy and oil from the cheese spoilt the overall experience. Additionally, the lack of staff check-ins to gauge our dining satisfaction was unexpected. Regrettably, won’t be visiting this establishment again.

Good flavour burger and side of fries but could do with some salad to dress it up. We were given a small pot of ketchup and mayonnaise for 2 people. I tried to get the waiters eye to bring more but couldn't get his attention (restaurant was about a third full). Not offered to see the dessert menu so we didn't bother asking. Place looks nice and if you like fairly loud music when eating then all good. No one said goodbye or see you again soon even though out waiter and other staff were by the door when we left. A bit rude really.

pretty good food. but the service… absolutely incredible. a dragon broke through the window and started attacking my friend but our server Kaz slayed the dragon with his bare hands. We were then greeted by a wizard who granted him 16 gold coins. Kaz then distributed them all to my group. what an absolute legend and my saviour. would come again just for him. also the mac daddy was pretty good

Oh kaz, where do I begin? From the wonderful and passionate attitude towards his craft to the kind hearted and thoughtful gesture of including 3 free desserts on the house for the sake of atmosphere and celebration, he really drove our night home in a Porsche 911 on a road made of clouds with flawless service and exceptional social skills. His beard is also luscious and he smells really nice which definitely enhanced the whole experience.

My husband and I are not the intended customers (70ish). Matteo was most attentive and the small plates were just what we needed on a chilly afternoon. Cool, minimalist decor and urban soundtrack.

I had a wonderful experience at the restaurant! The waitress Magda was incredibly friendly and helpful, always approaching our orders with a smile. Her professionalism made us feel special. Came here really late on Friday after watching Moulin Rouge at the theatre next door. Greeted and served by Michael the owner who was brilliant and a great host. The food was amazing. I had the Mac Daddy and Shorty Tots. I swear the pulled beef was so tender it just melted in my mouth. The Mac Daddy was amazing and with the perfect Mac and cheese too. The Mrs had chicken and waffles and corn ribs and loved everything. Can't wait for another trip down to London and another meal here.

To put it simply, it’s fried chicken drumstick🤣 The menu says to marinate chicken with salt koji🐓 Make chicken more delicious and juicy tastes good But the skin is a little thicker Just too much rice cake? Truffle fries 🍟The portion is quite large I felt a little tired after eating it Waffles🧇delicious Humidity is sufficient The dipping sauce is a bit special One of them tastes like Chinese medicine🌿👅 Business is good👍🏻

Overpriced food. Small quantities, don't expect a towering monster burger as they are quite small and limp, served on a side plate. The mains are served without sides, instead you have to order (and pay for) these separately. Views overlooking the overflowing bins outside. Music too loud. Luke-warm, plain and greasy food with mine seeming to have congealed sauce around it I couldn't quite identify. Serving staff nice but they got the drinks order wrong after explaining it a few times (the incorrect drink was quickly replaced but the others weren't very nice either). Ordered extra fries which we never got but they appeared on the bill until we pointed this out. Got a small, free desert (4 spoons) for one of the kids as an apology which was a nice thought but a bit too late to improve our opinion sadly. Not recommended if you like quality as a family of four ate poorly for around £85.

Comida muy cara. Pequeñas cantidades, no esperes una hamburguesa monstruosa imponente ya que era bastante pequeña y flácida, servida en un plato lateral. La red se sirve sin lados, en su lugar hay que pedir (y pagar) estos por separado. Vistas con vistas a las papeleras desbordantes fuera. Música demasiado alta. Luke - comida cálida, sencilla y grasienta con la mía que parece tener salsa congelada a su alrededor que no podía identificar. El personal de servicio agradable, pero se equivocó de orden de bebidas después de explicarlo un par de veces (la bebida incorrecta fue rápidamente reemplazado, pero los demás no eran muy agradables tampoco) . Pedimos papas fritas adicionales que nunca conseguimos, pero aparecieron en la factura hasta que señalamos esto. Tengo un pequeño desierto libre (4 cucharas) para uno de los niños como una disculpa que fue un buen pensamiento, pero un poco demasiado tarde para mejorar nuestra opinión tristemente. No se recomienda si te gusta la calidad como una familia de cuatro comió mal por alrededor de £ 85.

If I could give more than 5* for service I would. I visited by chance in July and returned with 7 friends in November even though we were no where near the Soho restaurant because of the amazing food but just extremely lovely and friendly service. And we were not disappointed!!! We will all be returning!!

Mateo was wonderful, we didn’t have a reservation but he moved some things around and made sure we had an excellent experience..11/10 would eat here again.

Genuinely one of the most welcoming places I've been so. Henry (and rest of the staff!) were incredibly attentive, food was served very quickly, and it was absolutely delicious to boot! Will absolutely be coming back, highly recommend

First time at this great little restaurant. We hadn’t eaten all day, so went for 2 staters, 2 mains and 2 sides. Plenty of food and the WAGYU-TANG burger was cooked perfectly and the Buffalo Chicken portion was large. We also had a cocktail and beer and the bill was just under £100.

Llevó a mi hijo de 14 años aquí por su cumpleaños y no decepcionó. Ambos comimos el filete de hierro plano. Cocinado a la perfección. El postre (sándwich de donuts) es uno de los mejores que he probado. Comida increíble. Personal de camareros igualmente fantástico. Sin duda volvería de nuevo.

We had booked a table for a group of 9 people at Dirty Bones when we arrived we spoke to the staff regarding our table and when we went to be seated another group of 9 was already there!!!! We spoke to the manager there and for some reason it was double-booked not a good start to our evening, 20 mins later we were given a table in the main dining area and were told if the original table came free they were more than happy to move us. After this bad start to our evening, we could fault the staff or the management team looking after us through the night, once again thank you for a great night from you staff and management Team .

Food -beef tacos- had to be sent back as one of the pair was just warm, the other stone cold, which is worrying. Replacement was piping hot. They took it off the bill and gave me a free drink. But it shouldn't have happened. The food, otherwise, was really good and I'll give them another chance next time I'm around there.

Food was below average and service was abysmal. The worst service we had in London by far. Went on a Sunday night and there was one server for 12 people in the restaurant. The tacos and salad were mediocre at best. Will never be back

We received a very friendly and warm welcome and received first class service. The classic double stack burger was very succulent and truely amazing! However the price of £13.50 for a small glass of Rose Proseco I felt was rather extortionate. Hence 4 stars.

I used to go to the Shoreditch one quite a bit so nice to see the menu hasn't changed too much. A few bits not available on the night but what we had was good. Would definitely go back.

very disappointed in the food I got. The "signature" chicken was dry and flavourless. The cheeseburger gyozas shouldn't even be inflicted on your worst enemy. and the man who sat and served me didn't seem to know what day it was. the cocktails were nice but on the whole I left out of pocket and unsatisfied

Really good place to go for casual dining and if you’re wanting to gorge on some chest food. Enjoyed the food and the place itself. A little hard to hear and talk conversation wise due to the nice in the restaurant but overall a good experience with tasty food. Server was slightly irritating and a bit cringe I had the MacDaddy with cheese truffle chips, followed by salted caramel doughnut sandwich. Only issue was they didn’t have the double chocolate ice cream for the doughnut sandwich. Oh, how could I forget, the roast chicken mayo was sublime!

Limited menu.. some things were not available... not good for vegetarians... very standard fast food quality ... online menu/pics did not match what they were serving/available.... quite expensive given the quality of the food
